Others have done it much better.......2004-12-23

I occasionally like to purchase used cds through the amazon marketplace (usually very inexpensive) with little forknowledge of the music other than a reference review on the All Music Guide site. In the case here, AMG reviewed it as a *** cd, describing it as unique (though not exceptional) sounding mix (ie "stew")of metal-sludge-southern rock. I figured what the heck and purchased this for a few bucks.
I was not impressed at all.The band credits some influences as Crowbar, Pantera, Eye Hate God,and the likes (they hail from Lousiana).
Whatever. The vocalist sounds like a one-dimentional croaking frog and becomes irritating very quick; the guitar is barely heard over a repetative blast of bass and drums (the drums sound kinda cool though).The lyrics? eh.
All in all, STRESSBALL's gotta way to go before they move UP to average...I believe they've already disbanded anyway. Save your money.

this album suprises you, like who the hell is stressball and why are they kicking the crap out of my speakers? A+ hard core stuff I salute them, wish they would play somewhere close by looks like those dudes would have some good smoke...!
