Bowel Of Chiley.

This is actually the second Mr. Bungle demo, circa '87. I'm not sure why it is on Amazon's website...but this thing is really cool to listen to.

First and foremost, the production sucks. It's not lo-fi like most bands...it's actually pretty good. It is lo-fi in the sense that there is so much going on you need to have top notch production to put all the instruments together to sound good.

There are a lot of gems on this demo. The early version of Carousel is very interesting to hear. For No Reason is a really cool song, and it's kind of disappointing that it never got the treatment of some good studio production. Evil Satan has a really cool horn-guitar part. The whole demo is a lot more...ska...than you would expect. Mucho horn. And that crazy Jamaican guiatar. Oh, and Patton sounds a lot more death-metalish. He has a crazier voice and stuff. It's good stuff.

Not like you'll be able to acquire this demo from Amazon. But if you can find it online download it. It's nostalgic.
