I love mpeg videos on cd singles, as opposed to mov files. The video is gamble everything for love....not catch my disease, which is the video on the next single, i read it last night on ben-lee.com. I love the songs, disease has a demo that sounds like ben is making it all up as he goes along....so cool. the live stuff is splended, float on (which I have on the 7" w/ pony up's heard you got some action (lets talk baseball) ) is awesome...great song, great cover choice. all in all it is superb. Ben has had great singles his whole career. I was an intern for grand royal from 94-the great gr fold and aside from beastie shwag...I looked foward to ben lee stuff the most, I loved money mark, hurra, bis, lucious jackson and all the rest... but BEN is so goood. I have his whole career on cd, (except for def by noise addict) (ps if you play the bside to float on,the 45 single from pony up called heard you got some action on 33 instead of 45 it sounds like 2 gay guys talking and it is so funny, michelle my girlfriend discoverd that.(ben if you read this, put out a dvd, put out a rarities cd...or boxed set.

Nothing Like LeFT.......2003-08-23

This CD is one of the most unique CD's I own. I've yet to hear anything that sounds like LeFT so if you're looking for something new... this is it. Unfortunately the band parted ways but the CD is still worth it.

A Blessing..........2003-03-25

Left as been one of the most succesful bands to come out of the local scene in Saginaw. They have transformed what was once a medicore scene to something great (at one time). Since the release of this album the band has broken off into seperate project bands. Matt going into the band Arizing. This album is somewhat considered a masterpiece, but most still perfer the self produce album better. If you haven't heard the anger, hate, and pure feeling you get from listening to Matt croon, or the crushing guitars of Dan, you haven't heard what the youth of America will soon deliver. If you want to listen to something good, and underground, here you go.

I have not heard all of the songs on this cd. But what I have heard I believe is good. I own LeFT's previous cd which isn't available in stores, and I like it. LeFT is worth a listen for fans of any genre of music, but especially hardcore rock.

This album can be best summed up as ten tracksof immense honesty and brutal energy. The lyrics are based onexperiences that we've all been through. Whether you're feeling downand looking for someone to understand you and say, "Yeah, man, Iknow exactly what you're going through," or you just want to havea nice soundtrack for a night of being angry and breaking old, brokenVCRs, LeFT's My Disease is the perfect album for you.

Detractors maytell you that LeFT sounds "generic." Detractors will also bewrong. While not as "out there" as bands like Refused, LeFThave a sound of their own. It may not jump out at you the first timeyou pop the disc into the CD player, but once you start getting toknow the album, you start discovering the nuances that make the albumso great. The main pleasure in the album isn't found just observingthe surface. You've got to get past the candy coating to taste thesweet, sweet chocolate within. It's not instantly gratifying, but ifyou take the time to get used to the album and understand it, you'llbe far happier with it than most of the rock albums you'll find inrecord stores, which could only dream of having substance comparableto LeFT's My Disease.

If you're a fan of the genre and you likesimilarly-styled bands, such as Vision of Disorder and Will Haven, oryou're just getting into aggressive rock bands and you're looking tobranch off from mainstream staples like the ..., into somethingthat's more honest, energetic, and hits a little closer to home,LeFT's My Disease should be high on your record purchasingpriorities. There's not a single dud on the CD and it's something thatwill be extremely irresistible once you get a grasp of it. It's notsomething that you'll love for a week and then forget about. This isthe kind of album that you can listen to for months without tiring of....

I ordered this cd cuz my friend told me this band was really good, and she kept telling me and telling me, so i finally broke down and bought it, and i'm not sorry i did!!! this is one of the best CDs i have heard in a long time, and i have actually been dissappointed by most hardcore music lately. kudos to left! (and thank you sam for telling me about this band)

REDLINE- HIGH ENERGY ROCK.......2002-03-15

Redline is a band from Northern California. a band that has been
performing and making records since 1988. (not to be confused
with the band from Tenn that has popped up in recent years.)
My diesase is a hard edged near goth album that received play on
103 radio staions in 14 states. If you like heavy music with
a dark edge this may be for you. Plase check out thier site for more information on this album and their
upcoming release Big Machine!!! Hope this clears up any confusion.

the wrong redline..........2000-09-14

I've been a fan of Redline for a few years now and I've been awaiting the arival of the new record that's supposed to be called Supernova. This "My Disease" cd is a different band using the name redline which is trademarked by Malaco Music, Inc. I was completely dissappointed to learn that this wasn't the right band. Please take this off of your site and inform them that there has already been a Redline band for about 6 years now...
