    4 out of 5 stars A Rip Off That's Worth It.......2003-07-18

I was severly disappointed to find that this album was only 10 minutes long after paying full price for it. I wouldn't call this black metal either. I've heard it refered to as "folk" on multiple occasions though. After I got over my initial rage, which took several weeks, I decided that I really like both songs on the album and wanted to purchase another, and so I did. The music itself is inclusive of many keyboards, acoustic guitars (I think) and average drumming with decent bass production. If you can get over the price of the album for 10 minutes of music, and you like this sort of black/folk/metal, then you should be happy.

5 out of 5 stars Just about the perfect release..........2001-08-20

Ahh, yes, epic, sad black metal flooded with layered keyboards. I can't get enough of this. This is definitely a progression from their first album, with all the members having improved their skill. The music leans more towards the black metal realm this time, with wailing, sad vocals in the vein of Grishnakh from Burzum. There is little left of the spoken parts, but they are there, and used more wisely and sparingly, as are the female vocals. The only thing that holds this back from being perfect is its length. This thing is only about 11 and a half minutes!! If only they had added a couple more songs to make this a full length... This is made worse by the fact that their next album is gothic techno, so we will hear no more of this beautiful style. Still, the length is unimportant once you hear the epic greatness of these two songs. ESSENTIAL for all black metal fans and music fans alike.
