Paul Gilbert is one of my favorite musicians, but this album shows his ability to combine songwriting with some serious shredding. While hardcore Racer X fans may be disgusted, don't be fooled...This is a smart, well crafted, great sounding CD. There are actually alot of great songs here; More than on any Racer X album(except Superheros, of course...). Nice vocal harmonies, too. I'm impressed and pleasantly surprised.

It's not RacerX, but this CD is a must have for any guitarist. Although the songs are simple the playing is Paul Gilbert at his finest. The best thing about this CD is how easy it is to listen to, it's probably the only Paul Gilbert recording your girlfriend will enjoy !

I personally believe the old one, X-Racer, is better. I prefer the guitar solo album more than singing the song, sorry!

Paul has got to be one of the best musicians today He may have slowed down some since his Racer X days, but as he said, you have to look at Guitar as an art, not an athletic event! I love you Paul!
