You should try and buy all 4 as they are worth your money.
If only everyone was this good..........2000-12-17
This CD is the best one in my collection, which is really saying something, as I've got a pretty big collection. From the opening track, Dead in the Dirt, right through to Someday, Dreadnaught pound out sweet melodies and heavy riffs to the greatest effect. The vocals can be understood without the lyrics sheet (this seems to be a major achievement these days) and the singing is done with emotion. Greg can put you on your feet like he does in Game, or bring you to your knees as in Blue. The guitar-work is brilliant, addictive and good to listen to. It manages to be professional (ie: it's not Limp Bizkrap), and isn't boring (ie: it's not Steve Vai). I'm amazed these guys haven't become more well-known, they have the potential to dethrone Metallica. If you only ever buy one CD, make it this one.

An absolute masterpiece.......2000-10-23
This CD is the best one in my collection, which is really saying something, as I've got a pretty big collection. From the opening track, Dead in the Dirt, right through to Someday, Dreadnaught pound out sweet melodies and heavy riffs to the greatest effect. The guitar-work is top-notch, as is the bass, vocals and keyboards. The drumming is a little lackluster, but the CD is still a masterpiece. I can't recommend this enough. If you only ever buy one CD, make sure it's this one.

Amazing CD.......2006-07-27
So take Jim from Strung Out, Milo Todesco from Down by law, and John McCree from War called peace, and you got Zero Down. This CD is an amazing release. I would write a longer review, but I want to keep this one short and sweet.13 Songs of raw melodic/skate punk. Being eighteen I can really take songs like "Going Nowhere" and feel exactly how Jim does. Every song on here is just a masterpiece. Catchy, with good lyrics. If you're a fan of punk music, be sure to get this CD. One of fat's best releases. It's wicked.
R.I.P
Jim Cherry.
Thanks.
Great melodic punk........2003-06-13
This is a good album on a lot of levels, even beyond the fact that the songs are catchy, have good melodies, are creative, and the musicians are all very good.
On this album you will find some of the most uplifting and inspiring lyrics, over top of fast, energetic, and catchy skate punk songs. These are the songs that put a smile on your face and you sing to yourself for days.
On this album you will also find some of the most depressing, downbeat punk songs ever recorded. On the songs like "Everybody's Whore", Jim puts so much into his vocals that the effect is just spine chilling. With his voice he can pull you down into his world, of hopelessness and despair.
And also, there are angered songs about the state of society in America, statements of much needed change.
This cd shows the great person Jim Cherry was, a great song writer and musician, also, a very diverse person, that could be both very optimistic and pessimistic, but more importantly, always thoughful, and it shows through his lyrics.
Jim will always be remembered for his work in Pulley and Strung Out, but he will be most remembered for putting out this album, a
testament to the hard times he faced, and his determination to overcome them.
R.I.P.

Great thought-provoking, ...-off-at-the-status-quo punk.......2003-02-25
Like other reviews say, this band has ex-members of Strung Out and Pulley, 2 amazing punk bands. The talent that they brought to those former bands was definitely carried over to Zero Down. This band, who is in total obscurity, has put out an amazing cd, and it's a shame that not more punk fans don't know about it. Some of the most intelligent lyrics I have ever heard in a cd. If smart lyrics are your thing, this cd scores an A+. But it doesn't stop there. The catchy melodies are present throughout, and you won't take this cd out of your cd player for a long time. This cd has a constant style but it doesn't get old. They vary song length also. Song 12, "The Best" is barely over a minute long, but I consider it a stand-out song. If you like the bands that the members of this band were in previously, the odds are that you will enjoy this cd tremendously.
AWESOME.......2002-07-24
zero down has ex members of pulley, down by law, and strung out so you know it has to be good. In fact this is probably one of the best CDs i ever bought, every track is great with terrific music and thougt provoking lyrics this is a must own.
Flat out perfect.......2001-03-21
Being that Strung Out was my favorite band, its just natural that I love this band. Every single track flat out rocks! Once you hear it, you will understand just how perfect this CD is. Buy this CD, right now, DO NOT WASTE ANOTHER SECOND!
