dealing with this band I must say they are intelligent just watch gummo and feel the sound track... I did I can't tell you its great only you will come to that conclusion so give it a chance...

Sweden's Nifelheim is back having left Necropolis Records, ditched a couple of members because they were tame enough to have girlfriends, seen a couple of Dissection members come and go, endured jail time, participated in another project called Pagan Rites and Headbangers Against Disco 7 inch, and after all this they're still delivering the most no-frills Black Thrash Metal since the first three Bathory and first two Sodom releases. A Nifelheim album sounds like three Swedish necrophiliacs have rushed a studio, bashed the equipment at 200kph and captured a disparate Black Metal attack promoting primitive hate on tape. 9 tracks. This is definately Sweden's best extreme Metal band, right next to Dissection and Marduk. The whole thing is a total assault of Raw Black Metal mixed with the craziness of old 80's Thrash. The second album, "Devil's Force" is even better, but this one is essential as well!

This CD is great, I bought it when it first came out from Necropolis a few years ago and I really loved it. I come from the Hardcore Bay Area Metal Scene, its pretty hardcore out here. All the Pantytera Lamers/etc are just posers. Nifelheim is one of the few truly evil bands out there, Typhon mentioned he thought this was one of the best CD's out there when I bought it. So if you like hardcore metal, BUY THIS NOW!
