Russian-born Irina Mishura has been unaccountably neglected in the onslaught of mezzo-sopranos, even though her voice has more size and dimension than her sometimes dour-sounding countryman, Olga Borodina. This program of songs includes Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Shostakovich's Six Poems of Marina Tsvetayeva, which Mishura encompasses with deep feeling and authority. Her accompanist doesn't have the greatest piano in the world but one can't complain too loudly about one of the few recordings by this treasurable singer. --David Patrick Stearns

Actually, there is another Ceremony recording out there. They recorded it like a year before "days before the death"...in???1990/91 I think. There was a review in a metalmag and tape being sold back then. It has 4 or 5 tracks on it, was WAY ahead of its time and was pretty smokin, even by todays standards, from what I remember. Unfortunately, my tape was destroyed by over playing it!! Im sure that one will resurface someday... anyone have it??? post up if you do....

This album is comprised of a"super group" of death metal musicians. Vocals and bass by Steve Tucker (Morbid Angel), Pat O'brien-Guitar(Cannibal Corpse), Greg Reed-Guitar(Disastronaut/Brujo) And shannon purden-Drums (internicine). A MUST have for true fans of the genre. 5 stars!!
