The Wild Heavy Metal Power Trio made their best cd! I think there are two brothers that formed a power trio named "Raven", they are from Newcastle, England. Vocals and bass guitar - John Gallagher and lead guitar - Mark Gallagher. They played like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath as Thrash Metal. This cd music goes like "bang, bang, kabooms!" John Gallagher scream that sounded like Robert Plant scream. It's a FUN, ENERGIZED, LOUD, FUNNY CD you are going to enjoy it!!!

I was very surprised to see no reviews for this classic NWOBHM album(CD). This was one of the craziest trios to play at this time. An excellent and underrated group that really gave 150% when recording and giving a live performance. High energy vocals and a brutal guitarist with, I believe, Rob "Wacko" Hunter on drums. They never made it to the mainstream but were a very influential band for the time. Now that I think about it, I'm glad that they did'nt "make it" because they probably would have sold out. A must have for any 80's underground metal fan.

    Pretty good stuff. Strangely named band for a bunch of male rock'n rollers somewhat (for lack of better comparison) "Springsteeny" with cup of Allmans. Surely has nothing to do with Louisa May Alcott's novel? David Lindley appears on one cut and, indeed, that made me remember that the reggae and shuffling sounds here smack of some of "The King of Polyester's" aggregations. Ian "Small Face" MacLagan also chips in some great organ. Not many liner notes so I really don't know origins of the band's moniker.

      This one has 16 tracks, not 12 like Amazonn lists. Definately a classic 300 mph thrash masterpiece.
