solid for a live cd.......2005-12-27
most live cds are not great quality, especially one from 2000. however the first song is about as far as you need to go to know it will raise the hair on your body!! slipknot hammers out the best performance and gets the crowd killin! Slayer was even good and i have always considered them WAAAAY overhyped through the years. sevendust and nothingface do a great job of stealing the show as well.
however....one question.........what the hell was nashville pussy doing on this? molly hatchet wannabe. garth brooks would have been a better country act! horrible!!
overall...buy this baby. it will fire you up!!
awesome service and a Great Cd.......2005-09-24
I knew the cd would be as great as it is. I received the cd just a few days after ordering it and it was in mint condition along with the booklet! I am Very Very Impressed!!!!
Slayer saves another disastrous disc.......2002-04-24
I'm sorry... I reviewed this CD quite a long time ago and I am ashamed of myself. This CD is a sampler for awful nu-metal bands. Slayer saves the day with "Stain of Mind" and "Chemical Warfare." Rock and roll is not dead, at least not while The Workhorse Movement has anything to say about it. Nashville Pussy also delivers a good performance, even though their southern rock doesn't really fit in, not that it's a bad thing when so many of the other bands are pathetic. Definitely not worth the money, Workhorse Movement's performance isn't much different from the album version and you can get a much better and, obviously, longer Slayer performance from Decade of Aggression. Avoid avoid avoid avoid.
One of the best live albums.......2002-02-05
Slipknot, Slayer, Sepultura,Mudvayne, Hatebreed.....what could go wrong with these guys on the same bill? Slipknot's performance of "Liberate" is probably the best on the CD, and makes you feel like you're really at the show. "Surfacing" is a little sloppy though. Slayer's "Stain of Mind" is great, but I prefer "Chemical Warfare", which takes you all the way back to "Haunting...". Sevendust's perfomances are good if you want a more mellow sound, but I prefer the stuff on their new album. Sepultura's "Choke" is a liiitttllle sloppy as well, but it's still great. Hatebreed's new song is awesome, and I'm now highly anticipating their new album. Mudvayne's perfomance is SUPERB, and is even faster live, but I wish they would've done "Death Blooms" or something. I don't care much for (hed)pe, but their performance is ok. The same thing goes for nothingface. I had never heard of UPO or TWHM, but they are pretty good. Ha, and Nashville (just 'bout an hour away from me in TN) P*ssy's "Go to hell" is fabulous. Check it out if you're a fan of any of these bands. P.S.- They should've had Pantera on here!
Tattoo the Earth: The First Crusade.......2001-12-27
Personally, I loved this CD. I still get an adrenaline rush every time I hear Slipknot get the crowd hyped up during the first song. Throughout the CD, you really feel like you're at the concert if the volume is high enough. The first time I listened to it, I had my CD player volume at 8 of 10 for the duration of the CD and when it ended, I had a concert-type ringing in my ears. I would recommend this CD to any fan of Metal!

Don't waste your money on an unedited copy unless your parents have a problem with swearing. Otherwise, buy the unedited!

Slayer's Best.......2001-01-25
If you thought Decade of Aggresion was good, then you'll probably want to check out this item. I was acctually at this concert and it was crazy. Slayer almost sounds better live, than they do recorded.

If you like live compilations, this is the album for you!.......2003-04-08
If you're like me, a crazed metalhead, who loves live compilations of great metal music, then you'll love this cd. Some of the recording isn't fantastic, but it's not at all bad. I love cds that i can pop in, get the live vibe, and there are many songs from many bands (i love variety). So if you're like me, then buy this album. Starting off with Slipknot, you just can't go wrong. Slayer's "Stain of Mind" is one of the most incredible recordings of it i've ever heard. Sevendust just plain kicks ..., and who can dislike mudvayne's "Dig"? Warning: this album is not for pansies who don't like to headbang long and hard. Love it
