Horns Up !!! for evil black war metal............2006-02-19

Hhhhhmmmm, where do i begin? TOTAL WAR was originally just called WAR, but had to change the name to TOTAL WAR because of name trouble with a 60's hippie band.
And TOTAL WAR is just that, this is some ferocious swedish black war metal here. the band features members of Infernal, Hypocrisy, Abruptum and In Aeternum. an 14 track cd of horrific black metal rage that sounds a little bit like Marduk or a faster Throne of Ahaz, and it has an outstanding sound quality. seriously, get this cd if you want to feel lots of hateful extreme metal energy, "megaviolent black/war metal" is how guitarist 'Blackmoon' describes it.
this cd is actually a compilation of the best songs from Total Wars' 2 albums when they were still just War. those 2 albums were 'Total War' and 'We are War' - if you find either of those albums BUY THEM !!! they are collectors items because they are out of print and War/Total War the band no longer exists.
