Via their recordings, these self-described "scumdogs of the universe" purvey lo-fi punk-thrash matched with equally lowbrow lyrics. Onstage, however, GWAR more effectively combine the sometimes clever, wacky, costumed look and theatrics of a Green Jello with the base grossness of the Mentors, lending GWAR tunes a turgid Technicolor life. In fact, clued-in audience members have taken to wearing garbage bags over their clothes to protect themselves from excessive stage spewage. The band's seventh album possesses redeeming factors, however, despite such puerile "songs" as "Baby Raper" and "Penile Drip." Though there are more lowlights than highlights, especially in the lyrics, GWAR actually come through a couple times. The Rob Zombie-ish ditty "Tune from the Moon" isn't bad, the slide guitar on the slow Southern-country "The Master Has a Butt" is cool, while "Mary Anne" is an almost-love song in a melodic punk vein. The barnyard noises on "F**kin' an Animal" are perversely laugh-out-loud funny-gross, yet there's also the sense of a Monty Python-like bawdy humor. We Kill Everything is rife with sicko toilet humor--literally on "Jiggle the Handle"--that is no doubt offensive to many. For good, dirty fun, however, GWAR provide a few--albeit very few--moments of lewd levity. --Katherine Turman

Gwar should get goofy again.......2006-12-15
Apparently the band are not fans of this album at all, however, I would consider it my favorite Gwar album after Scumdogs of the Universe. Gwar brought the humor up to a new level with this album as well as playing some other styles of music besides straight foward metal. The varied sound of these songs is what I like so much about it, each song has it's own slightly different style as opposed to some of the material on the follow up albums (Violence Has Arrived, War Party, Beyond Hell) which tends to sound the same some times. This was also the last Gwar album until Beyond Hell to follow a story/theme throughout the album, a concept that I missed during the albums and tours in the years following it. This is a classic that anyone who "gets" Gwar should be able to appriciate.
ONE OF THE GREATEST ALBUMS EVER!.......2004-06-24
This was the first Gwar albums I ever had. I wasn't a fan of Gwar until then. How could I have been? Hell-O came out when I was 1. I first heard this from a friend at school who later dropped out. I love this album. I originally only wanted it for the language, but when I matured and the swears weren't as funny as they used to be, I started listening to it musically. I have trouble picking one genre to call this because it transitions all over the place. I love all of the songs. I don't understand why my CD says censored version, but hey, it sounds good to me.
Truly a must have.......2003-04-08
This is my second favorite GWAR album. Next to, and by very little, Violence has Arrived. We Kill Everything gets back to the roots of Gwar. It's alot like, and better, than Scumdogs of the Universe, with more of a punk metal sound than the previous albums. It also features the new scumdog Scroda Moon and Timmy the Toilet. The highlights of this album are the title track, Escape from the Mooselodge, Jagermonsta, and Nitro Burnin' Funny Bong. Which have some of the funniest lyrics ever. I won't quote them for decency reasons. WKE even has a couple of songs sung by Slymenstra. Like the title of this review says, this is a must have for any GWAR fan.
One of my favorite Gwar albums.......2003-01-11
Truly masters of the ecclectic. They range across all the genres of music to bring us genuine quality. I can't rave enough about this album because it truly is fantastic. Enough metal, punk and a touch of ska to make just about all you underground music fans happy.

Two and three-quarters Stars.......2002-03-05
Of my Gwar albums, I listen to "We Kill Everything" the least. This punkish successor to Carnival of Chaos has some very good songs, but it's marred by a slow midsection which effectively cripples it for good. Baby-bleep, Fish-bleep, and the Performer start the album off well, but Short History, Escape from Da Mooselodge, Tune From Da Moon, and Jiggle The Handle were poorly sequenced: with the exception of the first track above, an instrumental, they are plodding concept songs and poorly mixed. It's hard to figure out what's going on, and so early into the album, their lengths brings everything to a standstill. The rest of the album is peppered with good tunes like Jagermonsta, Nitro-burnin' Funny Bong, and the insanely catchy Maryanne, but the Slymenstra song has to be one of the worst Gwar songs I've heard--it's techno and it simply FAILS. Props to Gwar for getting punkish, but thumbs down on the album's sequencing and the Gwar-lore tracks that don't really go anywhere. Worth owning, but spotty. Highlights: Babybleep, Fishbleep, Maryanne, We Kill Everything.
not as good as the others.......2002-02-17
GWAR is the best band ever!
Screw the Bible, Here comes Gwar.......2000-01-11
The gospel of Gwar speaks volumes of truth. One needs only to look to "I'm f-ing an Animal" to understand the true power of their lyrics:"I'm f-ing an animal/Animal f-er on the loose/I'm f-ing an animal/I'll go from dog to goose."Beautiful
BALSAC would be proud.......1999-12-14
We kill everything is one of the best ones yet in my mind its right up there with "scumbdogs". If you are a anarchist like me you should apreciate such twisted tracks.
ONE OF GWAR'S BEST.......1999-11-18
I don't really know why a lot of people didn't like this cd. I hold it right up there with SCUMDOGS OF THE UNIVERSE, THIS TOILET EARTH, and AMERICA MUST BE DESTROYED. It is extremely funny, especially "Fishf**k" (which unfortunatly gets stuck in my head and I start singing it unknowingly). "A Short History Of The World (Part VII (The Final Chapter (Abbr.)))" is one of the coolest songs when performed live (the theatrics are great). Highlights are "Babyraper", "Fishf**k", "A Short History Of The End Of The World...", "Tune From Da Moon", "Jiggle The Handle", and "Nitro-Burnin' Funny Bong". Though this is said to be a censored version, Gwar are just making a joke. They're saying that their music is so explicit that even their censored version has a parental advisory. This is a great cd for a punk fan, a metal fan, or anyone with a really sick sense of humor. Not for the easily-offended.
