Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A breath of fresh air........2003-11-16

The debut full length from native Daytonians Waking Kills the Dream Depending on Tommoroww is undeniabely a breath of fresh air. The vocals are penetrating and beautiful, the bass and guitars are complete with technical proficiency and harmony, and the drumming is second to none for the genre. WKTD obviously has a passion for taking heavy/melodic rock in new directions. They are doing interesting things with the form within the hardcore and pop-punk circuit. These guys have played with the likes of "New Found Glory", "Avail", "Anthrax", "Taking Back Sunday","Candiria", "All American Rejects", and "Burnt by the Sun" just to name a few. Not to mention they just finished a 2 week european tour. Wakin Kills The Dream undoubtebly has what it takes, and their success is inevitable.

4 out of 5 stars AMAZING.......2003-08-03

waking kills the dream, is an amazing emo/core band... with amazing lead vocals and a some what "beautiful mistake" scream harmonizing... and powerful guitar rythms that are poppy yet still hardcore, and they also have beautiful bridges... i would recomend this band to anyone that is into "the beautiful mistake" "static lullaby" "matchbook romance" "senses fail" or "poison the well"
