5 out of 5 stars Great CD. Must Be Played Loud !!.......2007-07-06

If you like well recorded albums, this is one of those. But if you also enjoy excellent guitar playing, then this is a must. I first listened to it on Internet Radio and it just blew my mind. Enjoy it loud!

    Album Description

This is a rock record of many moods. All 13 songs were written by DAVE UHRICH. Nine are vocal, all are emotional and bring the listner into both the head and heart of DAVE UHRICH.

4 out of 5 stars BEST VALUE FOR MONEY IN MY COLLECTION.......2004-11-04

As I paid 9 cents for this CD, that isn't all that remarkable. I am in between the forgone reviews. I don't mind some of the songs and the instrumentals are very strong. DAVE UHRICH is a very good guitarist and an adequate singer. I can't see how someone compared these tunes to BOB DYLAN as they are lyricaly not much above average, however they definately grow on you and the whole CD impresses more after every listen. I liked it so much that I ordered 2 more UHRICH cd's. I was very sceptical when I ordered this CD ( lots for sale and very low price ) but am very pleasently surprised. If you bought this to get some HENDRIX flavours, you'd be dissapointed and I guess that explains the price and number of the 2nd hand CD's. If you'd expected something closer to VI or SATRIANI, you'd be quite happy as this is a good example of this genre.

    2 out of 5 stars Ho Hum.......2003-03-01

I saw Dave Uhrich open for Tesla in 1994 and was STUNNED by his playing. He put on a Hendrix-like show with his 3 piece power trio.
I immediately sought out any recording I could find by him. I was able to find one older release by him which did NOT impress me. I kinda forgot about Dave until last year when I met the guy who played drums on that tour and is currently the drummer for Styx. We talked at length about Dave and what a great player he was. I started looking for current music from Dave and found this. Figured I would take a shot based on the solid reviews I read here. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. Weak song writing, pallid vocal performance and simply no punch on this record. Sure Dave is a great player...but there are simply no HOOKS or infectious grooves on this CD. Dave is an amazing player LIVE...but on vinyl...Ive YET to be impressed. If youre considering this record I would recommend ANYTHING by Ritchie Kotzen instead.

    5 out of 5 stars Good album.......2001-10-09

I've been playing guitar for 8 years, I have two Ibanez RGs. I am a guitar-afficionado. I get this CD, if for nothing else then for Air Guitar. I haven't heard such a beautiful composition ever since I've listened to Yngwie Malmsteen. BEAUTIFUL.

5 out of 5 stars Dave Uhrich will be the next big star !.......2001-01-28

This is Dave Uhrich's 3rd CD, and it may just be the best one yet. Everyone knows that he is one of the very best guitar players in the world, but here he proves that he can write a meaningful lyric as well.

The CD is full of emotions that will move the listner. Some songs tell of lost love and betrayal; others of hope ; and then a few instrumentals to change pace. Cuppid's Valentine is so soulful, it moved me to tears and then all of a sudden it explodes into a rock anthem.

CHANGE is GOOD! CHANGE is Great !

5 out of 5 stars VAN HALEN plays BOB DYLAN.......2000-01-22

I recently saw a Dave Uhrich concert televised on the Net. My friends and I at school could not believe what a great live show he put on. The next day I ordered his CD. WHAT A FIND! Each song challenges the listener to take notice. Uhrich has something to say and it's worth hearing. As a guitarist, I don't think he has an equal. It's like Van Halen is playing to Bob Dylan lyrics. Many CD's only have one or two good tunes, CHANGE is great from begining to end. We're now Dave Uhrich fans in Dallas.
