Surprising good.......2006-01-02

I really disliked the last release. This one sounds more like Labyrinth and flows so well. The singer is great, I understand people have different taste but to say this guy is annoying is out of line. If you liked Olaf's prior work, you will like this cd.

I bought this power metal cd just because of Olaf Thorsen,he is so good at guitar(shredder).Olaf is the one who formed the band Labyrinth.This album is crap,the singer Michele Luppi sucks,his voice is so annoying.The keyboards are awful.There is one good song on the album and it's Out Of The Maze,the singing sucks on the song of course but the guitar playing is awesome.The song
Out Of The Maze is about Labyrinth.This band is from Italy.
Don't buy this crapy album.

EXCELLENT POWER METAL WITH EMPHASIS IN POWER.......2005-08-25

I'm a real sucker for great vocalists and here you have one of the best in the genre.Vision Divine showed promise and potential in the debut album and erase them on their second album.Now, without Fabio Leone on vocals i thought they were done for good, dead.But to my surprise, i am glad i give them another chance.In this work the vocalist is even better than Fabio and the songs are not only their best yet but they are also one of the best in the whole power metal genre! The production is crystal clear and the power showcased here mixed with the magnificent and memorable hooks and choruses is like hearing a perfected version of Europe in it's prime.Perfected meaning that Vision Divine are better musicians and they add also a touch of prog in their songs for good measure.Highlights are: Versions Of The Same (it could be a hit!!); La Vita Fugge; Out Of The Maze and The Secret Of Life.
Masterful piece of music..Highly Recommended!

The music is great, combined with lead vocals that will remember you the great heavy metal bands but with lyrics to make your spirit grow.

Great CD.......2005-08-02

This band is a definite must have in anyone's prog metal collection. Very heavy emphasis on accentuation and fantastic melodies. Vocals on this album are absolutely insane. 24 second note solo is where it is at.

The only drawbacks I see is that like any prog act, it sounds very similar to other's before it, but the rhythmic qualities and harmonies make this album stand out. Lyrics can be deep at times but also seem odd word choices. Also the vocals although absolutely amazing are definitely a reminder of the 80's keyboard bands. As great as they are, they stand out a bit too much.

Great new artist.......2004-05-10

I first heard Jenny live at the Red River Revel in Shreveport, Louisiana last October (2003). It was a stunniong performance. I purchased both her CD's on site, and discovered that, while the live performance was wonderful, the poor acoustics at the festival had obscured her ability. The intelligent lyrics and the sophisticated construction of the music with great melodies and classic rock rhythms was exciting. I find impossible to decide which album I prefer. While her second album is more professional, the simplicity of the first album is compelling. Regardles, she is for me, the best new artist of 2003.

There are some great songs on this CD, especially "Music to my Ears" and "Fairy Tale" but it is the feeling of her vocals that make this CD really special. Jenny is a thoughtful lyricist, writes beautiful melody, and brings a freshness in both her style and approach. This is a superb CD by a talented performer: Order it today!

I put Jenny Bruce's CD into my player and listened over and over and over again. She has a very "real" and wonderful voice and her lyrics have a true to life feeling to them. There isn't a bad song on the album.I love them all and can't wait for the next album to arrive

This album is by far the most original and creative i've ever heard. Killer basslines and clever drumming accompanied by blasting lyrics/vocals and feisty guitar riffs. Hear this and everything else will seem dull and unchallenging (like Korn, Disturbed, Godsmack) You will want to hear more creative music such as this and progress in todays music which seems to have regressed to elementary guitar riffs (due to the lack of musicality and more emphasis on looks over talent) and talentless hip shaking hip hop rockers and Afro posers who want to relive a past image that is not of their own creation. All 4 albums from these guys are all different and i admire their willingess to change and be creative. Get this and listen very closely, that's the sound that will NEVER be duplicated again!

cryptic slaughters stream of consciousness was an ablum not given enuff credit band breaks up a month into us tour and this disc was lost not in my mind thou there best effort in my ears but who am i listen 4 urself and u shall hear it 1st hand its bone crushin ram it down ur throat thrashcore/speedmetal punk never have heard anything thing close 2 it it needs 2 be rereleased many r missin out n shouldnt have 2 it was a sad day when original lineup disband but at least we have something 2 listen 2
