Whoa! Leaders not Followers Part 2 is leaps and bounds better than the previous installment. For one, it's like 3X longer there are 19 tracks and no let down...at all. I loved the first Leaders album but there were so many other songs that I would have loved ND to cover. Well, this is a metal historians dream from Discharge to Siege to Agnostic Front, Hellhammer, Cryptic Slaughter, Devastation, Die Kreuzen...the list goes on and on. Barney's voice sounds rawer than ever as he dominates on every track but particularly Lowlife, Night of Pain and Clangor of War. Sepultura is also represented here with Troops of Doom, one of my all-time favorites. The ND version easily smokes the Sepultura version in terms of sheer intensity. Shane, Mitch and Jesse seem to have recharged and reloaded, this is some of the fastest playing I've heard from them. Danny's drumming is outstanding especially when he's blasting. But the true star of Leaders Not Followers 2 is Barney. The music itself is jawdropping but adding his amazing vox on top simply makes Napalm Death the best there is. This is undoubtedly one of the most brutal albums ND has ever produced and one of the best. Buy this NOW!!!!!!!!
