Smart and heavy !.......2007-04-22
"The Best of Savage" is much better than expected, unfortunately there is no songs from "Hyperactive" (Stevies Vengeance), but most of it is wonderful. All the tracks from "Holy Wars" (6-10) and "Babylon" (3-5) are great and the songs from "Loose 'n' Lethal" (11-15) are pure metal magic. Enjoy it since this is a rare potion.
Let It Loose!.......2006-05-11
For those who are unsure about buying this compilation? Here is a short, but detail review.
Tracks 1-2 are from the 2000 album "Xtreme Machine".
Tracks 3-5 are from the 1997 album "Babylon".
Tracks 6-10 are from the 1995 album "Holy Wars".
Tracks 11-15 are from the 1983 album "Loose 'N Lethal".
Tracks 16-17 are demos recorded in 1980.
*The listing on here for "Let It Loose" says "Let It Loose '95", but it is the original 1983 version (I have no idea why they put '95, when it's not). The 1995 version of "Let It Loose" can be found on the "Metallic-Era Vol I" compilation. For those who are true to Metallica will realize how much the band loved the song "Let It Loose". Especially Lars Ulrich himself.
