A popular local band from the South Bay Area, Roadside Attraction's new album is finally out after a long two years of reformation. The line-up had changed drastically, leaving only founding guitarist Phil Johnson the sole remaining member from the last CD Rock Formations.
Brand New World- the first single, starts with an eerie X-files style beginning, then plows ahead into a solid beat. World of Make Believe- a hard rock tune with a Caribbean twist. Whale Blubber- a 'love song?' inspired by the movie Me, Myself & Irene.
Two of Me- another love song, this one a split-personality good/evil sort of thing; even a country tune of sorts : Hillbilly Love is included.
The rest of the songs are good as well, so pick this one up. Check 'em out if you can.

When I saw this cd at a used cd store,I thought to myself who are these guys...never heard of them before....thought I'd try it.
Was shocked when I saw the price$60.00 then saw it was from Japan
the clerk gave it to me for $12.00..Am I glad I only payed the $12.00...could barely tell one song from the other,they all sounded the same!
Now I know why this cd was only released in Japan.

ALL Time Classic!!!.......2006-06-01

Lion - Dangerous Attraction is an all time classic. It may be one of the best melodic rock/metal cd's if not the best in existance. Worth every penny if you can find it. It is rare because it was on the Scotti Bros label. There is not a bad song on the cd and the musicianship is the best you will hear in this genre. If you can find it get it, you may never see it again.

More than meets the eye.......2006-03-24

Some of you may recognize Lion as the band who performed the Transformers theme song for the movie. 1987's Dangerous Attraction was Lion's first full-length album. The band continued their "not quite hair metal but not really power metal" style they first demonstrated on their Power Love EP, and even included the EP's title track on this release. The album has a Dokken meets Leatherwolf with a bit of Fifth Angel sound. Doug Aldrich's guitar work is better than average, which shouldn't come as much of a surprise, given his later work with Dio and Whitesnake.

Lion would go on to release one more album before regrouping as the straightforward rock band Bad Moon Rising.
