5 out of 5 stars A Must-have for 80s Metal Fans.......2007-05-24

This album is great. It's a must-have for your metal collection. I've been waiting a while for some good music to come out, and here it is. Just to qualify my statements a little, I've been a metalhead for over 25 years and listen to everything from Bon Jovi to Slayer. I'm an amateur musician, too, and have been in bands. I appreciate any kind of music that is played well. I can't wait to see this band live finally when they are on tour in the U.S.

On this CD, the musicians are awesome and Doro's voice is great. The sound quality and mixing are good, though Doro's vocals might be a little louder than the music on some songs. The music covers all grounds, from ballads to rockers to anthems. If you like to hear a little variety like that, this is a great album to have.

There are some really cool, catchy songs on here, such as "You're My Family," "Haunted Heart," "Thunderspell," and "My Majesty." "Heaven I See" starts out like a ballad, but then turns into an anthem, producing a killer song (and I've put this one on a mix CD already). "Above the Ashes" is another great anthem, but I think I like the sound of the live version better (which I've seen in various videos on-line). Since I'm a huge Judas Priest fan, I think the chorus of Doro's "Shine On" reminds me of Priest's "Before the Dawn." (Try it out.) There is a hidden track, at the end of "Shine On." It's just a clean-channel electric guitar and vocals version of the title track. Oh, and there are two German songs on here, but don't worry about that if you don't know German. One is a ballad, and Doro sings it so beautifully that you won't care what language it is. The other is an attempt at a punk-like, just-for-fun song. It's so "in your face," that the primary language of the song doesn't matter, either. Don't worry; Doro's English is perfect on all of the other songs.

This album has been in constant rotation in my CD players since I've gotten it. Just like other U.S. fans, I was a Warlock fan in the 80s (since "Hellbound"), but I lost track of Doro's work since the early 90s after her self-titled album. I'm glad she and her band are still around and producing great work. This album needs to be on American radio.

3 out of 5 stars Decent but not essential. 3.5 stars in many respects........2006-07-05

This is actually a stronger Doro album than some that have staggered out of the studio since her conversion to a solo artist. Doro has left behind the bandwagon jumping of macihne II Machine and the wimpout that was Force Majeure. Calling the Wild actually got some decent promotion as well which hasn't happened for many of her albums.

The songs here are reasonably strong since Doro knows that she works best when she operates with others and so most of the tracks here are co-written with other writers. Bonus value is added in terms of interest by the inclusion of some guest musicians such as Al Pitrelli, the sometime Savatage/Megadeth shredder lending a hand on the good quality hard rocker Dedication (I give my blood) and the mellower cut Who You Love. One problem with this release is the over attention paid to ballads which is par for the course for a Doro album. I managed to get hold of the limited boxed edition version which isn't bad value for the extra tracks, though the postcard and mini poster etc do smack of a very European and Japanese market fascination for such things. Lemmy puts in an appearance on one of these bonus tracks and it should be noted that all three bonus tracks are covers.

Doro doesn't have to put out awesome albums, just decent ones to justify the next round of European rock festival appearances. It's a rut but a lucrative one presumably and this album is sure to have added a couple of new tracks to her live set as it is upbeat, well produced and planed and is held together very much by a love of the game. A return to her roots, if a little heavy on ballads.

5 out of 5 stars The First Classic of the New Millenium!.......2005-08-28

Just when I thought music was dead, The Queen returned to remind us all that kick-ass rock & roll will live forever - just not in the United States!
Doro Pesch, formerly of 80's metal band Warlock, graces us with another outstanding effort! This is what hard rock should be; blistering vocals, screaming guitars & thundering rhythms, without the pompous posturing prevalent in today's FM schlock. Every song is brilliant, with great lyrics & quality musicianship throughout. The rockers rock harder than anything on the Billboard charts in 2000, & the ballads are more beautiful than any of the contrived syrup that passes for hit songs these days. Her voice is as strong & seductive as ever, pulling you in by the short-&-curlies & never letting go! "Kiss Me Like A Cobra", "Dedicate" & "Fuel" are pure magic, first-class metal in every sense; "Scarred" is as haunting as it is heart-felt, with REAL FEELING that hits you where you live. The other tracks are just as strong, not just filler fluff like so many of today's suck-wad bands that fart out fifty minutes of dreck to get you to pay $20 for the one piece of crap you heard on the radio. This is a solid hour of excellence, presented by one of the greatest vocalists of all time!
WAKE UP AMERICA! Stop reading Rolling Stone! Give up on MTV & VH-1! The American Corporate Music Machine will never allow you to experience quality music until we stand as one, call our local FM garbage scow & tell the local excrement-pimp - "GIVE ME DORO OR GIVE ME DEATH!!"

4 out of 5 stars The Last Hope?.......2004-12-28

Doro's solo courier hasn't been so successful and great than it was in "Warlock"-time. This album is maybe Doro's best solo album. It has many great hard rock songs and ballads. The first track "Kiss Me Like a Cobra" is a killer track..."You Put Me in a State of Trance, Seduce Me Like a Cobra...Could It Be Our Last Romance When You Kiss Me Like a Cobra"...amazing and Doro's voice is better than ever. "Dedication", powerful "Burn It Up", "Ich Will Alles" (I Want All), "White Wedding" (Billy Idol's song), "I Wanna Live", "Fuel", and "Now Or Never" prove that Doro is as wild and powerful as in Warlock times. There's also beautiful ballads "Who You Love", "Scarred", Give Me a Reason", "Constant Danger", "Black Rose", "Danke", and "Love Me Forever" (with Lemmy Kilmister from Motörhead). Doro shows the best of the both worlds. My favourite Doro album.
Stars: Kiss Me Like a Cobra, Who You Love, Burn It Up, Now Or Never (Hope in the Darkest Hour)

5 out of 5 stars DORO: The Goddess of Metal.......2001-10-10

There are two version of this CD. One begins with "Kiss me Like a Cobra" and the other begins with "TerrorVision". While Terror Vision is a remake from her previous CD "Love Me in Black", it takes on a whole new meaning on this CD. Both CD's are a MUST HAVE FOR Doro FANS, and a GOTTA HAVE for the uninitiated.

This is not manufactured music, this is not boyband, girlie band stuff, so if your expecting love song after love song after silly love song....GO SOMEPLACE ELSE.

"I WANNA LIVE" has an anthemic feeling, this is one song that is going to be timeless. You will not get tired of hearing it no matter how much you play this track. You need to call your local radio station and tell the payola DJ to put aside his corporate playlist and PUT ON SOME REAL MUSIC.

For those who are seeking the voice of an angel, "Give Me a Reason" will satisfy that urge, it is true and classic DORO revealing that voice of an angel that DORO fans have come to know and love.

"PAIN", another song pulled from the LOVE ME IN BLACK cd, OH, YEAH, IT ROCKS....IT REALLY REALLY REALLY ROCKS.

If you haven't tried DORO: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? TRY IT GET HOOKED, YOU WILL LOVE IT......

2 out of 5 stars Not all that forceful at all........2006-07-12

After Warlocks Triumph & Agony the whole concept collapsed. This is basically a solo album despire it's billing as Doro + Warlock (at least on my edition).

And there isn't much to interest anyone. Perhaps had Warlock gone out with a whimper and not the T&A barnstormer which was five stars all the way, then the fall to this wouldn't of been so heavy. But ultimately this is a poor album of weak tracks attacked without ooommphh, without power, the self promoting lyrics about how ready to rock we all are wearing thin very quickly.

Notable exceptions would be the awesome, gentle lure of Beyond the Trees and there is also some pleasure to be salvaged from hellraiser and the cover of Whiter Shade of Pale is at least an interesting choice.

A serious blow to the esteem in which the metal community held Doro. This is a poor mish mash of soft rock quite possible stunted by a lack of confidence in the face of the enormity of being a solo artist.

5 out of 5 stars A diamond by any other name............2005-07-18

It took a team of lawyers to strip Doro Pesch of the legal right to use the name Warlock, so she reminded us of who Warlock REALLY was - DORO!!
The name has changed, but the monster remains the same! Doro Pesch proved to the world that she is one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time on this album, the BEST of her career! Once you get past her better-than-the-original cover of Procol Harum's "Whiter Shade of Pale", strap yourself in & turn the volume UP!! Every song rocks, even the ballads ("River of Tears" is the best of her career!), & by the time it's over you'll be ready for another, so get "Fight" or "Love Me in Black" too! Or, get the DVD of Doro & Warlock live from their 1985 tour. (She was maybe 20 at that time, & even the sub-standard audio can't hide the strength of her awesome voice!)
This is ONE OF THE TEN BEST METAL ALBUMS OF ALL TIME, & certainly one of the best 100 rock albums ever! If you like Heart, Vixen or Joan Jett you'll LOVE Doro!!

3 out of 5 stars She Is What She Is.......2004-12-23

Did Warlock just change their name as Doro or did the vocalist start a solo courier? Or both? Well, you can think of it. The first Doro album starts with a cover ballad...one may say that it is extra strange but I say...it is a perfect start. It is a beautiful ballad and it makes the commercial thought out of it. After "Whiter Shade of Pale" starts the hard rock straight line...Save My Soul...World Gone Wild...Mission of Mercy...and Angels With Dirty Faces. After thinking about it you are a roundabout...but "Beyond the Trees" and "River of Tears" are quite good ballads. There's then some songs that don't fancy me "Hard Times", "Hellraiser", "Under the Gun" which are basic hard rock songs. "Bis Aufs Blut" is a great end for this album...and "I Am What I Am" is great too...it is a fast track and we rockers need fast hard rock tracks, don't we?
Stars: Angels With Dirty Faces, Save My Soul, A Whiter Shade of Pale

    5 out of 5 stars Doro Rocks!.......2002-07-04

This album contains an awesome cover version of Whiter Shade of Pale. Under The Gun is my favorite Doro tune period. Definitely one of the best Doro albums.

    4 out of 5 stars DORO'S BEST EFFORT - A REAL ROCKER!.......1999-06-11

ASIDE FROM THE ALBUM "TRIUMPH AND AGONY" BY WARLOCK, I ONLY LIKED A FEW OTHER SONGS HERE AND THERE SHE DID SOLO OR WITH WARLOCK, HOWEVER, THIS ALBUM IS GREAT FROM START TO FINISH! SONGS LIKE "SAVE MY SOUL", "HARD TIMES", "MISSION OF MERCY", "WORLD GONE WILD" AND THE BALLADS "BEYOND THE TREES" AND "RIVER OF TEARS" ILLUSTRATE HER TALENT, UNIQUE VOCAL STYLE AND SONGWRITING AT THEIR STRONGEST. JON DEVIN ALSO ADDS SOME VERY NICE GUITAR WORK THROUGHOUT! IF SHE HAD CONTINUED TO PUT OUT STUFF AS SOLID AS WHAT IS ON THIS ALBUM, I WOULD'VE BEEN A BIG FAN. :(

4 out of 5 stars A worthy purchase for the Warlock newcomer.......2006-06-12

If your hankering to find out about this band then this is probably your best bet. That's why I rated it at four stars. Musically speaking it's possibly wandering between 3 & 4 stars but for value for the newcomer, then I've gotta give it the four star treatment.

Anyway, Earthshaker rock is a Warlock retrospective with liner notes by rock scribe Malcolm Dome, which are a little out of date now but are still a handy primer for someone wanting a little background regarding the Warlock story.

Personally, the committed Warlock fan would be better off buying the Rare Diamonds disc as it has more curiosity type tracks and some live versions of tracks which make it an enjoyable listen even if you have all the studio works. However where this disc picks up extra points is the fact that it's done in release order. Why aren't more band retrospectives done like this! You can hear the band alter through time.

Given a choice between this album and Rare Diamonds the newcomer should buy this. It's also a very handy buy for anybody who is interested in the history of female fronted metal which is a hot topic (at the time I wrote this). It's also a good buy if your into 80's metal. Not the hair metal poser boy stuff, but just the sort of metal that was around then.

Some purists might not like the inclusion of tracks off Doros first solo album but from memory that was credited to 'Doro & Warlock' so I guess it's a logical thing to include them.

Once again, a very good buy for the newcomer.

4 out of 5 stars Great compilation- Earth shaker rock, indeed!.......2004-03-25

Earth Shaker Rock(1998). The first compilation which covers all four of Warlock's studio albums plus several tracks off of the first Doro solo cd.

For the last few years, I've been a fairly huge fan of Vixen, a late 80s pop metal band consisting of four talented female musicians. I have always enjoyed their style of blending catchy pop hooks with their ability to rock hard, also given the fact that Vixen was the only female heavy metal group that I knew of at the time. Lita Ford was alright, and of course I give my props to Pat Benatar as well. I'd always heard a little bit about Warlock, a female fronted band, but I didn't actually give them a listen until fairly recently, so I finally decided to buy this compilation. Upon popping the disc in, I was BLOWN AWAY! Warlock was no sappy pop metal or glamourous hair metal act. No, this was REAL, balls-to-the-wall, in-your-face HEAVY METAL, something akin to Judas Priest, but with a female singer. And what a powerful vocalist Doro Pesche is! This German female vocalist can really belt out some shouts to absolutely GIANT anthems. I always love a good heavy metal album that can make my ears ring, and Warlock has no trouble getting the job done. Other than Judas Priest and maybe Accept, Warlock is perhaps one of the heaviest 80s heavy metal bands I've heard (not including thrash metal bands). They've replaced Vixen as my favorite female fronted band, and I consider Doro Pesche to be the official "Metalgoddess". Of course, she's not the only one that makes Warlock a great listen. The twin guitar attack of Rudy Graf and Peter Szigeti shreds through the songs with ease, and both bassist Frank Rittel and drummer Michael Eurich both keep up with the rest of the band decently, though they aren't really all too notable. So how does this compilation fare? Here's the lowdown of each album's representation in order of their releases:

    BURNING THE WITCHES(1984)
TRACKS: Burning The Witches, Metal Racer
COMMENTS: These two raw, heavy-hitting rockers are the perfect way to start the compilation, and really grab your attention right off the bat. Still, as great as these two tracks are, I really would've liked to see more songs off the blazing debut album, such as 'Sign Of Satan' and 'Dark Fade'.

    HELLBOUND(1985)
TRACKS: Hellbound, Earth Shaker Rock, Time To Die
COMMENTS: Warlock's heaviest album gets slightly better representation than the debut, but I would've still liked to see more songs like 'Wrathchild' (NOT the Iron Maiden song) and 'All Night'. Hellbound is a very fast and hard-rocking track, as is the equally excellent and fiery arena anthem 'Earth Shaker Rock'.

    TRUE AS STEEL(1986)
TRACKS: Love In The Danger Zone, True As Steel
COMMENTS: Like the debut, this excellent album gets little representation. Where are 'Love Song', 'Mr. Gold', and 'Fight For Rock'? The two cuts are actually great songs though.

    TRIUMPH AND AGONY(1987)
TRACKS: All We Are, Three Minute Warning, I Rule The Ruins, Metal Tango, Fur Immer
COMMENTS: Thankfully, there is plenty to show for Warlock's best and final album. 'All We Are' is a HUGE pounding anthem, and 'Three Minute Warning' is a short, yet frantic rocker. 'I Rule The Ruins' is Warlock at their commercial melodic best. The other two tracks, 'Metal Tango' and 'Fur Immer' are unique in style with the latter track being a ballad sung in German set to a military drum beat. I'd say that Triumph and Agony was represented very well.

    FORCE MAJEURE(1989)
TRACKS: Hellraiser, Angel With Dirty Faces, Under The Gun, Something Wicked This Way Comes (NOT the Iced Earth song)
COMMENTS: With the exception of the last track, these are some great rockers, but WHY is there material from Doro's first solo album on here? This is a WARLOCK compilation! There should be a separate compilation covering Doro's solo years. Getting rid of these tracks would make room for more great rockers from earlier albums. With this album, Doro starts treading into pop metal territory, although I suppose that this album sounds close enough to Warlock to warrant inclusion. 'Hellraiser' and 'Under The Gun' both definitely sound like they belong on the earlier albums.

For the most part, Earth Shaker Rock manages to cover most of Warlock's notable material well, though because they didn't include enough earlier material and decided to randomly throw on Doro's solo material at the end, I'm only giving ESR four stars. Still, don't let that discourage you because this disc is definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of straight forward heavy metal music. It serves as a perfect introduction to the band if anything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Other band albums to check out that sound like Warlock:
-'The Very Best Of Vixen' by Vixen
-'Metal Works 73-93' by Judas Priest
-'Best Of Doro' by Doro Pesche
    -'Beware The Heavens' by Sinergy
    -'Be My God' by Lullacry
    -'Mandylion' by The Gathering

5 out of 5 stars THE BEST OF THE BEST.......2001-10-10

This is a comilation CD. IT ROCKS. In true and simple words....THIS ROCKS. From the first track to the last, you will not be disappointed.

This CD will give the new listener a view of the early days of WARLOCK with awesome tracks like "Burning the Witches" "Hellbound", and "All We Are".

For the true DORO fan, Earthshaker Rock will give you over 6 years of DORO on one CD. It doesn't get any better than that...unless of course your watching DORO live.

    RECOMMENDATION: BUY IT

    5 out of 5 stars great collection.......2000-07-20

Some great pieces by Warlock in the mid 80s can be found here. If you only really want to buy one album of hers/theirs, then consider this one. But if you want to be really exposed to some amazingly beautiful music, have a listen to Burning the Witches, Hellbound, True As Steel, Doro, Force Majuere and every other thing she's ever done. The Holy Dio album has an incredibly well done cover version of Dio's "Egypt (The Chains Are On)" I'm a big Dio fan too, but I would buy that album just for that one song!

    Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Still HEAVY after all these years!!.......2005-07-26

To anyone familiar with the Metal of the mid-80's, the name Warlock stood for the lone female voice amid a sea of pathetic male screamers who couldn't carry a tune in a lead bucket. Doro Pesch proved to the world that women could F*@~#!G ROCK, paving the way for all the alterna-rock girls out there today. Well, all those other girls are still light-years behind Doro!!
"Fight" is the best hard-rock album I've heard since Queensryche's "Operation: Mindcrime" or her "Love Me In Black" album! This CD kicks ass from the opening note all the way to the end, including the ballads, so I won't bother with a song-by-song description - every one's a gem! At age 38 Doro Pesch is still in awesome form, both physically & vocally, her lyrics are as intelligent & powerful as ever, & the band is still hot!
Considering the scatological prattle prevalent on the airwaves in 2002, this should have topped every rock station's playlist, but was completely overlooked in the States. Don't continue to be a victim of The American Corporate Music Machine - buy any or all of Doro's CD's & TURN YOUR RADIO OFF ONCE & FOR ALL! Your eardrums - & your brain - will thank you!!

    3 out of 5 stars A middling release that's for sure........2006-06-20

Treading water in the mid 90's and fighting a rearguard action for some way of stopping her fanbase leaving her behind Doro tried to get a new fanbase. This is a pretty weak Doro album and the fact that it was also released as an electric mix version sort of tells you that this was an attempt by Doro to be 'industrial'. Not a great idea.

Anyway, it's not all bad. This album shows Doro firing away with some fairly sexual lyrics and that's something she'd not done before so there is some growth here. And helped by the production of Jack Ponti the guitars really do crunch, the music is kept simple and that actually creates a sense of space in the mix for Doros' distinctive voice to inhabit.

Alas for Doro fans the problem here is one of sparsity of decent tunes. The lead cut is well suited to it's pole position, overt sexuality and simplistic yet driving music hammering home the point. The title track placed at #4 is also very cool, another simple but effective tune and to the point lyrics. The drama here is that there are so few worthy tracks.

I've given this 3 stars due to the attempt to try new things, the nice production and the couple of barnstorming tracks.

    4 out of 5 stars doro.......2000-07-20

even though i miss the warlock years, i am still in love with doro. nearly everything she puts out is great and this one is another good buy for any fan, or even someone who's never heard her beautiful voice.

      5 out of 5 stars Another Gem!!!.......2006-01-28

If you thought Lita Ford was good, wait 'til you hear this!
The High Priestess of Metal's 1993 release is a true classic. Every tune, every riff, every scream hits home on this one. As usual, Doro's vocals & lyrics put all the other Metal-Queen-wannabe's to shame, & the band is just as hot as ever. Oh, by the way, THIS ISN'T EVEN HER BEST RECORD!!! I'll never understand how she's been overlooked by the American music media, which is why I don't listen to the radio, watch MTV or VH-1 or read Rolling Stone.
Throw away your Alanis cd's & listen to some REAL music by a REAL singer with REAL TALENT!! Every Doro song is better than any Joan Jett album, so why waste your time? Unless you like American Idol - I'll let you go back to your Madonna videos!

      5 out of 5 stars Doro Rocks!.......2002-07-04

This is another awesome Doro album. My favorite tunes are So Alone Together and Born To Bleed. The whole album is killer.

5 out of 5 stars METAL LIVES IN THE HEART OF DORO.......2000-03-30

This is just one of the fantastic albums by DORO. From the first cut to the last this is pure heaven. Doro sings with passion, the guitars are played with heart and soul, and the drums pound out a feverish beat. This is not for the "canned crowd of radio listeners". If your looking for exceptional Rock, then this is a must have............and if you want more, you gotta get LOVE ME IN BLACK, which was released April 98' And for more, just type Doro Pesch into any search engine..........you might get lucky and hear some clips from the New Jersey Metal Fest featuring DORO peforming a duet with Ronnie James DIO......call your local radio station, tell them to lose the play list, and put DORO on the airwaves.......only the strong at heart DJ's will listen.....if your local station has a request line....flood it with requests of DORO......

5 out of 5 stars Who says Metal died out in 1992?.......1998-11-09

Listen up WARLOCK & DORO fans... buy this album! This 1993 release shows that Heavy Metal was still alive and beating after the Grunge & Alternative revolution of 1992! Doro comes back with a powerhouse punch, in this guitar ripping and catchy melody filled album. Born to Bleed, Bad Blood and Keeping My Eye On You are the pillars of this well produced album. It's bring tears to your eyes, flutters to your heart and a spotlight to your love life. In other words... BUY IT!!!

5 out of 5 stars Doro on time!.......2006-02-03

I have looked for several years in to replacing my Doro tape onto CD. Not only did I find it here at a great price (compaired to my local record shop and paying way too much!) I received it with in three days of ordering it! I have been blasting my poor little car to the hilt with it!!
I have to say thanks for such promptness and I plan on ordering more from here in the future!!!
      Aces in my book!

Originally released in 1990,'Doro' was Doro Pesch's second solo effort.Doro's solo work isn't as good as her former band she once fronted,Warlock(see my review of their 'True As Steel' CD)but she does give us fans her 'all' she has to give.Key tracks on this disc are "Rock You",her cover of the Electric Prune's "I Had Too Much To Drink"(decently done),"Something Wicked" and "Broken".Good 'girl metal' to be experienced here.I saw Doro play a club on this very tour and even met her after the gig.Believe me,she's JUST as hot as she is in her videos and on the CD covers.Bite me!Might appeal to fans of Runaways,Y&T,Girlschool and The Pandoras.

4 out of 5 stars Rock on, Doro Pesch!.......2005-07-08

Doro's second solo album was her most successful solo album...the songs are like Warlock's slowers...and hard rock songs. The opener "Unholy Love", "Ride"Warlock", "Rare Diamond", , "Only You", "I'll Be Holding on", and "Broken" are ballads or power ballads they probably would say, There's also heavy hard rock songs "I Had Too Much to Dream, "Rock on", "Something Wicked This Way Comes", "Alive", and "Mirage", Doro is one of the best female hard rock vocalists ever. Doro's songs has an important message althogh it may sound quite creepy sometimes (Something wicked going on...."Something Wicked This Way Comes..."). I don't like NIN and I don't like this song too.
Stars: Rare Diamond, Rock On, I'll Be Holding on, I Had Too Much to Dream

      5 out of 5 stars Doro's last American attempt.......2004-03-25

After disbanding Warlock, Doro went on to release two solo albums available in the states. At the time I bought this album (on cassette) it was all I listened to for weeks. This is a great album from start to finish. 'Rock On', 'I Had Too Much to Dream', and 'Something Wicked this way Comes' all should have been singles on the radio. But this album didn't make any waves so back to Germany Miss Doro went where she is popular, adored, and successful. Just like Motorhead and Iron Maiden, Doro is a European treasure that was never really understood or embraced here in the states.

So why then can't a talanted and sexy singer in a metal outfit make it in the states? I think it's because for the most part Americans are wimps. They'll listen to bubblegum crap like Britney Spears and other no talant hacks, but when it comes to real singing and real beauty, America folds. So if you want a singer with a voice as strong as Pat Benatar and music as hard as rock, then you need to introduce yourself to the world of Doro.

5 out of 5 stars The Queen of Metal.......1999-07-07

This CD like all Doro and Warlock is just absolutely ass-kickin' metal. That's the way it is, this is not for the weak, or for the timid. And if you want more, then check out something a little different from Doro, Love Me In Black, which is her latest release. Once you listen to Doro, you will never be the same, and you will never get enough......
