This recording is by some of the best to ever play the tuba. They make the most tuba ensemble that you will ever hear. I have listened to my copy so many times I'm going to have to buy another copy soon.

The tracks on this CD are some of the finest recordings I have heard in my life. The Fugue in G inspired me to search out a copy of the music, which I am attempting to play with half the mastery of these guys. If you play tuba and don't buy this, you are missing out on an awesome CD!

I bought this CD (with slight trepidation) because I was sure I would enjoy most of the music. The trepidation was only because, having discovered the inimitable Andrew Lawrence-King, I wasn't sure how the sound of the modern harp would stack up against his amazing instruments and the even more amazing range of sounds he gets from them. But I needn't have worried. Nancy Allen makes a beautiful, if mostly conventional, sound on her modern harp and her virtosity takes away one's breath. Her articulation is possibly the cleanest of any player of the modern harp I've heard and her sense of rhythmn is faultless. I'm no fan at all of modern music but I even enjoyed the two pieces by Prokofiev on this CD. I can't recommend it highly enough.

    I cant believe im the first to review this cd but what a true death metal master piece. If im not mistaken, this is there first release in several years. Maybe not quit as good as mysterium but these aussies no how to play there death metal. The cd starts out with a powerful track called whores of babylon. The music isnt fast, its slower tempo and heavy as hell. The vocals are low and scratchy but great. The music isnt talented but it is catchy, they know how to use what they have got thats for sure. If you are into morbid angel, old school death, or old school metal like onslaught then you wont be dissapointed, i promise.
