I only knew about this because I happened to visit Minus Zero
Records in London at the right time. The song "Creation" is a
gem--a classic big guitar riff as good as any from Paranoid or
Led Zeppelin II.

      Amazon doesn't provide a lot of information on this album, so I thought I'd supply some.

      Powersurge's self-titled debut (and only) album was released in 1991 on Roadrunner's Roadracer label. The band's sound can best be described as early Queensryche meets early Crimson Glory (though not as good as either of those bands) or perhaps Armored Saint meets Lizzy Borden. It is a solid American power metal album, but by 1991 that sound was already starting to seem a bit dated. Still, it is a worthwhile addition to your power metal collection if you can find it for a few bucks - and there appear to be a few Amazon sellers at that price range.

        Hey, not a bad CD! I didn't expect too much, but I was a bit surprised. If you like Green Day, you'll like most of the stuff on here. And of course the Living End. That should be enough for you to get it right there.
