NO LYRICS... just six assorted super-tasty jams. Grab your favorite bong (just kidding) kick back and enjoy the flavor. But seriously, this is a great CD of extended heavy jams, with great drumming and great guitar work. There are also a bit of keyboards on this CD, which typically I do not care for in the least, but the keyboards are never put in the forefront, and given the fact there are no lyrics the keyboards do complement the compositions nicely. If you like jam bands, have the needed attention span, and don't mind bobbing your head for about fifty minutes, you will almost certainly enjoy this CD. I highly recommend it.

Kind of like "hittin the note" or "being in the zone" tHE great mucicians on this album have done it. And they got it all on tape. A monumental task, playing instrumental "jam rock" in a recording studio. Wheather you put yourself in a hard rock catagory or you are in the jam scene this record is for you. Straight from New Orleans baby.

it was astonishing! at firts i thought i listened to something in between 60's and 70's prog rock. it was to me a mix of Pink Floyd and Hawkwind played at a more heavy mood.

i wish this effort to continue

Boy, Clearlight sure knows how to rock out with some awesome grooves. This is some great heavy jam rock that will sure cater to your tastes.

The Right Direction.......2001-06-20

One of the most awesome bands around and utterly unkown. This split EP (coming after "Busse Woods"), though having only four Acid King tracks, is spectacular. It shows Lori S. and crew are moving into a more open, jamming sound. Each of the songs (especially "Free", a song penned in celebration of Lori's divorce from her husband, himself a member of the Melvins) sprawls out and relaxes on the couch, slowly presenting itself. "Four minutes" (an eight minute plus track) spends two minutes in the intro alone. Yes, this is thick bass that's not in a hurry to get anywhere. If you dig Monster Magnet, Kyuss, are like, heavy sounding bands, Acid King has your number.
