Customer Reviews:
Some of the best songs I've ever heard!.......2001-07-18
These guys are some of the nicest people you would ever want to meet and they KNOW country music! 'You Have the Right to Remain Silent' is a gem of a song. I have other personal favorites from this album and I sing along regularly! Steve Murray has been singing since high school and has a rich and unique voice. He sings sad songs, up-beat songs, and classics equally well. You should hear him do 'Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay'!! I could be partial since I know him well and since I recently married his cousin and now we're related, but if you love real songs that exemplify great country music, this album is for you!
We need more of these guys!.......2000-06-28
Whilst some of the songs on this CD aren't to my personal liking (It's up to you) the others are so fantastic that they make up for any shortfalls. You Have The Right to Remain silent is a beauty, but best of all is No 7, Who are You? Worth a listen too for sure!, and i'll be first in line for the next CD.
What a great album.......2000-05-29
These guys may be the most under-rated group in country music. This album, their first, has several of the best songs I've ever heard, delivered in a way you can't forget. The title cut, and the unforgettable ballad, "I'm A Stranger Here Myself" are what the genre is all about. A classic blend of artists and material.
You Have The Right To Remain Silent.......2000-01-24
Great songs that touch true life experiences that all can relate to. This group of artists have all the potential needed with their soul touching lyrics and their cowboy manners. Live performances will not soon be forgotten..these artists are down to earth and a pleasure to watch, as well as listen to....hoping for more releases in the near future.
great song.......1999-08-12
I'm a country music lover and although I dont care for the cd as a whole The Title cut is one of the most emotional grabbing songs I've ever heard

X-Cops-'You Have The Right To Remain Silent'(Metal Blade).......2005-07-16
'You Have The Right...' is actually better than what I had expected. As most of you know, this was a Gwar side-project. X-Cops have sort of come up with an all new (for them anyway)view of life, an extremely dark and devious look at law enforcement. Alright! Someone had to do it, right? With tunes like "Cavity Search", "The Party's Over", "5-0", "Third Leg" and "You F**ked Up", I have to admit 'You Have The...' is quite fun to listen to. About as heavy as Gwar. Give it a shot, see what you think. Mature audiences only, please. Enjoy.
You have the right to remain VIOLENT!.......2003-10-17
X-Cops is prolly one of the better GWAR side pojects..the music is a little more serious unlike GWAR or DBX....the music is much more hardcore...most of it's growling speed metal into somewhat of a highway rock sound...good stuff....nowhere near as silly as GWAR or Brockie's stuff..but there are a few chuckles in here...and Brockie provides them...musicaly this is some metal stuff..check it out..."Welcome to New Jersey" and "The Party's Over" plus the opening track "Interloper" shred up on the guitar and speedy double bass...GWAR fan's must have!
good stuff.......2003-09-15
SICK group comprised mainly of the good ol' boys of GWAR, X-Cops somehow manage to get more brutal than the band that spawned them. Orr's snarling vocals go along with the million-mile-an-hour drum blasts, accompanied well by Brockie on bass and Derks on guitar. Imagine death metal, thrash, punk and speed metal rolled into one blistering experience and that's what X-Cops are. The high points, in my opinion, are the eerie "Cavity Search" and "The Party's Over," for lightening up the pace of the album for a minute or two, plus it's got a killer bass line. Right to Remain Silent is a must for any GWAR afficianado.
they line up around the block to suck the ghost of hitlers ?.......2002-06-22
If you know gwar then you know what youre getting. comprised of the members of the aforementioned as well as kepone (or so i think), this album is a festival of violence as well as kick ... musicianship. If i had to suggest the best time to play this it has to be when your in your car and want to tear it up. just put on the instrumental "tune up time" and youll be hitting warp speed in a flash. Deep Purple never "shot you in the face" but they may as well have due to the superior (as well as lyrically enhanced) version of "highway star"
<--- a song to help you be just that. As a New Jerseyan (huh) i love the synapses of my home state on the tune "welcome to new jersey" they sum it up and make known our continental blackballing by singing "they got the giants they got the jets they got it all but they get no respect" speed metal at its finest by some of the most underrated goons in the scene ...
GWAR fans, you'll love this..........2000-04-05
I really enjoyed this CD. This CD is as good as the music that they make for GWAR, only louder. I highly recomend it. If you like GWAR, you'll love this.
