About the Artist
The 80's: The end of disco and the return of Rock-N-Roll, the beginning of MTV and the most profitable era the music industry has ever seen. Metal encompassed many areas from the early sounds of the NWOBH (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) to the trashy (and later flashy) wailings of the L.A. scene to the more underground and brutal cacophony of Thrash and Death Metal. Now moving into the 21st Century, again we are hearing the cries for the return of all that is heavy. As anything in the present, to truly understand it, you must first visit the past.

Product Description
THE LOUDEST TIMES: An 80's Metal Tribute is a record truly for the fans (and the curious newer generation) of the wildest and loudest decade of the 20th Century. The album features blazing performances by 12 international upncomers in todays rapidly resurging metal underground paying tribute to the likes of legends such as Savatage, W.A.S.P., Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Queensryche, Quiet Riot, Metallica, Metal Church, Twisted Sister, Thin Lizzy, Van Halen and Joe Satriani. Each track has been interpreted in very unique ways; such as Endless performing "We're Not Gonna Take It" in pure hardcore fashion and the Sepultura-ized speed frenzy of "Night Crawler" by Brazils Panzer.
