Herod is brilliant and intelligent metal for the future.......2004-05-26

I have to say that I am impressed with this cd after hearing it ten times this weekend alone. Herod are a brilliant band with alot of potential. The guitar work is incredible with plenty of razor sharp hooks and melodies and the singer is great as well.They show case the evolution of metal and just what we are to expect from metal bands to come in the new millenium. My only real beef with this album( which is the reason I gave it four stars) was that there was a couple of songs that I didn't agree with and probably wouldn't be caught dead listening to but, besides that I thoroughly enjoyed this particular album and do recommend it for anybody with an open mind and a genuine appreciation for good music.

Good hard rock music, fun to listen to, before you know it you're singing along. Songs range from a heavy Dream Theater to a good Danzing to a wild thrash metal. Worth a listen.
