Customer Reviews:
Great cover.......2007-04-18
Great cover, I have a shirt of it. The album...well it just plain sucks.
What the hell is this?!.......2006-08-01
Mortician may very well be the worst death metal band ever. The vocals are some of the worst attempts at growling that i've ever heard. The guitar consists of repeated chords with distortion and no solos. Bass?! Hah, that's a good one. There is no drummer because they use a drum machine, which shows that they are lazy. The horror film clips in their songs end up being longer than the songs themselves. This band has to be a joke. For good death metal, listen to the bands marxist matt listed.
This Band Must Retire Immediately.......2006-07-05
Yes, all of the one star reviews of this "album" are justified. It's that bad. If you enjoy Cannibal Corpse, this may be your cup of tea. For Death Metal with TALENT, please ditch this and check out Death, Nile, Cryptopsy, Suffocation, Morbid Angel, etc., just to name a worthy few.
Jesus..........2006-06-05
You guys are convincing enough to make me wanna buy this... Quit wasting your time making reviews, if anyone is smart they wouldnt listen to all of your infantile legless opinions.
People who mock what helped create a genre.......2006-05-17
This is a band who started way back in the early 80's strayin from mainstream and helped create a grind death metal scene back when they were called casket. The object of mortician is to be extreme as possible. For all those who think Morticianis a bunch of idiots I have shared there company been to there house.Roger the guitarest can make anyone look like a fool on guitar if these people who mock mortician bothered to look into other projects(Primitive Brutality,Malignancy) of theres you would see how rediculously talented they are.Mortician just takes simplicity and play it as fast as they can. This album actually does have structure catches you at points in certain songs its a good album. This album influenced dying fetus. If u don't think so look it up plus the singer is wearing this albums shirt in a music video.SO if u wanna be an idiot make fun of a band that has probably influenced the band you listen to go ahead but for all the appreciative metal listeners this is a good start for the extreme stuff.
