This album is awsome. It has a great variety of songs that I grew up with and have not heard in a long time. If you grew up in the 80's, this is a CD that you will love to put in and listen to time and time again.

WOWÉ. What a breath of FRESH MUSIC for your EARS! No disrespect to what's been out on the charts so far but it's always great to hear real music by real catz singing and playing their instruments. Each of the tracks has something for everybody from the lovers to the smooth funky rockers. Man....once people get a taste of this new Shampen & the Chill CD, I know it's going to the top of the charts. I heard the CD is selling like HOT CAKES, so I have a few copies because I know it won't be long before someone tells me the CD is SOLD OUT! Word to the Wise! Get your copy soon.... It's a must have!

"On The Way To Heaven", "Love With You", "Here's A Tear From Me To You", "Stay With Me Tonight", and "If I Had To Do It Again" are songs with lots of heart, melody and soul. These songs are perfect for that intimate mood. Shampen's warm voice has a distinctive richness that reminds me of a young Isaac Hayes.

Looking for R E A L flavor "Shampen & The Chill" is giving it to you. Personally I like fat bass and Fat Bass is one of the elements I hear. Vocals lay right over it and fits right in the mix. You can tell "The Chill", are seasoned professionals and they accommodated the vision Shampen has put forth. Very inspiring! Of course this is Real Song Writing and not just a beat with some words slapped on it. What do you get when you buy this album? Something Real! Something fun! Something for everyone! Check it out...

My wife often listens to this CD. That says a lot right there. I have many self produced CDs, but when I want to show somebody what can be done, I put on this CD. However, this is not just a collection of well produced tracks, these are songs with heart and melody and a soulfulness that sticks.
