Product Description
The second ABB archival release. Made from the original analog 2-track tapes, not multi-tracked, the mix improves from the beginning through about the first 3-4 songs, as the ABB soundman was tweaking the sound "on the fly." This outstanding performance features what many fans consider to be the very best versions of "Dreams" and "Blue Sky" (very rare) ever captured live by the original lineup. Stellar music from the last few weeks of the first incarnation of the band.

another welcome reminder of where it all began.......2007-05-03
Archival live recordings are valuable indeed, because moments of greatness are captured that can never be duplicated. Such is the case with the Allman Brother's "S.U.N.Y. at Stonybrook 9/19/1971".
This is the second release in the Allman Brothers Archival Collection. In September of 1971, the Allmans made their fifth visit to S.U.N.Y. (State University of New York), right when all the stars were aligned for the band. "Live At Fillmore East" had been certified gold, and reviewers were unanimous that the Brothers were the best in the land.
High points are many, including a blistering "One Way Out"; at the conclusion, a proud Duane Allman boasts into the mike "That's my brother singin'!" Greg is in fine voice throughout this 107 minute double disc, but the real treat is the live version of "Blue Sky", which introduced the world to the talents of Dickie Betts. His lead vocal is strong and confident, and he and Duane's guitar leads reach heights worthy of "Fillmore East". At the end of the song, Duane again shouts praise: "Dickie Betts- WHOO!"
The second disc contains a nineteen minute version of "Dreams", showcasing Duane's powers on slide, and Betts' instrumental "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed", where the entire band gets to shine.
Sadly, the following October, Duane Allman was killed in a motorcycle accident, as was bassist Berry Oakley thirteen months later.
The Brothers today are still creating great improvised blues-based rock, as is Dickie Betts with his own band, Great Southern. But these archival releases are welcome reminders of where it all began.
A more than worthy companion to the Fillmore Concerts.......2007-03-30
Apparently this disc is hard to track down, which is a shame (I picked it up in the used bin at Amoeba in Berkeley). The playing here is at least as intense as at the well known Fillmore concerts. Duane is mind-blowing as usual, but the revelation here is Dickey Betts - he simply tears it up in "One Way Out" and "Blue Sky," which features blissful extended solos from both gents. The sound is raw but powerful (comparable to Ludlow Garage), and the guitarists' sounds are captured with immediacy. Don't be discouraged by the sound on the opener, "Statesboro Blues" - it gets better. The repertoire is standard '71 ABB, with the blues-based material on disc one and expansive readings of "Dreams" and "Elizabeth Reed" on disc two (sadly, there's no "Mountain Jam," though the rare "Blue Sky" compensates). The only problem with this release is that disc one is so good that I've had a difficult time turning it off and moving on to disc two.
arguably the best Allman Brothers record ever.......2007-01-15
When I began collecting Allman Brothers live shows someone traded me Capt. Skippers wonderful remaster of this show. I knew immediately I had something special as soon as I heard it. Duane and dickey were so on this night that I was trasported to a place that I had never been musically. I knew Duane Allman was my favorite guitarist, and arguably the best to pick up the instrument, but this show cemented that in my mind.
Imagine my excitement that the 9/19/71 Stoneybrook show was to be the second release in the Allman Brothers archival release series. And not only was it a decent soundboard recording, but it had an amazing 11:26 minute version of Blue Sky (One of three known live versions featuring Brother Duane.) In addition the amazing 19:37 version of Dreams is here in all it's grandeur. Add this to some of Duane's best slide work on Trouble No More, Don't Keep Me Wondering and of course Statesboro Blues and a cooking version of Elizabeth Reed and you have everything you need for a major musical/religious experience.
This is essential listening for any Allman Brothers fan. IMHO opinion of the 50 or so shows I've heard from the Duane era of the band, this is the best I've heard the band play. Get this if you don't have it. If you have the Capt. Skip remaster, get this one too

A notch or two above The Grass Roots and The Mamas and Papas, and more than a few steps below The Byrds, the early Beau Brummels took the indulgently blissful sound of '60s San Fancisco rock into a folkier, borderline country direction (and would in fact later play solid country rock). Led by guitarist/writer Ron Elliott, the Brummels made a virtue of innocence and joyful bounce, and benefited from Sly Stone's energetic production. Hits include "Laugh, Laugh," "Sad Little Girl," and a pleasant take on Dylan's "One Too Many Mornings." There may not be much substance or invention here, but 30 years later, the Brummels still sound catchy. --Roy Francis Kasten

A Grounded Review.......2007-04-04
Being in my mid 40's I was just a tad too young to remember these guys from when they were making this music. I admit that I bought the CD based on some of the hype that I read while surfing for a couple of CDs.
As far as the music goes, I think it is pretty good stuff. I recognized the two hits "Laugh, Laugh" and "Just a Little" as soon as they played, and there are a few others that I really like. As someone who likes Gary Puckett, Grass Roots, Buckinghams, Hollies, and similar bands I found these guys very listenable. Maybe not quite as spectacular as I read, but over all, not a wasted purchase. The CD comes with a very nice insert that explains some of the history of the band. I really enjoyed reading through it and I think you might also.
Pure music history.......2005-10-18
This CD is a wormhole back in time to a much simpler era. Sal's vocals are clear and folksey. John was always my favorite drummer and he could drive a song with his beat alone. Add the other members and you have a group that answered the British invasion with American mop-tops that had a first rate sound. I still think "Laugh, Laugh", "Still In Love With You Baby" and "Don't Talk To Strangers" are some of the best songs to come out of the sixties. Put on your bell bottoms,Beatle boots, and Neru jackets then goove with the Beau Brummels.
1st big American long-hair group.......2005-09-09
In that brief period between late 1963-early 1964, the Beau Brummels were the first American long-hair rock band to score big hits competing against the Beatles, Dave Clark Five and the Rolling Stones.
People forget that the Beau Brummels were first among American rock bands.
To put the Beaus in perspective, they belong among these:
The Dave Clark Five also are overlooked. They actually challenged the Beatles for several months. No other group came close.
Del Shannon was a great rocker emerging from pop music, leading into the Beatles and long-hair rock explosion. These were the greatest rock music pioneers who have been basically forgotten.
Billy J Kramer and the Dakotas. Paul McCartney wrote songs for them regularly, as if he was a member of the band.
Peter and Gordon, Chad and Jeremy -- bridge from folk to rock, as Shannon was a bridge from hard pop to rock. Just mentioning The Forgotten Ones here.
The Animals are severely neglected, considering the power of the band.
The Searchers were 2nd best singers among the first rock bands.
The Walker Brothers were Americans, but voted best new band of 1965 in London. Their lead singer, Scott Walker, was considered to have a godlike vocal talent.
Scott Walker, Peter Green, Syd Barrett are the great lost figures among early rockers.
Fleetwood Mac had three extremely gifted leader-guitar players in Green, Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan.
The Spencer Davis Group was a top-flight professional rock band, on a level with the Animals -- as masterful as anyone. Stevie Winwood was considered a super talent on the level of an Eric Clapton when he was with the Spencer Davis Group.
There should be a compilation of the obscure greats of early rock history, and the Beau Brummels should rank as earliest among American rock bands who actually produced songs worthy of hit status.
Huge, historical forces have been forgotten. No one American was more influential than The Charlatans. How many have even heard of them?
"Beau" follows "Beat".......2005-03-27
The Best of the Beau Brummels is a fairly interesting period piece. I never heard the group perform live but enjoyed some of their hits in the sixties. The songs don't sound all that good today, but they're okay. Perhaps the liner notes turned me off. The liner notes state that the group took its name because "Beau" follows "Beat" (as in Beatles), alphabetically speaking. People browsing the Beatles' bin would stumble onto the Beau Brummels records. That's not too kool, and it seems the group lacked the musical originality that made other groups lasting icons. This is not a terrible CD. It's okay. But why any group would tamper with Bob Dylan's words, as the Beau Brummels do in "One Too Many Mornings," is beyond my wildest imagination. If you love sixties music, this is a good addition to your collection, but it won't be on the top of your stack.
The Most Underrated 60's Group.......2005-03-19
Just a brief observation: In this boomer's opinion, the Beau Brummels were a great 60's group which, for a number of reasons, never reached their full potential, or got adequate recognition for the music they put out. The song-writing talents of Ron Elliott, the instrumental talents of the whole group, and Sal V.'s vocals, add up to a great listening experience. One of my favorites from the era of the British Invasion, the San Francisco group was really the first American group to successfully produce that sound, yet stay original. Buy the album and enjoy!

The Who needed two rock operas to reach their apex, but Genesis climaxed first time out with The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. On the live version which takes up half of this four-CD box, the Peter Gabriel-fronted incarnation goes out with a bang, dressing up its art rock in black leather and brass knuckles. Disc 3's live renditions of "Supper's Ready" and "Dancing with the Moonlit Knight" are nearly as powerful, while Disc 4's demos from the embryonic late-'60s lineup offer a pleasing glimpse into the group's folk and psychedelic roots. Expansive yet muscular, this compelling set shows Gabriel and company paving the way for a generation of pop explorers right up through Radiohead. All nostalgia should sound this vital. --Billy Grenier

I am in heaven.......2007-02-19
This 4 cd pack give us "The lamb lies down on Broadway" Live with a impressive sound quality. I prefer this version than the original.
The third cd contains real classic in Live version like "Dancing with the Moonlit Knight", "Firth of Fifth" and "Supper's Ready" and some others plus other studio cuts.
The fourth cd is for die hard fan, and contains early demos in the 1966-1970 period. Again, "The lamb.." is simply amazing.
Imperfect but essential for serious fans - 4 1/2 stars really! .......2007-01-11
I'll give them 5 stars for finally releasing this material, but there are some flaws with this collection that bump it down to a 4 star (4.5 really) rating.
On the plus side:
Prior to this release, the only official live set from the Gabriel-era Genesis was "Genesis Live", a 1 LP album covering material up to "Foxtrot". The glaring omission was "Supper's Ready". Fans like myself, who consider the stuff with Gabriel to be infinitely superior, had to settle for "Seconds Out" (more like "Sloppy Seconds"), with Phil Collins singing the vocals. Phil Collins did a mostly decent job at covering them, but it wasn't the real deal! This box set corrects this.
The performances are all very good, and they include some of Peter Gabriel's stories in between. There is no repetition with "Genesis Live", so they are very complementary and fans will want both.
The collection includes two songs previously not on any album, "Twilight Alehouse" and "Happy the Man". "Happy the Man" doesn't thrill me, but "Twilight Alehouse" is great, and apparently an early concert favorite.
On the minus side:
Disk 4 is entirely material dating from before "Trespass", before Genesis really found their "classic" style. I am not a fan of their first album "From Genesis to Revelations". To me this CD is of interest only as a curiosity. It is very interesting, for instance, that Peter Gabriel already had that distinctive raspy quality to his voice in 1967, when he was 17 years old! Some of the material is decent, some is rather weak. Still, I won't be playing this disk very often.
Another partial downer is that Gabriel and Hackett re-recorded some of their parts on the live "Lamb..." on the first two disks. In some spots it's quite obvious because, as with any singer, Peter Gabriel's voice changed in the 23 years since. Still this is nitpicking really. It's great to have the complete live performance.
One further bit of nitpicking on the choice of material. I really don't mean to bash on Phil Collins, but do we really need a live version of "More Fool Me"? This song really was filler material. Meanwhile two glaring omissions from the collection are "Cinema Show", and especially "Fountain of Salmacis".
Despite some imperfections, serious fans of the "real" Genesis need this collection. Neophytes should get the 4 classic studio albums, "Nursery Cryme", "Foxtrot", "Selling England by the Pound", and "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" first, and then get this box set plus "Genesis Live". After that they should also get "Trespass" and "Trick of the Tale", which are not as good, but still very worthwhile. Skip the rest, in my (perhaps not so) humble opinion.
One complaint I have is that the booklet, while it has great photos and is fun to read, is very flimsy and is begining to fall apart after one reading. Boo!
Incredible..........2006-12-10
Classic era Genesis. As always, the musicianship is top notch.
Phil Collins plays the drums like they owe him money!
If you like Genesis LIVE, you'll love this. Worth the price!
Simply amazing.......2006-06-22
I was always a fan of Genesis during the Peter Gabriel era, but did not particularly like 'The Lamb' for it's over produced synthetic sound. For me the live version is like a completely new work. The amazing musical/narative quality of this work is finnaly getting out of it's electronic shell. I cannot reccomend this collection highly enough. I haven't even listened to the other 2 CD's but this collection is worth buying just for the 'The Lamb'.
Without all the dated electronic artifacts from the studio version, this work becomes modern again and a classic that will be enjoyed, I am sure, by many generations to come.
For die hard Gabriel-era Genesis fans only.......2006-03-04
The fact that this boxed-set has been out since 1998 and I have only just acquired it should attest to the fact that I am not a huge fan of the packaged fluff record companies throw at the public to continue making money off of old material. However, the fact that I was willing to spend a fairly significant chunk of change for this should indicate that I am I great fan of Genesis. I am not one of those "Gabriel vs. Collins" types, however. Genesis was a band that offered its listeners (particularly pre-"Duke") sophisticated compositions with superior instrumental technique; it mattered not whether Gabriel was fronting the band or Collins (although I will admit a preference for Gabriel's voice).
"Genesis Archive 1967-75" offers several delicious tidbits from the Gabriel era. The live version of "The Lamb" (discs 1&2) has some very fine moments. The overdubbing of new vocals by Gabriel is both fascinating and a distraction as the obviously mature Gabriel vocals mix in with the poorer quality (sound-wise) of a live mix 1975 Genesis. The final track from this bit, "It", is the real tease though. As mentioned elsewhere, it was, out of necessity, a studio track, but it packs more power than most of the other tracks from this live Lamb. It made me wish they had just re-recorded the entire album in the studio.
Disc 3 is the gem here. The live recordings of much of "Selling England" are high quality and high energy. The older pieces, "Twilight Ale House", "Stagnation", and "Happy the Man" are nice choices that demonstrate what Genesis was to evolve from, while "Watcher in the Sky" captures that powerful potential nicely. Unfortunately, this "Watcher" is badly recorded and suffers from distorted vocals. I have saved mention of "Supper's Ready" for last, because without its presence in the boxed set, I would not have purchased it. "Supper's Ready", to me, is the quintessential Genesis piece. Their story-telling ability, their composition skill, and their technical expertise, all fall into place in this incredible piece of music. I always felt that the studio version from "Foxtrot" was a bit flat, especially compared to the stunning job done post-Gabriel on the live "Seconds Out". I had great hopes that the live version on "Genesis Archive" would give the power of the "Seconds Out" version only with Gabriel on vocals. I don't believe it does. It is not a question of Gabriel vs. Collins, but a matter of the overall quality of the recording. The mix of Supper's Ready on "Seconds Out" is far superior in my opinion, and the performance itself is much tighter and cleaner.
Disc 4 of "Genesis Archive" is a collection of very early work, before the real Genesis style had developed. It is a curiosity at best and left me wishing someone had taken the time to track down additional live cuts of later songs (perhaps from Nursery Cryme).
If you have no live Genesis recordings, I would point you in the direction of "Seconds Out". It contains samplings of the majority of the best years of this band and the overall recording is of better quality than "Archives". If you're just not happy unless Gabriel's at the mic, then perhaps this compilation is right for you. For me, it just doesn't offer enough special moments to justify the price tag.

Customer Reviews:
One of the finest garage rock sets ever assembled. .......2007-06-07
Along with Nuggets and the Back from the Grave CDs, the first volume of the Essential Pebbles series is one of the greatest purchases that a garage rock fan can make. The two discs that make up this set are crammed full of brainbending mid-60s classics of the highest order. The songs are raw, crude, murderously energetic, and more fun than a roller coaster- in other words, everything that rock 'n' roll is supposed to be.
The first disc of the set is particularly impressive. It cobbles together 29 of the best tracks from the first ten CDs of the long-running Pebbles series, as well as three cuts from Ear-Piercing Punk, an offshoot of the series. These songs are simply astounding. The Preachers' cover of "Who Do You Love" opens the album with a menacing burst of drums, some filthy guitars, and an absurdly thuggish, greasy, mean-as-hell vocal. The Grains of Sand keep the party going with the hyperactive "Going Away Baby," which features an ultra-hip vocal and an organ solo that practically bounces off the walls of the recording studio. The Jujus' "You Treat Me Bad" is as absurd as it is catchy, thanks to its oddly appealing impish vocals and shimmering guitar line. The Haunted's "1-2-5" is a churning, greasy punk rocker with a nasty guitar line and a strutting rhythm section. The Wild Knights' "Beaver Patrol" is pure macho-posturing frat-rock, with a hilariously stupid vocal performance and a grinding R&B sensibility. The Lyrics' "So What" is a furious snarling stomper with some truly mean harmonicas. The Green Fuz's "Green Fuz" may very well be the greatest garage rock song of all time- it's inarticulate, deranged, played without an ounce of professionalism, and catchier than anything you've ever experienced. Crank it up. Teddy & The Patches "Suzy Creamchease" is a hilarious Frank Zappa ripoff with a brutal fuzz guitar onslaught, while T.C. Atlantic's "Faces" is a grooving acid storm with some truly trippy lyrics. William Penn V's "Swami" is a gut-bustingly funny piece of acid-rock-garage with some buzzing guitars and an addictive rhythm. The Tree's "No Good Woman" is a raving three-chord pounder with furious vocals, and the Plague's "Go Away" expands on the wildest aspects of the Kinks' early singles. The Gentlemans' "It's A Crying Shame" is a roaring stomper that begs you to sing along with it, and the Omens' "Searching" is a firestorm of swirling organs and roaring guitars. The Foggy Notions' "Need a Little Loving" is a (relatively) slow burning tune with some awesome, sensual vocals. Dean Carter's "Rebel Woman" is a classic piece of salivating desire, and the Lost Agency's "One Girl Man" is a sneering stomper of the highest order. The Trolls' "Every Night & Every Day" is a catchy three-chorder with some surprisingly funny lyrics. The Starfires' "I Never Loved Her" is quiter than some of the other songs here, but it burns with its own fiery intensity. The Beckett Quintet's "No Correspondance" is a merseybeat popper with a shimmering guitar lick. The Dovers' "She's Not Just Anybody" is just plain astounding, a bewitching slice of Beatles-influenced folk rock with a delicate cascade of guitars and a wistful, haunting vocal. The Hysterics' "Everything's There" has what may be the single filthiest vocal performances in history, and the broken-glass guitar line is icing on the cake. The Good Feelings' "Shattered" is a spacey swirl of keyboards and crunching guitars, while the Breakers' "I Ain't Dead Yet" is a defiant rocker with a rumbling melody. The Uncalled For's "Do Like Me" is one of the catchiest songs ever, a strutting popper that steadily builds in intensity. The Gonn's "Doin' Me In" is another one of those incredble garage rock epiphanies- it's a two chord punk apocalaypse with what can only be described as a gloriously desperate vocal. The Mile Ends' "Bottle Up and Go" is a sneering, dissafected raver, and the Bohemian Vendetta's "Enough" pounds along with a smokey organ riff. Keith Kessler closes out the disc with the surging "Don't Crowd Me." So, yep, every single song on disc 1 is awesome.
Disc 2, meanwhile, brings together a bunch of incredibly rare garage rock tunes that've never been reisuued before. They're not all winners, but there are enough good 'uns (such as the Motifs' "Someday" and the Shays' brilliant "Brainwashed") to make it an excellent listen for both newbies and diehard garage fans alike.
This is one of Garage rock's very finest compilations, a testiment to the power of the music at its best. Nobody who's even remotely interestred in garage shoudl be without this.
the unheard music is usually the best.......2006-09-17
Very enjoyable rock-n-roll. Any one of these bands could've made it big had they been in the right circumstances. I wonder what all these guys are doing now. This stuff is timeless.
time warp.......2005-07-06
What a surprise to discover that a song I recorded when I was 15 years old, in 1965, is selling on a compilation in 2005!!! I played the farfisa organ on "Searching" by the "Omens". We recorded this in a cramped, second floor apartment in Hammond, Indiana on a reel to reel tape. It was a wild time, playing teen clubs and sock hops, and paying WLTH DJ Ron Borden every $ we made to play the record on his radio show. This collection captures the vibrant energy of the 60's and showcases the raw talent that was rampant at the time.
Don't think twice about picking this one up!.......2004-06-07
It goes without saying, with a collection title like ESSENTIAL PEBBLES, each song should be a winner. Disc 1 collects the creme de la creme of the first 10 CD volumes of the PEBBLES garage/punk series, and not one of these songs is bad! From The Preachers' "Who Do You Love" to Teddy and Patches' "Suzy Creamcheese" to The Trolls' "Every Day and Every Night" to The Uncalled For's "Do Like Me" to Keith Kessler's "Don't Crowd Me", all 29 tracks are a superb primer for the newcomer to the garage scene and will have you scrambling to get every volume of the PEBBLES collection (buyer beware: not all of them are this great). The last three songs, The Mile Ends' "Bottle Up and Go", Bohemian Vendetta's "Enough", and "Don't Crowd Me", are from the EAR PIERCING PUNK CD, an offshoot volume of the PEBBLES run.
Disc 2 is where the collection starts to wane. Containing 26 rare 45's and acetates from around the U.S., including some groups whose names are unknown (!), this is the real reason that even those who have every PEBBLES CD will be in heaven with this set. Not every song on this disc is a classic; as a matter of fact, you might say some of them deserve to be left in the dusty vaults they came from. But the highlights include: The Motifs' "Someday", The Shays' "Brainwashed" (which is bleeped for profanity!), The Sinners' French-language "Sinnerisme", The Mixed Emotions' "Can't You Stop It Now", The Thunderbolts' "Heart So Cold", Peter and the Wolves' "Hey Mama" and "Only Everything" (a cover of Them's "I Can Only Give You Everything"), The Shades' "Down the Road Apiece", The Dynamic Nutones' "Sick and Tired", The Hustlers' "The Sky is Black", The Thorns' "I'm in Love", and an unknown group's "Fed Up". Unfortunately a lot of the songs tend to sound identical to one another, but the fact that they probably weren't heard outside of their particular region makes them a real treat to finally be able to experience!
USA Today.......2004-04-04
I was getting my oil changed at the local walmart the other day when I saw a lead article in USA today about how kids are starting to listen to the same music their parents did. Most of the kids quoted complained about a lack of quality with todays rockers. This is true. The problem is that no kids are learning to make it anymore.
The essential pebbles collection has none of this. All of the songs here were made by kids who were emulating everyone else they could see. 1966 was the most prolific musical year in history. And there are no bad songs on disc one. Even disc two is historically interesting. By the way, there are no master tapes to make the cd from. The singles are all that survives now. Some of what is on disc two has only one copy known worldwide. It saddens me to think what likely has been lost over the years.
This is the disc that made me get off my rear end and break out the old bass guitar, at age 42. If you know a kid who listens to Queen or the Rolling Stones, get them this and the nuggets box. We need new blood very badly.

Genesis pulled off one of rock's most successful chameleon acts, making an unlikely segue from prog rockers to MOR staples--imagine Rush morphing into Hootie & the Blowfish. But at the time of original vocalist Peter Gabriel's departure in the mid-'70s, few could have predicted the multiplatinum success that lay ahead. Indeed, it was hard enough to imagine who could even fill the shoes of an illustrious frontman whose theatrical antics included metallic batwing headgear and costuming himself as a giant, bubbling rock; tellingly, drummer Phil Collins originally wasn't even on the band's short list of contenders. Genesis's improbable career certainly warranted a box set. But two? Archive #2 documents the band's stellar Collins era over three discs, though it eschews the era's wealth of hit singles in favor of outtakes, remixes, and live recordings aimed primarily at diehard fans. Even the disc-plus of live performances leans primarily on unreleased versions of nonhit album cuts. It's a set that reveals some of the band's pop bent (the drama of "On the Shoreline," the hook-laden "I'd Rather Be You"), but leans more to its more experimental instincts (including the instrumental workouts "Do the Neurotic," "Naminanu," and "Submarine"). Even the 12-inch remixes of hits such as "Invisible Touch," "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight," "I Can't Dance," and "Land of Confusion" often seem like sly excuses to revisit prog roots. If you're searching for Genesis's greatest hits, this isn't it. But if you're a fan that wants to further explore the full range of the band's multifaceted, if often underestimated, talents, you'll find plenty to ponder in this archive. -Jerry McCulley

A 15-Year Experiment Immortalized on 3 Discs.......2007-07-27
"Genesis" has been around for close to 40 years (1968), & this little band is responsible for the solo careers of many fine "pop"
musicians. Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel and Mike Rutherford (MIKE + THE MECHANICS) have all enjoyed much success as solo stars, all three of them started out playing with GENESIS. All three of them were also together in the band for the better half of the 1970's.
However, this boxed set solidifies GENESIS' rise to the top of the "pop" charts in the late 1970's and the better part of the '80's. Phil Collins had taken over on vocals for Peter Gabriel in 1975, and the band was reduced to a trio by 1978. Luckily, this trio was responsible for some
of the greatest achievements in modern music, especially based on "singles."
You get three discs of prime classics and b-sides, which have never
before been released on compact disc. There are the classic singles like "Invisible Touch" and "I Can't Dance," as well as the rarities like
"You Might Recall" (Three Sides Live LP) and "Hearts on Fire," which
is an out-take from the 1991 sessions for "We Can't Dance" - Phil's
Swansong with the group.
I got the whole package for a measley $20 bucks, but that's becuase I
got it at the great "Bull Moose Music" in Portland, ME. There are also
many live versions of such GENESIS concert staples as "Ripples"
"Your Own Special Way," "It's Gonna Get Better" and "No Reply at All."
... and GENESIS will be performing "Ripples" for the first time in over
25 years. I will be in attendance for the reunion of Tony Banks and
Mike Rutherford with the great, Phil Collins, in September '07, on their
TURN IT ON AGAIN TOUR. Well, I suggest that all of the GENESIS fans who
are members of Amazon.com get this set. It's the best thing I bought all
year, and with the in-depth booklet that comes along with the package,
you really can't go wrong.
This box immortalizes the 15-year experiment that GENESIS endured after
the departure of the very talented, Peter Gabriel, and later on, the
guitar genius, Steve Hackett (1977). GENESIS would go on to create
some of the best loved anthems of the 1980's, and Phil Collins would
branch off from the trio and create 4 solo albums, while still being
employed as GENESIS' drummer, vocalist and overall leader.
Pleasing themselves, not the fans..........2007-03-02
Will try not to say too much that's been said already, but... When Tony, Mike & Phil were assembling this set, it's clear they were pleasing themselves and not thinking in terms of what fans would want. Thus they put the songs in an illogical order that *they* thought sounded good; they left off things the fans would want but *they* didn't like; and so on.
I personally have little or no use for the 12" remixes (except the "I Can't Dance" one), the work-in-progress version of "Mama", or even many of the live tracks. To me, this set is mainly worthwhile for the non-album studio tracks (including the songs from the U.S. THREE SIDES LIVE, the CD release of which is out of print, hard to find & didn't sound very good anyway). I listen to these easily as often as the albums they were left off of! So it annoys me (just as it does other fans) that certain things were omitted -- Match Of The Day, Me & Virgil, the unedited Mama & It's Gonna Get Better. But at least all of those can be found in CD form, although it takes some looking (and M&V sounds like CRAP). What *really* bothers me -- and which I haven't seen mentioned here thus far -- is that two of the non-LP songs have been tampered with. "Submarine" is missing its original ending (due to master damage) so part of it is repeated and faded. "It's Yourself" is faded early, entirely unnecessarily -- *they* just liked it better that way; this is a crime because the song is otherwise unavailable on CD and even the original single is hard to find.
So... this is essential for the fan, but it doesn't give all it could have.
Could have been so much better.......2007-02-19
Let's get through the three cd and see what's interesting.
Disc one : two cuts only "Evidence of Autumn" and "Inside and Out"
Disc two : A good version of "It's gonna get better", "Deep in the Motherlode" and four jewels here, I am talking about "Ripples", "Your own special way", "Entangled" and "Duke's Travel-Duke's end". "Burning rope" isn't bad also.
Disc three : there's just "The lady lies" that is worth listening.
Overall, 34 songs on the three cd pack and 10 worth listening to.
I have nothing to do with discoteque version of the Invisible Touch album (Invisible Touch, Tonight, tonight, tonight and "Land of confusion"
Why don't we have more stuff with Steve Hackett ?
What about the "Supper's Ready" 1982 version that the band performs that year ? This cd pack could have been a lot better if more songs when Steve Hackett was in the band were included. It could have been better also with a better choice of songs after Hackett's departure. A very big dissapointement.
This Box Set is Awesome!.......2005-10-16
I've been a major Genesis fan ever since the early 80's. I have every album/video since Duke & this box set is a fine addition to my collection. The B sides, live & 12" versions are all great. But I especially liked the new songs that were never released (hearts on fire, I'd rather be you & evidence of autumn). I can't believe great songs like these were never released before now! These could've easily all been singles! What were they thinking? I also can't believe how some fans are trashing this set & it's songs. Alot of the people who gave this set bad reviews are fans of the "old genesis". Those fans who only like the progressive era really shouldn't be reviewing this set cuz it's more for fans like me, who grew up in the 70's/80's & know & appreciate great pop music. Phil Collins took this band to new heights & musical creativity & w/out him, Genesis would never have been near as successful as it was. If you are a true fan of Genesis & aren't biased against the pop-oriented direction the band took, you won't go wrong buying this set.
Great Collins-era boxset but where in the world is...?.......2005-09-03
Fans of the Collins era(mostly the 80's Collins era) will love this set. It has songs like ON THE SHORELINE, which is one of the best Genesis songs ever and surprisingly wasn't on 1991's We Can't Dance. HEARTS ON FIRE is another b-side from that album that is also good. Why didn't they have all the songs from Spot the Pigeon like the lovely BEGGER ON A BEACH and other songs like ME AND VIRGIL and MATCH OF THE DAY?
Disc 1 is a collection of b-sides from the 80's era of Genesis like some unreleased songs from the Abacab session like PAPERLATE, the lovely YOU MIGHT RECALL, the somewhat jazzy NAMINANU, and the dramatic SUB-MARINE. Also on here is the wonderful instrumental from Invisible Touch, DO THE NEAUROTIC, not to mention the hip I'D RATHER BE YOU and the edgy FEEDING THE FIRE. EVIDENCE OF AUTUMN is a b-side from Duke written by Tony Banks. INSIDE AND OUT, which is from 1977's spot the pigeon, is my personal favorites and is one of the better songs from the Collins era.
Disc 2 is a collection of live stuff like ILLEGAL ALIEN, ENTANGLED, RIPPLES, ENTANGLED, BURNING ROPE, DEEP IN THE MOTHERLODE, and DREAMING WHILE YOU SLEEP.
Disc 3 is a mixture of 12-inch singles, live stuff, and b-sides. Included in the b-sides are the funny PIGEONS, the melodic OPEN DOOR, the dazzling DAY THE LIGHTS WENT OUT, the lovely VANCOUVER, and the majestic IT'S YOURSELF which has exerpts featured in LOS ENDOS, like that oboe sound.
All in all, this set is only for die-hard fans and if your turning to this as a greatest hits set, look otherwise.

Pebbles on LSD.......2007-06-15
The third entry in AIP Records' Pebbles series, which focuses on obscure mid 60s psychedelic rockers, is one of the most wonderfully "out there" albums ever. Don't worry- this isn't psychedelia of the whimsical "exploding purple butterfly" variety. This is full blown, mind-pulverizing, acid-drenched rock 'n' roll dimentia. Each song sounds like some pimple-popping teenager's bad trip, a heady concoction of hallucinogenic imagery and the kind of manic energy that can only be delivered by 60s garage band. Fuzz guitars and pounding rhythms are mixed with bizarre lyrics, trippy production, instrumrntal freak-outs, and the occasional burst of random noise. The result is a collection of songs that combine the raw joy of standard 60s garage rock with the weirdness of Frank Zappa or the Velvet Underground.
The best songs really are offbeat masterpieces: The Bees' "Voices Green and Purple" is an incredibly effective slice of nightmare-psych, with its ghostly three-note guitar riff, pulsating rhythms, and bloodcurdling screams. The same goes for The Monocles "Spider & The Fly," (NOT a cover of the Rolling Stones tune!) which features a deranged lyrical narration booming over an otherworldly production. There's also Lea Riders Group's "Dom Kellar os Mods," an obscure Swedish classic which builds from a taut, high-stung blues rocker into a full on freak out. The Calico Wall's "Flight Reaction" is a tense, weirdly funny journey into the mind of an acid-head with a terrible fear of flying. The song marries a ringing guitar line with an increasingly chaotic lead vocal and a catchy chorus. The Hogs' "Loose Lips Sync Ship" is gloriously inexplicaple, as are the Driving Stupid's astoudingly unhinged "Reality of Air-Fried Borsk" and "Horror Asparagus Stories." The Third Bardo's "I'm Five Years Ahead of My Time" is a tough, defiant psychedelic teenage anthem that really struts. William Penn Fyve's "Swami" is a hilarious sendup of hippie culture, with a great fuzz guitar-led melody thrown in for good measure. Teddy & The Patches' "Suzy Creamcheese" seriously rocks, with its pounding "Louie Louie" attitude and Zappa-inspired lyrics. And then there's the Race Marbles' indescribable Bob Dylan parody "Like a Dribbling Fram," which alone is worth the price of the CD. Higher Elevation's "The Diamond Mine" works purely becasue of kitsch value- it features some clueless D.J. reciting some "poetry," in which he stumbles helplessly from one psyhedelic cliche to the next, while a cheesy organ-driven noise-fest cranks along on the background.
Basically, it's insane. It's weird. It's one of the best volumes of the Pebbles series. Pick it up right now!
Pebbles has done it again a ACID drenched freak OUT!!!!!.......2006-05-03
They sure have topped themselves if thats possible. One word of advice though don't trip while listening to this GOD knows what corner of your mind you won't be able to get out of. Awesome bands trying to emulate the Doors, the hippie Beatles and Syd Barret to hilarious effect. Higher Elevation is some DJ spouting some stuff thats psychedelic poetry over art noise in " The Diamond Mine", then you got some band called Crystal Chandlier whose lead singer sounds almost exactly like Jim Morrison in the song "Suicidal Flowers", and then you got Psych garage punk insanity complete with gritty vocals in the band "Driving Stupid" and their two awesome songs. Buy this now don't even hesitate.
Psychedelic Dementia.......2002-06-06
Prepare yourself for a brain frazzeling trip through obscure American psych! Other volumes in the Pebbles series are spoiled by beat and frat rock rip-offs, but this one is top notch acid fuelled insanity all the way. The Callico Wall`s nightmarish "Flight Reaction" and The Monocles "Spider and the Fly"- a three minute horror film on record - are among the many highlights. Also included are a couple of great psych novelties such as The Jefferson Handkerchief`s "I`m Allergic to Flowers" which tells the story of a hay fever sufferer`s unfortunate attempts to woo a flower child, not to mention the disturbed genius of Adjeeef the Poet and Oshun.
This, and the equally demented "Beyond the Callico Wall" are in my humble opinion the best two Yank Psych Comps available...Come on kiddies, summer`s here and it`s time to take a trip into the bubbling fudge Sundae of your mind, just watch out for those voices green and purple...............
Great Series,Weaker Volume.......2002-05-13
By all means pick up as many of the Pebbles Volumes as you can if you crave wild 60's garage rock. However #3 (here with some bonus tracks not on my vinyl version)is not one of the better ones that I own. It's less rock and roll, and more psychedelic arty noise. It does have a few real gems especially The Jefferson Hankerchiefs' "I'm Allergic To Flowers" and William Penn IV's "Swami".

Customer Reviews:
One of the most introspective colorists of the piano!.......2007-07-31
The creative process has much in common with daydreaming. Many composers devotedly dedicated part of his works under this spirit anima and there are a reduced number of pianists who knew to understand and playing keeping this detail into account. Leonard Pennario was certainly, one of them. His incorporeal pianism , formidable technique and introspective mood made of him the perfect choice for this repertoire.
He was an incorporeal bridge, an invisible link between composer and listener, a pianist who emerged and remained isolated from the great audiences if you want, but that knew to maintain an artistic integrity that has missed in these last decades.
Some justice at last!.......2007-07-12
Leonard Pennario was truly one of the great American pianists of the 20th Century. Unfortunately, we Americans tend to be very hard on our own artists, particularly in the music field. Those in charge of serious music in the country always look to Europe first for musicians. Why? There seems to be a myth that Europeans are better at making music than Americans. Why are most of our top symphony orchestras conducted by foreigners? There is no good reason except a misguided mystique on the part of those who run such matters. Leonard Pennario was one of those who has slipped off the radar screen because of such short-sightedness.
Pennario made numerous recordings and personal appearances in his prime. I had the good fortune to attend several of his concerts. He was magnificent. His recordings were always full of life and have a zest which is rarely matched except by someone like his fellow American pianist, Earl Wild.
This album is partial justice to the great art of this fine man. MSR is to be complimented for the wonderful compilation of Pennario's early recordings. They belong in the recorded library of everyone who loves piano music. The technical quality of these gems is as superb as the superlative artistry portrayed by Mr. Pennario.
Let us hope that this is just the beginning of more to come.
Fabulous re-mastered mono sound!.......2007-07-03
Back in the 50s we had many of these on LP. Great to find them again!
Why not a successor set of the concerto recordings?
...if for the 72 minutes of Chopin alone, a must have.......2006-11-13
MSR have used the original Masters of the actual recording sessions for their superb remastering of the performances on these discs, bringing out a richness and depth of tonality and `presence' seldom heard in monophonic recordings. In fact, using a DVD/CD player through a surround sound home cinema system, with the music hovering above the speakers, I was oblivious to the fact it was mono. Perhaps it was some close proximity of the microphone when recording, but there is an intimacy in the listening experience, as if Pennario has pulled up a chair to your living room piano (albeit a Steinway!), and we are privy.
From more than 66 albums and CDs, Pennario fans have long known. To a new generation becoming acquainted with his artistry: a reviewer of his 1952 UK debut wrote, (with to my mind typical British reserve and understatement), "Nobody plays better than Pennario". His staggering technical virtuosity underpins his interpretation of every work, from the supreme nostalgic lyricism of the complete Chopin Waltzes, the lyrical dynamism of the Heroic Polonaise, (both included in this set), or as in other CD releases, the ominous, brooding dynamism of his Tchaikovsky No.1, and the downright seamy raunchiness of his definitive Rhapsody in Blue.
To date, there has been a paucity of commercial release of his solo piano repertoire on CD. These discs provide a sample of his repertoire of Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Debussy, Ravel and more. Hopefully this 4 disc set heralds that further releases can be eagerly anticipated.

One of the highlights of the series........2007-06-04
The fifth volume of the beloved Pebbles series gives us yet another round of blistering, gutbucket 60s rock n roll. You probably know the formula: sneering vocals, pounding rhythms, primitive guitars, and freewheeling keyboards are the cornerstones of any great garage punk song, and they abound on this disc. The result is an album chock full of deranged classics, overflowing with youthful agression and unchecked passion. There are enough highlights to keep a garage-head busy for days: The Tree's "No Good Woman" is an absolute scorcher, with some truly beastly guitars and a ferocious (and somewhat hilarious) vocal. The Dirty Wurds' "Why" is (literally) an all-out screamer, a rocker whose sheer volume and violence can get even the most experienced garage vetern's knees buckling. The Plague's "Go Away" is a thundering Kinks-influenced raver, and The Gentlemen's "It's A Cryin' Shame" is just plain explosive. The Merry Dragons' "Universal Vagrant" is a little poppier, thanks to its twinkling organs and steady rhythms, but it's still an all-out monster. And a catchy one, at that. The Escapades' "I Tell No Lies" is an ultra-cool rocker, with a great melody and a snakey little guitar line. The Satyrs' "Yesterday's Hero" is a tense, haunting number with a neat ascending organ riff and a churning bass line. Danny & The Counts contriute "You Need Love," a pounding punker that features a sitar(!) The Magi's "You Don't Know Me" actually came out in 1971 (boo!), but that's okay. The important thing is that it's lean, funky, propulsive, and downright catchy. Little Phil & The Night Shadows were kind enough to record "The Way It Used To Be," a rattling three-chord rocker that really rocks, and the State of Mind's "Move" is just plain groovy. So, all in all, an excellent set of garage-pounders, and one of the best entires in the Pebbles series.
My favorite PEBBLES volume so far.......2004-06-04
From the opening rocker "No Good Woman" by The Tree, PEBBLES VOL. 5 (subtitled "Various Morons") is a vast improvement on previous volumes by reissuing 20 songs which don't have a dud among them. It's hard to choose favorites, as each song has something cool going for it, but The Five Canadians' "Writing on the Wall", The Dirty Wurds' "Why", The Magi's "You Don't Know Me", The Merry Dragons' "Universal Vagrant", The Plague's "Go Away", Fe Fi Four Plus 2's "I Wanna Come Back", The Escapades' "I Tell No Lies", The Time Stoppers' "I Need Love", 12 A.M.'s "The Way I Feel", and Shag's "Stop and Listen". Some moments which may be seen as weak by discriminating ears would be Little Phil and the Nightshadows' "The Way It Used to Be", The State of Mind's "Move", and The Satyrs' anti-war song "Yesterday's Hero", but I still loved all three.
Run, don't walk, to pick up this garage band classic compilation! Every single song is superb hard-rockin' 60s perfection, with plenty of snarling male vocals, frenzied keyboards, spastic drumming, and wicked guitar and bass work. Some of the sound quality on a few songs is less than stellar (Danny and the Counts' "You Need Love", a real throbbing masterpiece, is quite muffled), but keep in mind these are culled from ultra-rare 45's and dust-covered master tapes.
Pretty damn good.... Some real hotties... a coupla bombs..........2003-11-19
Being a big fan of the Back from the Grave series first, I got into the Pebbles series second, and have found them to be pretty good, but I like the Back From the Grave package a tad better music-wise, and liners wise. This CD burns pretty solid though, with the exception of one or two duds. first off you got the tree doing a wicked nasty "no good woman"! this song just balls out rocks. then you get the plague doing a very kinks-ish "go away" but its still pretty cool, the Magi cut is some lame crap from the 70s that seems pretty distant from the rest of material presented here, but the five canadians makes up for any losses therein with "writing on the wall" - totally awesome, the dirty wurds "why" is a total insanity screamer... really badass, you get a great tale of homelessness with "universal vagrant" by the merry dragons, fe fi four + 2 does a groovy anti-acid "i wanna come back from the world of LSD"... maybe if some rockers avoided said drug, music wouldnt have turned so crappy.... anyway, you get a bunch more good tunes on here... yesterday's children's tune is a bit to much of a rip off of "gloria", but the cd does wrap up with a wicked tune by the shag called "stop and listen"! howooooooo! get the grave cds first and then check this one out... definitely worth the dough though.

Customer Reviews:
A great second volume- even better than the first........2007-07-02
The second volume of the Pebbles series serves up another round of forgotten rock n roll relics from the glory days of the 60s. This time around, the songs are among the very best in the entire series: The Zakary Thaks' "Bad Girl" is a double-time pounder whose sneering vocals and storming drums foreshadow the 70s punk explosion, while the Lyrics' "So What" is an absolutely ferocius tune with some blistering harmonica solos. The Satans' "Making Deals" is every bit as raunchy, mean-spirited, and brutally fun as the Rolling Stones at their best, and the Little Boy Blues' rendition of "I Can Only Give You Everything" threatens to burst at the seams with barely subdued sexuality. The Moving Sidewalks' "99th Floor" is a stomping, propulsive three-chord smasher, and the Road's "You Rub Me The Wrong Way" is a bleary-eyed frat-rocker that won't fail to get'cha dancing. The Green Fuz's "Green Fuz" is simply one of the greatest garage-rock songs of all time, a gruesome two-chord slopper that's every bit as catchy and addictive as it is deranged. On the poppier side of the spectrum, we have the Choir's rousing, bemused sing-along "It's Cold Outside," as well as a pre-"I Fought the Law" Bobby Fuller performing the convulsive party anthem "Wine Wine Wine." Phil & The Frantics do an ethereal, smokey, and subtle piece entitled "I Must Run," which features a twisting keyboard and some hushed vocals. And then there are the Dovers. Siply one of the most unfairly neglected rock groups ever, the Dovers were an incredible musical force. Their songs were uncanny, engrossing, and emotional, written and performed with a kind of flair that rivaled that of the most well-known musical acts of the day. The two Dovers tracks presented here are proof of that: "She's Gone," with its unique pop hooks and spiraling melody, could've (and should've) sat quite comfortably at the top of the charts. "What Am I Going to Do," meanwhile, is a genuine masterpiece, a spine-tingling rush of unchecked emotion whose power is nothing short of stunning. These are only some highlights of an excellent disc, one that should be in the collection of any fan of lesser-known rock n roll.
Definite improvement on VOL. 1.......2004-06-09
PEBBLES VOL. 2, a direct port from the vinyl edition with 6 bonus tracks, is a notch above its predecessor; all the songs are great little gems of garage rock 60s-style, even though several of them have appeared in better-sounding form on the NUGGETS boxed set (The Lyrics' "So What", Zakary Thaks' "Bad Girl", The Dovers' "What Am I Gonna Do", The Choir's "It's Cold Outside").
Highlights include: The Satans' "Makin' Deals", The Moving Sidewalks' "99th Floor", The Buddhas' "Lost Innocence", Randy Alvey and the Green Fuzz' "Green Fuzz" (this sounds like it was pumped out in an actual garage, very grungy!), The Dovers' "She's Gone", Bobby Fuller's "Wine Wine Wine", The Choir's "I'm Going Home", and The Avengers' "Be a Caveman".
It's not as great as future volumes of the PEBBLES series would be, but it's still a fine collection of garage classics worth purchasing for the completist.

Customer Reviews:
Not as essential as you would think.......2004-06-11
The "music fan from CA" is right: most of this music is obscure for a reason. It's simply not very good. After the incredible ESSENTIAL PEBBLES VOL. 1, where every single track was a surefire winner culled from the first 10 CD volumes of the PEBBLES series, I was really looking forward to popping this into my CD player. Unfortunately this was a major let-down; selecting songs from the PEBBLES LP's that haven't seen CD release yet, if these are the best of those, I'm not looking forward to those LP's seeing the light of the digital age.
The few good songs include: The Rogues' "How Many Times", Neal Ford and the Fanatics' "Shame on You", The Jelly Bean Bandits' "Generation", Sonny Flaherty and the Mark V's "Hey Conductor", The Live Wires' "Love", The Inmates' "More Than I Have", The Kama Del Sutras' "She Taught Me Love", and The Sweet Acids' "That Creature". That's 8 out of 26 songs that you'll find yourself glad you listened to. The rest are disposable.
If it's possible, the CD starts out at a good pace and each song progressively gets worse as the running time gets longer. Do yourself a favor and wear out your ESSENTIAL PEBBLES VOL. 1 CD rather than even consider the idea of purchasing this one. For hardcore completists only, who I expect will probably only give it a listen and toss it onto their shelf to collect dust.
Disc 2 holds some minor interest to collectors, as all 29 songs have never been reissued anywhere. Tracks actually worth hearing are: The Purple Haze's "Shades of Blue", The Dawn 5's instrumental "Mike's Bag", Denny Noie and the Catalinas' "It Ain't a Big Thing", The Fading Tribesmen's "More Feathers", and The Spires of Oxford's "But You're Gone". However, none of these songs are even all that memorable. Again, like CD 1, each song gets progressively worse as the disc goes on.
All in all, this is a supremely disappointing package that only hardcore completists will want to add to their collection. "Essential" is the one word that will NOT pop into your mind while listening to this misfire collection.
Obscure for a reason.......2000-12-27
I picked this up because I already own the original Nuggets album, the original Pebbles Vol. 1 vinyl album, and the Rhino Nuggets box set. I liked most (not all) of the songs on those albums, and the good stuff on those was really good. I thought that this CD would be more of the same good stuff.
Well...some of it is salvageable, but I am sad to report that most of these are obscure for a reason: namely, they stink! Unfortunately, there are very, very few undiscovered gems on these 2 CDs. Most of it is stuff by bands that very much deserved their obscurity. These songs are very inferior to the best garage rock of the '60s -- sometimes painfully inferior.
There are an absolute ton of recycled Yardbirds and Kinks riffs here -- and a little of those go a long, long way. (The cover of "I'm a Man" by the Baker St. Irregulars is a good example of a cover version that makes me want to scream "Give it up, guys!" and sends me scrambling for my original, vastly superior Yardbirds version of the song.)
Only for serious archaeologists.
amazing.......2000-09-16
Picking up where volume 1 leaves off, "Pebbles Vol. 2" continues to dig deep into the bowels of garage rock to find the tastiest leftovers from those bands with no names, and what a collection it is!
Very few Beatles clone bands made it like the Knickerbockers, the Beau Brummels, or small bands like the Gants, did, but what the collection showcases is that whether in NYC or LA or a town of 50 people, the music was infectious, and the results are pure magic. Their names may be lost to history, but the music lives on, and its MAGIC to listen to!
Brian Eno once said that very few people listened to the Velvet Underground, but they all went out and formed a band because of them.. who knows, perhaps these tasty nuggets of Anglophiled Americana will cause the next great wave in music, as well..and it couldn't happen soon enough!!
Mange and bon appetit!!
Peter.......2000-04-21
This is pure rock 'n' roll perfection. This collection demonstrates where the roots existed of what we consider "classic" today.
More Raves From Daddy Rollin' Stone!.......1999-11-23
