Customer Reviews:
Good job.......2000-06-18
Well....many might say this is just another tribute album but...this one isn't! I'm sure those of you reading this review know quiet a bit (atleast!) about Ozzy and co. so they're familiar with the songe here. Now if they're expecting to hear bands that will pull off the songs the same as ozzy then they're mistaken. In this album the vocals are mainly (in a way) death/black metal however they fit and go along with song. they don't 'destroy' the music or sound louder than the guitars (which is what happens with most death/metal bands these days) so all in all this is a good tribute and like I said if you appreciate musicianship you'll love this one. All the bands are excellent musicians and some do add their touch to the songs (personaly I don't like that!) but they won't disappoint you. So go get it and expand your horizons cause believe it or not there are some really good death metal bands out there. I'm not promoting death metal here just good music whatever it might be. Thank you
