Customer Reviews:
They come from France?.......2006-07-05
Can it be, is there actually a good French metal band? I wouldn't have thought it possible until I heard Lyzanxia. The band's 2002 Mind Crimes album is a killer mix of thrash and death metal. They sound a lot like the Haunted, and to a lesser extent At the Gates. Their punishing guitar riffs are very reminiscent of In Flames, and the clean vocals have a Nevermore/Wicked Maraya (look them up) quality to them. It's a nice mix of styles, and the end result is a heavy and aggressive, yet still melodic, album that should appeal to most thrash and death metal fans.
awsome.......2004-07-26

buy it now and thank yourself later , this cd is killer.......2004-06-30
I put buying this cd off for many months, and now i wishi didn't this cd is freakin awesome, i can't believe there is only 1 review for this band, i agree somewhat with the other guy the singer when doing the clean vocals sounds just like Dave Mustaine, the band is so talented they incorporate so many differnt things, and they are able to blend them seamlessly, i'm tired it's late i'm not gonna rant, just tell everyone out there that has this band in there cart or wishlist thinking about when to buy it and holding off on it, dont you are missing out on something special here, these are in my cd player in my car alot and loud, so many good tracks. i'm done, hope my voice gets heard and others pick this band and spread there word, cuz music like this demands to be spread and heard.
A great modern thrash album.......2004-04-27
This album is very impressive and only continues to get better with each listen. There are riffs aplenty, remaining heavy throughout, yet manage to be catchy to the point where you can't get them out of your head. The dual vocal style is a kind of Dave Mustaine/death metal hybrid and varies nicely from song to song. The best songs IMO are the opening track "Time Dealer", "Mind Split", and "Black Side", but there are no weak tracks on this album. If you're looking for a modern day thrash masterpiece, pick up this album, Lyzanxia does not disappoint.

Excellent Multi-Genre, Hybrid-Metal.......2003-10-01
This is hands down, the most pleasant surprise this year in Metal. Lyzanxia play a creative blend of Thrash that incorporates lots of vocal transitions, abrasive riffing, highly addictive melodies and alternating tempos. Its hard to pin one single label on their particular genre of Metal but it lies somewhere between Thrash and Death Metal but with throbbing nuances sprinkled throughout. A truly excellent release and amongst the finest of 2003!
