queens of the stone age, aptly named so for their content, are one of the best bands out there today. josh homme has a fresh sound using older sounds to update, as it were, modern music. this album is definitly not so vague (see the track listing) as to leave out stuff or be the best consumer ep, but is a great addition to the other albums by q.o.t.s.a. never say never is awesome and who'll be the next in line just pushes the ep to a great finish. excellent buy.

Some of the best hard rock around.......2000-12-11

With so many rock bands around its sometimes hard to pick the good from the average, but the queens are one of the better rock bands of present,this new single(feel good hit of the summer)shows that they are no one trick pony. The single races along from start to finish and has a repetitive sound and a Nirvana cross with bush sound. The other tracks Your so vague, never say never and who will be next in line are fairly good, but sadly get boring after a few listens. However this single proves that QOTSA will be around for a while, and that's not a bad thing.

Rock and Roll is back.......2002-01-25

Queens of the Stone age have made rock music good again. We have been blessed with an alternative to the Limp Bizkits and Project Wyze's of the world. QOTSA don't even have to misspell a word in their band name to get recognition (Bizkit? Korn? Wyze? Staind? what the hell is that all about?)This is REAL music kids... Josh Homme and co. have given us 5 great tracks on this CD, Feel Good Hit of the Summer described my summer, how about y'all? Never say never and Who'll be next in line are great B-sides, the latter giving us some of that old school rock vibe revamped. Overall a great disc, and if you like this check out the Dession Sessions discs, orgasmic aural stimulation!
