Exciting, raw, and the real deal.......2006-08-31
The Graham Bond Organization is famous more for spawning two-thirds of Cream, than for their own accomplishments, at least in the US where it has been virtually impossible to get their recordings until recently. This disc shows them to be great musicians with absoultely no talent for playing it safe or going commercial. Their hard-driving, r&b sound is truly unique. Some have complained about Bond's singing being awful. Well, that's a matter of opinion. Captain Beefheart was an acquired taste, too. Although the vocal on "Tammy" is truly so surreally bad that it does defy description. Not all of the material is great but what comes through consistently is the sheer energy of this group and the virtuosity of the players. Bond, himself, is a true whiz on the organ - it's some of the most powerful and nimble keyboard playing you will ever hear on a pop music recording. And Baker's presence is very much in evidence throughout. Dick Heckstall-Smith, who went on to a long career playing with Jack Bruce and Colleseum, throws jazz licks into a rock environment with inspired results. And Jack, who is quite prominent on back-up vocals, plays a steady and imaginatvie bass. I bought this CD as a Cream fan, just to complete my collection - but I've been playing it constantly, enjoying about 2/3 of the material very much.
Great music, but sadly not great sound quality!.......2006-08-10
The GBO were one of the great British R&B bands, being and off-shoot from Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated. Enjoyable music throughout is sadly marred by indifferent rather 'flat' sound quality. Whatever the packaging says, I am told the set was actually dubbed from disc rather than taken from the master tapes; that would explain the odd 'tick' here and there.
good but no john mayall.......2004-01-26
i just wanted to say this is some pretty cool music if you let it grow on you.for the review that says people dont like the singing,i can understand at first listen you might quistion but bond does have his own cool sound.now for the record dont listen to everything people say sometimes you must be the judge.now to slip john mayall in as an example of singing that isnt that good is just wrong.first of i think he is a great vocalist.he can rock, sound like a soulman, get psychedelic, hit smooth notes that sound like the yound dude he is{like on the "barewires":suite intro for example}and dont forget he is white.overall there is no comparison in vocals and or tunes, especially when we start in on Barewires.i mean the first track alone is worth buying the record.its one of those trk1.-pts-a,b,c,d,e,f type tune and it is completly amazing without the 6 other killer tunes including one of my favorites SANDY".im not saying dont buy this record but unless you own it allready get BARewIRES' so you wont be going around thinking youve got the oldschool music thing figured out when youve yet to start your journey.
A Lost Classic of British Blues.......2002-07-23
Few people - other than obsessive Cream fans - have heard of the Graham Bond Organisation, and that's a shame. The group is historically significant because it represents the earliest recordings of Cream's rhythm section - bassist Jack Bruce and drummer Ginger Baker. However, the leaders of this group were singer/organist Bond and sax-man Dick Heckstall-Smith. Quite simply, the Organisation cut some of the grooviest blues- and jazz-rock of the early 1960s. The absence of guitar makes for an unusually "cool" British blues sound. And (hold onto your hats!) Ginger Baker's drum work is understated and tasteful, providing a swinging foundation for the other members' improvisation. Some have mentioned that Bond is not much of a singer and, while that may be true, he's certainly no worse than John Mayall. In short, this is an underrated and underappreciated classic that is a must-have for the fan of early British R&B.
The Organization Live.......2002-06-21
This was another band that never got their true impact down on record. I have this collection on reissue vinyl. There are some excellent tracks (Walking In The Park, Wade In The Water, Night Time Is The Right Time, even if he ain't Ray Charles) but I saw this band live and close up many times in places like the Flamingo, Klooks Kleek, Friars etc. They were always good and on a really good night, they were awesome! The well documented differences in the band seemed to produce something that on paper looked as if it should never have happened. Definitely one for afficionados of British RnB.

Customer Reviews:
It's about time for this beautiful creation to debut!.......2006-04-03
This c.d. is bursting with passion and talent; with compassion and pride. I agree with the reviewer above me that it's about time we had a collection (and many more related ones!) of this sort. There are so many inspired collaborative efforts out there, focusing primarily on gay men and lesbians -- it's about time we mixed it up a good bit more, and started raising the (musical and metaphorical) roof for bisexual artists. Not to mention transgendered artists, which I really hope will be something we see not too far down the line.
If you love the artists on this marvelous medley, buy this fabulous album. (And share it with friends!) If you love good music and want to rock out with/for this rocking cause -- well -- also buy thus album! And definitely be prepared to be blown away by a truly wonderful range of talent, passion, and grace.
Pure grace.
BI THIS ALBUM!!!!!.......2004-06-01
FINALLY! Let's face it ... a bisexual musical compilation is long overdue. While this album only scratches the surface of all the incredible bisexual artists and friends who have been blessed us with music throughout history and around the globe, it's a damn good start. Every single track on here rocks. Kudos to Skott Freedman and company for taking this big step. Personally my musical preference, just like my sexual preference, is MORE! :) So how about Volumes 2, 3, 4, ... ?

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY BUY THIS ALBUM!
Addictively original..........2005-11-10
Difficult to categorize and often verging on the bizarre, UFO's creative fusions of electronica & jazz justifiably established them as one of the mid 90's most original groups and "Bon Voyage" continues the plot with a heady musical mix that warps strongly melodic 60's style arrangements with drivingly adventurous acid-jazz. But is it any good? Well, like its predecessors, first time through is likely to leave you confused... are these guys serious? And then, as before, it starts to sink in and before you know where you are you're hitting the replay button because, despite the suspicion that it's all a bit too clever, it's just too good to put down.
Out on the edge and occasionally close to careering out of control, the album's stand-out track, "Good Luck Shore", sums it up... quite brilliant acoustic guitar opening, deeply funky bass, mind-etchingly odd background loops (with one sounding as though it's been lifted straight from "The Best of Roy Rogers" and the other from the outer extremes of Ornette Coleman), a repetitive "jazzy" chant, cool lead vocal and totally "off the wall" spoken clips, all mixed up into something that's not only cohesive but ridiculously addictive. And, while nothing else here quite beats it, there's a lot more to come on this distinctively unconventional roller coaster ride including the excellent club-latin jazz of "Tres Amigos", some amazing straight "scat" on "Flying Saucer" that's bent out into the left-field by its wacky lyrics and almost frantic arrangement, the wildly effective "chill-out/trip-hop meets wailing/chanting" of "Pilgrim", "Somewhere" & "Labyrinth" and the bewilderingly strange "Happy Birthday" & "Niji". Handle with care but prepare, once again, to be completely sucked into UFO's wonderfully odd-ball world.
UFO is growing up.......2001-04-18
Yes, the best album to date. There's a good amount of maturity in this album, with UFO flexing their musical over this mixological abilities. The jazz is more hefty than the dub on this album, and it plays well. One of the best tracks on the album is "Flying Saucer" with a phenomenal performance from jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater. Way, way cool. But the acid jazz is pretty hefty, too, on a lot of other tracks, and very akin to past efforts from UFO. It's a great bridge album for jazz people wanting to taste acid and acid folks wanting a bit more jazz in their coffee. The tracks stand way more independently than previous releases. The most beautiful aspect of the album is that the band is showing evolution, they're not tapped into formula. They're growing. The cloth of Bon Voyage shows a finer weave than previous albums, with a more focussed approach. Only complaint is the "Happy Birthday" track. A very lame close to a great album.
The next trip with the U.F.O...enhanced for your pleasure!.......2001-02-15
Before you get to the meat and veggies of this review, here's a quick note: this review is basically the SAME review I posted for the import cd, slightly modified to cover the video and bonus mix...which managed to push the disc's rating up to a 5! Woohoo! This will hopefully save you some money when trying to decide between the import and the U.S. release. I honestly hope that the title of this album does not imply the impending collapse of the Organization. While not as encompassing an album as 3rd Perspective, Bon Voyage still manages to cover quite a bit of musical territory. It's a bit jazzier than their previous releases, specifically in the area of Latin jazz. In fact, you'd think that the group had been tuning into fellow acid-jazzer Snowboy a bit more than normal. Track two, Tres Amigos, is by far the strongest on the album, and even if you don't like this group, or the whole acid-jazz genre, you WILL dig this song. I spin it at the club every chance I get. The UFO horns really wail on that tune...here's to hoping the next album will showcase their talents even more. Standout tracks: the aforementioned Tres Amigos, #3, Flying Saucer(crazy scat, man) and #6, Pilgrims (triphop like only UFO can do it). There is apparently a remixed version of this album available as well; I'll post a review of that after I pick it up (you might also check out a group called No Se, on the Instinct label, album is Quelle Adventure! They do an incredible tribute to UFO called United Flying Objects. Also, look for Mondo Grosso, another smooth Japanese rare groove/acid jazz ensemble). This domestic release includes a great video by the band, in addition to the bonus remix. Even if you have the import, grab a copy of this, if only for the video. Now, where is that LIVE album, I wonder...

Galliano's 6 senses + UFO's 3 perspectives + 4 stars = 13 notes!.......2005-07-11
A marvelous jazz cd that mixes many muiscal influences with spoken poetry and some smoky traditional jazz vocals.
Best cuts are "The Sixth Sense," a slow, senusual rap by Galliano (whose own CD, "In Pursuit of the 13th Note" is a marvel in it's own right), "I'll Bet You Thought I'd Never Find You", a Mel Torme-like take on love and fate, and "My Foolish Dream," whose female vocals create a lush, beautiful song experience.
Throw infamous "beat-poet" Kerouac's ramblings into the mix and you have a slinky, kinky, unsual treat!
The first entry in a stellar jazz manifest..........2004-02-23
Gotta give it 3, cause they got room to grow here (and they did; their third disc, "3rd Perspective" is their all-time best). Having said that, they are no slouches in this traditional-jazz with a twist disc!
"The Sixth Sense" is alive with fluttering sensuality; it's the best song to slowly wake up to since it's a paeon to the "funshine of morning...radio rumbles on the roof, a cat yawn...dawn pushes on to the back of another day." UFO have always been distinguished by their stirring lyrics, whether wacky or poetically contemplative, and "The Sixth Sense" is the first UFO offering to feature R. Gallagher, who will later pen the masterpiece "Friends (We'll Be) on "3rd Perspective."
The next best cut is "Be Here Now," combining wah-wah old-time stripper music, with drowsy rap vocals. Kinda reminds me of Lee Morgan on a bender! And "On Est Ensembel Sans Se Parler - L.O.V.E." spins a GROOVY melody with funkified french-speak! I put this on repeat and head-bop all day long!
UFO are in a pantheon of culture vultures like Transglobal Underground, Asian Dub Foundation and, yes, even the later recordings of Swing Out Sister ("Filth and Dreams" and "The Living Return"), who mix Eastern, Latin, and African styles, spoken-word performance pieces, rap, electronica, ancient instruments, ambient sounds and samples wtih traditional western music to create hypnotic hybrids. And all these bands stress ultra-positive messages of co-existence, political freedom and sacrificial love.
You are in the pastiche parlour of the United Future Organization, where all sounds and cultures meet to create a new aural & moral life, baby!
A great album, even 5 years later!.......2000-11-15
The title says it all. The best track is 'Upa'. Please note from the previous reviewer: Mendez didn't originally do Upa. It was Edu Lobo. Thank You!
Excelent.......2000-08-29
From Galliano's "Sixth Sense", through a great rendition of Sergio Mendes' "Upa Neguinho" and Jack Kerouac's ramblings and mumblings in "Poetry and all that Jazz" to the great vibes and brassy beats of "Off Road" this album glitters with good music and very very tasty jazz grooves.
Perfect for your ears.......2000-05-11
UFO consists of Tokyo' DJs Tadashi Yabe and Toshio Matsuura and Raphael Sebbag from France. They started off in 1990 and by now they are in the top being one of the most desired export articles of Japan. They are mixing together jazz, hip-hop and acid jazz; the outcome is something like you've never heard before. Or actually they are mixing together different subcultures of jazz - especially those of France and Japan (listen to the vocals). Their sound is raw and real enough to believe it, even a little bit too real sometimes, but that's not a problem, is it? Listening to their album with closed eyes will take you off to a smokey little dim bar at the end of the street in the cellar. This is the place where all the folks know each-other and a band plays to you from a tiny stage in one corner. You don't go there to dance or drink; you go there to enjoy yourself and the pleasant company of people who know something about this kinda music.

Jazz Trio plays the Doors.......2003-07-22
This is a poor sounding live recording. There is no dynamic range. There is an echo. You can hear the audience talking in the background. If the sound quality were better, I might give this 4 stars, based on the quality of the music. It is 66 minutes long and only has miminal talking and clapping between tracks.
If you got this far, you know that Robby Kreiger is the guitar player for the Doors. (I would say "was", but the Doors have sort of reformed with Krieger and Ray Manzarek). Some people say he was an unrated guitar player. That is not true. Critics and fans have a good grasp of how good of a guitar player he is.
Kreiger has a unique playing style that was an important part of the Doors sound. He produced an eerie, dark sound that went well with Jim Morrison's vocals. His guitar playing also enhanced the Doors out of control live sound. Kreiger is not a flaming, jamming guitar god, like Eric Clapton or Duane Allman. He plays short, and repeated riffs. He cannot carry on a long guitar solo. He cannot play intricate, fast riffs. The guitar intro to Spanish Caravan on the album Waiting For the Sun, was done by a guest musician. On this album, RKO Live, he tries to play that intro, but cannot do a complete job of it. Although Kreiger has some limitations, he is still an excellent musician and was part of the one of the 20 most important rock acts of all time.
The music on this album is pretty good and has many interesting parts. The band plays a mixture of jazz tunes and Doors songs. Like the Doors, the band can be loose, sloppy and almost out of control at times. It is interesting that the jazz tunes are played tighter than the rock tunes. Kreiger does the vocals. He has a strange, beat poet sort of voice.
If you are any kind of Doors fan, especially of the live music, than this is an interesting album to get. The music is good, but not fantastic. I was sligthly disappointed, but I expected something more from Kreiger, based on what he did with the Doors. The sound quality knocks it down to 3 stars.
Doors and all that jazz.......2002-05-03
Recall the brilliant Paul Rothchild-produced Doors album "Strange Days." Such a tightly structured concept album, perhaps reflecting the all-time greatest blend of unity of a group into single songs (and mood). Robby Krieger, without a pick and employing bottleneck, did the beautiful high-pitched guitar glides and slides and eerie twangs on various songs, played the acid solo in "When the Music's Over," electrified in "My Eyes Have Seen You," and dished out regular great blues and hard rock guitar. The Doors were so together, man--it was not even Jim Morrison and The Doors, always The Doors. But this is a very talented great guitarist, who wrote "Light My Fire," after all. What's he like on his own?
Many years have passed since then, and Robby has become his own man. His accomplishments are many, and his post-Doors production exceeds that of the legendary group. Still, he found demand for Doors songs during his solo career was always there, and in fact increased over time. The Robby Krieger Organization is a revolving door band, no pun intended, known for playing mostly Doors numbers and jazz covers, although they have a few jazz songs of their own. The group on this live CD comprises only Robby and his two-person accompaniment, who perform four Doors songs along with several covers of jazzy instrumental numbers and Robby's own heavy, fuzz-boxey "Gavin Leggit." The songs were performed in small venues fit for the jazz numbers that were included. Robby's beautiful Doors classic "Spanish Caravan" and Chick Corea's "Spain" are combined in a flamenco medley. Another of the jazz numbers, "African Daisy," is a fine composition by RKO percussionist Dale Alexander.
The solos of Robby and his mates cook in the jazz tunes, but I have to be honest, "Spanish Caravan" and the other Doors songs are the highlight. But they are less in the vein of The Doors and more so in that of Robby's group, which is jazz. This includes Willie Dixon's "Backdoor Man," such a defining cover for Jim Morrison's stage persona, but here with Robby on vocals instead. Robby's "Light My Fire," my favorite song of all time, has its solo considerably extended, lending itself to jazzy interpretation. "Riders on the Storm" fits in well because it is arguably more jazzy than any Doors song in original form. But here, it is Skip Vanwinkl's Hammond organ rather than Ray Manzarek's piano we hear, along with Robby's liquid guitar, gliding and flowing, producing a great variation on this hypnotic song. Still, for all I've said about jazz, I must emphasize the eclecticism on the CD, for that is what Robby is all about. He is often described as a flamenco guitarist for want of a single adjective, but The Doors--they were a psychedelic blues band, right? Enough of regular rock and blues is here, along with flamenco and all that jazz. RKO Live is a rich experience, and one of my favorites.
RKO Live.......2000-03-09
Robbie Krieger truly sizzles in this live representation of his works. Since the breakup of the Doors, Krieger has been pressing forward, improving as he goes along. In this CD Krieger does 4 classic Doors tunes - Back Door Man, Spanish Caravan, Riders On the Storm, and Light My Fire. Krieger's singing of these songs is excellent. The music on this CD is basically jazz oriented, but his rock & roll side is always there. Mixing Jim Morrisons poetry with the song 'Light My Fire' was purely a work of inspiration, elevating the song to a lustrious 13 minutes. There are a number of instrumentals on the CD as well which showcase Kriegers remarkable style of guitar wizardry. This is far from a 90's Doors concert, but it does highlight the musical genious of a man who survived that era and is still going on strong. The sound quality of the CD is not as good as one would like, but not withstanding, the music still shines through. If you like jazz, and if you like the Doors, check it out.
crystal clear sailing on a cyrstal ship.......1999-04-16
robbie krieger is one of the most underrated guitarists ever. close your eyes and listen to his cover of the doors' classic crystal ship and find yourself in another time and place. his tribute to the rolling stones' street fighting man is truly fine.

Album Description
The crown jewel of the Kung Fu Records organization. The 14 songs on End Is Forever (The Ataris 3rd LP for Kung Fu) accurately reflect the dedication to the craft of songwriting that has skyrocketed this Santa Barbara, California quartet into becoming the fastest growing punk band in recent memory. Punk, pop-punk, and emo fans alike have been gravitating to Kris Roe's heartfelt hyper-melodic punk tales of teenage dreams and broken hearts in alarming numbers that are giving the band their highest weekly sales now, as we speak. The momentum that popped when Fat Wreck Chords released their Ataris E.P. in 1998 (as a favor to all of us), has been carried on by incessant touring throughout North America, Australia, Japan, and in the fall of 2000, Europe.
Kung Fu and the Vandals have done all they can to help develop this band and the results have been very satisfying for all of us. The Ataris now command their own league of followers. Demos pour in daily to Kung Fu from bands trying to sound like them, look like them, and play with them. They say imitation is the sincerest form of punk rock.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
1. Giving Up On Love: **** A song with great lyrics and a reasonably good beat.
2. Summer Wind Was Always Our Song: ****1/2 Nice pop-rock ballad with both emotion and Energy.
3. I.O.U. One Galaxy: ***1/2 The start of this song is excellent, but it could really use a bit of work.
4. Bad Case Of Broken Heart: ***1/2 Interesting way to put it - a feeling that feels like a disease: Broken Heart. Outside though, not the best song.
5. Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start: **** A brilliant backround sound makes this awkwardly named song a good song to listen to.
6. Road Signs And Rock Songs (Love Is Overrated): ****1/2 I love Mike's bass solo in this song, and saying, "And love is overrated. It leaves your devastated heart ripped in two." with Kris can be fun.
7. If You Really Want To Hear About It: *** There are better Ataris songs than this one. It's targeted too much toward little kids.
8. Fast Times At Drop-Out High: ****1/2 Again, the bass in the song makes the ballad noteworthy, and this solidly built song makes has no real complaints.
9. Song For A Mix Tape: ***1/2 Sudden theme changes from The Descendents, to fast rock, to Texan rock, makes this an unusual song. Listen if you like theme changes.
10. You Need A Hug: *1/2 The name sounds nice, but this song isn't good at all. As Kris is just writing to his little daughter instead of Denice (His girlfriend at the time), he not only makes it sound pretty poor, but also says bad words in front of her! Skip this one.
11. How I Spent My Summer Vacation: ***** Not overpowered, with great lyrics, time, and construction? Best song on the CD, and makes a VERY versatile ballad. This song, I REALLY like.
12. Teenage Riot: ****1/2 This punky song has everything you need to have a rule-free, fun, and naughty world. Don't listen to it too much though - the F word really stinks.
13. End Is Forever: ****1/2 Powerful song with more energy than most of the songs on the CD. Great guitar parts in the song make it very versatile.
14. Hello & Goodbye: ***1/2 It's just an accoustic ballad that might be hard to hear, but it ends the CD perfectly.
Best Songs:
1. How I Spent My Summer Vacation
2. End Is Forever
3. Road Signs And Rock Songs
Worst Songs:
1. You Need A Hug
2. If You Really Want To Hear About It
3. Bad Case Of Broken Heart
Overall: Not as good as So Long, Astoria, but Mike's bass parts in the EMO songs still make this CD noteworthy.
It Begins..........2004-09-14
Even if this album sucked, I would still have to give it some credit for including a sound byte from a Kevin Smith movie. However, End Is Forever doesn't completely suck. It's just somewhat unnverving. Since their debut, the Ataris had built a reputation as a great pop-punk band that could deal with emotions but not sound like they were about to start crying. That ends with this album. The tempos drop, the lyrics get sadder, and the overall tone turns from emotional fun to emo-drippy. On the bright side, The Ataris attempt some new stuff here, which is never a bad thing. "Song For A Mix Tape" includes a pedal steel guitar solo, and several tracks employ the use of an organ. Unfortunately, not all experiments work. When the band attempts to get punk on "Teenage Riot," it comes out sounding corny and insincere. I'm sorry, but after hearing Kris Roe sing about nothing but girls for years, I can't accept him as a riot-inducing cop hater. "Song #13" manages to inject a bit of hardcore into the Ataris sound, but it isn't enough to save this album from succumbing to the depths of the emo trend. The Ataris had always managed to avoid becoming emo, but it looks like all good things must come to an End Is Forever.
Best Ataris CD.......2004-05-19
alright just off the bat, i dunno how anyone can say blue skies is the ataris best cd because its not even better then so long astoria. This cd is like a greatest hits of their styles.
songs like "Teenage Riot", Song#13, and you need a hug are reminicent of the anywhere but here days.
their emo tracks are defiently blue skies like material, and if you really wanna hear about it is a great song (mentioning seaside nj might I add)
overall this cd doesnt have 1 bad song. if an ataris greatest hits cd was made, i would be surprised if one of these songs didnt make it.
Worst Punk rock album ever........2004-04-29
this would be an excellent purchase if you enjoy the always changing and exciting world of punk rock. However, i dont i saw the music video boys of summer and thought that maybe this would be a good purchase. IT WASNT. The songs are all very repetitive and lame, the riffing is the same the whole way through and i dont think that the band members can eve play their instruments right.
Another great addition to the CD collection.......2003-12-05
This one of the best albums (in my opinion) to come out of the falling pop/punk scene. It is because of this album i just got hooked on the*ataris. Though it has its emo side to it, it will still give you your daily dose of punk rock.
Though not surpassing the best ataris album, blue skies..., it would rank #2. It has some of it's dark songs ("road signs and rock songs"; "song #13", and "teenage riot") and the songs to pick you up out of a pit ("up, up, down, down,...", "giving up on love" if you just dumped, and "if you really want to hear about it" even though that song is semi-cheesy sounding). the worst song on the album would have to be "if you really want to hear about it" only because it is the most poppy song on the cd, but hey! you may like it. so...if you are into music filled with emotion, feeling, and just energy, go out and pick up this album. you will not be disappointed.

Lazy day acid-jazz..........2002-01-06
UFO's creatively bizarre mixing of styles produced some of the best mid 90's funky, acid-jazz and "No Sounds too Taboo" is arguably their best album. Despite the typically odd arrangements that permeate most of its tracks - a mixture of off-the-wall vocals, weird instrumentation and "lounge-lizard" backbeats - there's nothing too challenging here other than a set of ingenious, well produced workouts that are ideally suited for a lazy afternoon's listening. Sounds negative?... well making genuinely interesting laid-back music is no easy task and on "Stolen Moments", "Mistress of Dance" and most of the other tracks on this album UFO hit the button perfectly. Arty, clever and fun... the cover says it all !
funky acid jazz.......2000-05-26
In my opinion, there are only two bands who make excellent acid jazz music: the brand new heavies (who are from england) and UFO (who are from japan). This album is simply excellent. It's funky, groovy and quite sophisticated. You can't prevent from dancing around when you hear it and at the same time, it's enough elaborated to be appealing for a demanding audience... As I was saying, also check out the brand new heavies' releases (especially shelter and brother sister or the best of, "trunk funk")
Very mellow..........2000-03-30
I bought this after all I heard about UFO and definately wasn't disapointed. UFO has a sound that is pretty unplaceable although I would say if you are into this then listen to Manu Chau, some of the less weird stuff by Sukia ('Dream machine' being quite close), Coldcut, and The Herbaliser. I especially reccomend the last two. UFO's album, while at times a tad mediocre, is uplifting and cool all the way through. Stand out tracks are 'United Future Airlines' and 'Doopsyllolic' which is veeery funky. They are a group to watch out for, they are destined for big things. However, if you are new to UFO then I would reccomend their eponymous debut album, very funky with fantastic samples.
bravo, United Future organization is what it all about........1999-01-02
I liked many of the songs on this album. But The Track I lked most was "Kissing your Father". It created such joy in my soul while i listened to the bliss of trumpets that made my heart pound.
