Along with the likes of X JAPAN, SEIKIMA-II should be praised as one of the greatest Japanese heavy metal acts of all time! Their music although never keeping to a single sub-genre of metal, blends the styles of power and speed metal with traditional heavy metal. Unfortunately SEIKIMA-II have never caught on much in popularity beyond Japan mainly due to their diverse and very unique Japanese style. For these same reasons the band has not yet become well known outside of their home country, which is truly a shame because a band like this really deserves much praise.

The 1999 Blood List is a compilation album that was released in 1999, of which later that same year the band would oficially disband before releasing their last studio album. Following soon after the compilation that came before it, 1999 Black List, this album compiles 15 years of some of the bands greatest works. The album combines their heavier songs with some of the lighter ballads. The vocals and instrumental work here are top-notch and truly show off the extent of musical skill Demon Kogure and the rest of the band have. With songs like "roh-ningyou no yakata" (House of the Wax Dolls), "THE END OF THE CENTURY", "yuugai ROCK", "BIG TIME CHANGES", and "seishin no kuromaku ~LIBIDO~", this album is a must-have for any SEIKIMA-II fan and especially anyone who hasn't heard this incredible band yet. Definitely a recommended buy.

If you're a Seikima II fan, this is a good one to get. Then again, if you're new to this unique yet, quite talented heavy metal band from Japan, this might be a good one to get as well. It's a "best of" collection from their 15+ years that covers quite a bit of ground. The lead singer, Demon Kogure, has a great voice and range and you can really get a good feel of what this band is about.

A definite "must buy" for new fans as an introduction to the band, and also for the older fans, just so we can have some of their biggest hits in one nice CD.

This is another classic example of Sekima II's timeless music. There are several slower songs on this, a rare peek into their "calm" side. A must for all Seikimatsu fans. I say buy it. :o)
