4 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Rock .......2007-05-12

I don't care what people say...This rocks. I mean some of the lyrics get a little too harsh for me.....but overall pretty good album. Love to listen with the windows down in the car.

5 out of 5 stars This is a MUST-HAVE!.......2006-07-03

When this band first started, they were...how do I put it? They were a joke. They were just having fun, playing around, that sort of thing. They didn't seem very serious about what they were doing. This album, All That Remains, changes everything. It shows just how much they've improved and evolved, and... It rocks! The songs are all pretty great. I try to choose one as a favorite but (as corny as this is going to sound) they all have this special place in my heart, lol! I can say that the best three songs on there are All That Remains, The Way I Am, and Wanderlust. I can't go one day without listening to at least one of those songs. Chris Jericho has amazing vocal skills. His voice is just awesome, which surprises me. He's always been just a wrestler to me --my favorite wrestler, but just a wrestler-- and then I listened to this and realized just how talented he is! I could go on all day about how fantastic this cd is, but who really wants to read that? I'll just end it with this. This cd is AWESOME, so if you don't have it now, GET IT! As for me, I'm gonna SPREAD THE FOZZPEL and anxiously wait around anticipating their next CD!

5 out of 5 stars Fozzy kicks ass and Jericho is the king of the world!.......2005-10-06

Awesome CD! This has probably one the best heavymetal heavy metal history, also one of the best bands. Every single track in this album is amazing! My favorites are NAMELESS/FACELESS, ENEMY, and LAZARUS.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to say to Fozzy... I'm a HUGE ROCK FAN!

5 out of 5 stars FOZZY! (Yes, there singer is a wrestler).......2005-09-17

When Fozzy put out there first cd it took people by surprise. A singing wrestler! Most people thought it was just a gimmick to get money and cd sales. People listened to it and gave it a chance, and they realized that Chris Jericho could actually sing!

Fozzy released there second cd " Happenstance ". Yes, it was covers of other band's songs. But a few songs was Fozzy's own material. Fozzy finished off the cd with an AMAZING cover of Iron Maiden's " Where Eagles Dare ".

And here we are. There third cd: All That Remains. So how is this one you ask? No covers. Yes you heard me right, NO COVERS! It's all Fozzy's own songs. Chris Jericho's vocals are some of the best I've ever heard. Who expected the guy we see on Monday Night Raw every week to be so good at singing hard rock?! The singing blew me away, I couldn't believe it.

There is much more than singing though. After all, Chris isn't the only one in the band. Let's move on to their guitarist Rich Ward. He is perfect for the band. Head banging guitar riffs that mix perfectlly with the drums. I seriously believe he could be the next Kirk Hammett.

The bass on this cd is excellent. Not much more to add to that. It's perfect.

Overall, if you're looking for a great hard rock/metal cd, then this is definently the one. And Chris Jericho fans. If you've never heard him sing then you have to pick up a copy of All That Remains and hear for yourself, just how amazing he is.

What are you still thinking about it for? GET UP AND ORDER THIS RIGHT NOW! Yes, I see you taking out your credit card....yes you're about to order it......(3 days later). You: " YEAH I GOT MY FOZZY CD! WOW THAT GUY ON AMAZON WAS TELLING THE TRUTH! THIS CD IS AMAZING!"

There's not much room in the world for a sub-par Spinal Tap ... unless it's in the anything-sells world of professional wrestling. And Fozzy, a mostly fictional band fronted by the very real wrestler Chris Jericho (in the persona of singer Mongoose McQueen), will likely find an audience only inside WWF arenas. Not that the band Fozzy, rounded out by the real rock/metal lineup of Stuck Mojo, with alter-egos such as KK La Flame and the Kidd, is bad. In fact, they're an adequate cover band serving up decent renditions of second-echelon songs from top-drawer metal bands. Tunes by the Scorpions, Dio, Judas Priest, Motley Crue, Ozzy Osbourne, and Krokus are Fozzy-ized, topped with Jericho/McQueen's slightly irritating, high, pop-leaning metal vocals. Like Spinal Tap, the band is an elaborate ruse with an extensive fake history, only sans the humor. Yes, old-school metal is as over the top as wrestling. And yes, the Jericho association might sell albums. But on their own merit, Fozzy will likely amuse only rabid wrestling fans. --Katherine Turman

1 out of 5 stars Stupid Wrestlers wanna be Singer?.......2006-05-23

I can not believe how many people are saying that this is a 'real metal' album or even a 'good album'. This album sucks so much that after i heard it i wanted my 60 minutes of life back that i wasted. I was hoping it would get better as the songs progress but it didnt!

If you don't believe me then get this used somewhere for like 50cents and listen to it.

Ozzy is a god among mortals and shouldnt be disgraced by this dumbass.

BTW: 1990 just called and they want their dumb asses who use the word 'u' instead of 'you' because they are soo l33te. Keyboards have 104 keys or more, try using them!

5 out of 5 stars Katherine Thurman Is A Retard.......2005-09-02

The girl obviously knows nothing about rock music, so we'll just try n ignore her lame review for now. All that needs to be said is that Fozzy rock. Jericho is a great singer and the music they produce is top quality. All 3 of their albums are brilliant. Take it from me, someone who lives for rock music, that Fozzy are one of the greatest. Get all their cds quick!

4 out of 5 stars Fozzy is in the early Spinal Tap stage..........2005-08-15

For those of you who probably read my review of Fozzy's "All That Remains," I had become interested in the band because of Chris Jericho being the vocalist, and being a "Jerichoholic" myself (although I refuse to watch WWE anymore), I wanted to check this band out. I had heard "Happenstance" before the other two, and bought "All That Remains" when it came out. Not long after that was when I purchased their debut album from 2000, and here is where the spoof begins. By spoof, I mean that the band (which is also partially the rap-metal band Stuck Mojo) originally started out as. Much like Spinal Tap, the story of Fozzy goes that they spent the last 20 years in Japan being megastars and once they return to America, they realize that many famous artists have ripped off their songs! Naturally, this isn't to be taken seriously, just a funny concept with which to shell out some cover songs and two of their own.

The album kicks off with their cover of Dio's Stand Up and Shout, an awesome anthemic rocker from one of Metal's greatest bands. One of their best covers by far. They also do outstanding covers of Krokus' Eat the Rich (with some particularly good vocals from Chris Jericho here), Ozzy's Over the Mountain, and Twisted Sister's Stay Hungry. Their most perfect cover, I think, is their version of Motley Crue's Live Wire, with everyone in fine form (they even got the solos right here). The Scorpions cover Blackout is not that great, but decent overall. The only ones I was disappointed with were their covers of Iron Maiden's The Prisoner (although it had a funny intro making fun of the original show) and Judas Priest's Riding on the Wind, which sounded really lame to me. The original song was rich and heavy; their cover sounds static and sparse.

The two "original" songs of theirs are End of Days and Feel the Burn. Feel the Burn is the only indication that they would adopt the modern metal sound later on (when they turn into a serious rock band), and it's a decent rocker. End of Days is a classic, 80's sounding metal tune which fits in perfectly with the cover songs. It makes me wonder why they didn't include more like this on the album, or even why they didn't produce any more songs like this on "All That Remains."

Overall, I find their debut to be a decent CD from Jericho and the boys, although I found their later albums to be more required. Still, for what it's worth, it's a decent cover disc, and the band would ultimately improve on their next album, "Happenstance."

5 out of 5 stars WRONGS have been righted........2005-01-27

FOzzy are back from their 20 year imprisonment in japan and still rockin' hard. they have come back with a vengence showing up the people who stole their songs. THis album is reeks of awesomeness. Moongoose has a great voice and lung capacity to hold that note so long at the end of stand up and shout. BUY this album to expirience tru metal.

5 out of 5 stars L.O.V.E. MACHINE!!!.......2006-10-31

I've been a wrestling fan all my life and when I first heard Chris make mention of a band, I thought he was joking. Then I heard him say he had put some songs together with members of the band Stuck Mojo. I still thought it was a joke. I knew the Stuck Mojo boys were affiliated with WCW a few years back, and their music wasn't the deepest by any stretch, but it was still catchy. Well, my first Fozzy album was Happenstance and I was blown away by their ability to cover these great classics, and cover them well (believe it or not). Granted, these are like the 3rd or 4th singles from these bands, but they're those hidden gems that are rarely found and that turn out to be great tunes. My only concern was Chris's singing. I've heard him whine and cry on TV as a wrestler, but when he puts the notes together, it makes you wonder of the possibilities. I saw him not too long ago on some singing with the stars show and the idiotic judge said he didn't see Chris ever fronting a band. Well sir, he does indeed front a band and that band is called Fozzy. Funny name, but a great sound.

4 out of 5 stars The Next Big Thing?.......2006-01-03

Fozzy are a great band that started out a strictly covers, but now have released a new album full of their own material, All That Remains. On this album Fozzy play songs by Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, The Scorpions, Iron Maiden, WASP, and Accept. Their are also 4 original songs and a neat instrumental intro. This album is also enhanced. If you put this in your computer you can see a photo gallery and a live video for Balls To The Wall. The singer, Mongoose McQueen, is actually WWE wrestler Chris Jericho, and boy can he belt it out. Fans of Dio and Accept should give this album a spin.

5 out of 5 stars Astonishing.......2004-12-06

This album far surpasses their first. To kill a stranger is one of the best songs I've ever heard. Happenstance, With The Fire, and Crucify Yourself are some real metal masterpieces. The covers topple the the originals. WARNING: DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO EXPIERENCE SOME REAL METAL MAYHEM!

5 out of 5 stars Super-cranked music done right.......2004-05-08

Great album!! I've been listening to hard rock, heavy metal, whatever you want to call it, for 35 years. Not much catches my ear these days, and I've had it with the angry posturing nu-metal boys. When Happenstance (the song) was played my local metal station, I was immediately taken by it, and had to call the station to see who it was! This is a straight up effort of great musicianship. It has power, art, emotion, and you just want to crank it up. We need more music like this. Great job to all concerned!

4 out of 5 stars More than mear happenstance.......2004-03-05

Rockers alike, try a bit of Fozzy in your CD player.
The music in general is excellent, giving a rush of adrenaline to the listener. I particularly recommend "To Kill A Stranger" off the CD.

      Album Description

2002 album for the long neglected U.S. metal act. The story goes...Fozzy signed to a Japanese label over 20 years ago. The label went bankrupt & the band was stranded in Japan where they all found menial jobs to bankroll their heavy metal dreams. Bootlegs & demos found their way to the rest of the world, inspiring the NWOBHM movement etc & heavy metal legends falsely claimed Fozzy songs as their own. Fozzy have returned to set the record straight.
