Best band in the galaxy!.......2007-05-31

I used to be one of those people that didn't "get" Gwar, and boy was I missing out. I wasn't a huge fan until recently, I was kind of getting tired of the same old tough guy metal and went out and bought "Beyond Hell", ever since I've been addicted to this band and I've bought everything they've ever made. "Beyond hell" is probably my favorite(it's so hard to choose)with "Scumdogs" next and "Carnival of Chaos" is my least favorite, but is still a great album. Gwar has created a punk/metal legacy that is larger than life and a cult following that will live forever. ALL HAIL THE SCUMDOGS OF THE UNIVERSE!

GWAR won't ever be able to write lyrics like the Bloodhound Gang (or even touch them), but if the BHG had a _______ upped, rabid, rambuctious cousin, this is it (if you disagree with my comparison, leave it and don't say anything if you had something negative to see). I won't deny that these guys are ____ outrageous, but that's what's cool about them. Also worth noting is how _______ good and energetic these guys are. Punk and trash work well.

This cd is better than America Must Be Destroyed. This and that are the only GWAR albums that are worth buying for the casula fan. These are thw two.

IF anything, go see Gwar live. An idea from Comrade Ren that works its to wear a white shirt. Then get soaked in the fake _____ they spray on the crowd. Don't know if it stains or jsut comes off. It would bve cool to find a white shirt with the Gwar logo, but good luck finding that.

If you like metal, than give thsi a chance. Gwar really is from freakin' outer space!

Gwar is one of my favorite bands. I've gotten a lot of crap for that over the years but after listening to this album (or any of their others) one can't deny that even if they dont like their style or their lyrics...that they are very talented musicians.
Every song on here is great and funny as hell. Sick of You, King Queen, Black and huge...
and the song which i believe has one of the catchiest metal riffs you're ever gonna hear is Love Surgery...that crunchy riff on the first and second verse is absolutely awesome!
This is a must buy for anybody who wants to hear something new that doesn't suck or for any metal head who still refuses to give them a chance.

Man, I just can't get enough of Gwar, I love this band to death. They are without a shadow of a doubt the funniest band ever, and they're also an awesome metal band as well. "Scumdogs of the Universe" is no doubt one of Gwar's funniest, insanse, and BEST albums ever. Whenever I listen to this album, I smile and laugh in sheer delight. The lyrics are just insanely hilarious. The musicianship on here are really awesome. Oderus Urungus's vocals are pretty cool, Flattus Maximus and Balsac The Jaws of Death have some great guitar riffs and solos. Beefcake the Mighty's bass is just awesome on here, you can really hear his bass lines on here throughout. Jizmark The Gusher's drumming is really good as well. Every song on here is just flat out hilarious including the opening track "The Salaminizer", "Maggots" a great fast thrashing track with some flies buzzing in the background, "Sick of You", "King Queen", "Horror of Yig", "Cool Place to Park", "Sexecutioner", and of course "Slaughterama" which is without a doubt the funniest song on the album, and my favorite as well. The lyrics on this song are about killing hippies, artsy fartsy types and of course nazi skinheads. Oh yeah, did I mention that the band's manager Sleazy P. Martini does the vocals on this song. HILARIOUS. So anyways if you want an album that you can bang your head and laugh your head off to, then Gwar's "Scumdogs of the Universe" is your ticket to insane laughter and headbanging enjoyment. LONG LIVE GWAR!! SCUMDOGS FOREVER!!

on man this disc is AWESOME! i especially like sick of you, but the whole cd is awesome. ya the lyrics are sick and twisted but thats what makes it great...sometimes you cant even understand the lyrics but so what....CRANK IT UP!!!!
