5 out of 5 stars They saved the best for last.....................2005-01-28

Absolutely love this album. By far the most amazing album I had listed to since tool's Aenima.I first got into this band through Solar Child '96 a remake of an old Solar Lovers track and I love good stoner rock. I think they did lose the style a bit around chrome era although some good stuff on there but this is so melancholic whilst not becoming unaccessable doom. It plainly rocks harder than the old Solar Lovers days and the new singer sounds brilliant like a mix between Tool and Bush not cookie monster.

Celestial Season used to be one of the top doom metal bands of all time back in the early 90's. What happened to these guys? They went to this stoner rock [stuff]. If you are familiar with the Celestial Season of the old days don't buy this album. Go out and buy "Forever Scarlet Passion" or "Solar lovers" to see what real Celestial Season was. This is just plain horrible. I still can't believe I once called this band a faveorite...

5 out of 5 stars Stonerrock.......2001-06-13

Kyuss, 7Zuma7 are related to this band. Why? Because they all make stonerrock. What`s the difference? Kyuss is one of the fouders. Celestial Season is not a dutch version. They improve on every CD they make. Orange and Chrome were already beautiful, but now the band has grown up and made Lunchbox Dialogues."Outshine" was a single in Europe. But the pearls of the CD are "Sharks & razors", "All wrong" and "From the plains". If you like this CD, you will love their live performance.

5 out of 5 stars EPIC beats..........2001-05-15

One day while living in Utrecht, Netherlands I found my way into a record shop and they were playing "Bleak Output" over the speakers... I somehow was able to talk the shop keeper into letting me buy this amazing bulk of beats...I owe that shop keeper many thanks...this album should exist in everyone's library...

5 out of 5 stars Slow moody lounge music for all those rainy days.......2000-07-16

This album is by a Polish DJ. He is only 21 or so, I read somewhere, but his music style is VERY mature. This is an instrumental album, with a vinyl-like feel to it [crusty sound, vinyl crackles] which greatly add to the all-over melancholic/nostalgic mood. It sounds like a soundtrack for a yet-to-be-made film. Slow hip-hop beats, a jazzy all-over sound, carefully placed and chosen melodies make this a very relaxing listening experience. If you like DJ Shadow, you'll definately like this. If you like DJ Krush, Portishead, Tricky's older work or Massive Attack, you'll like this for sure. It is different, but the feel is very much the same. Minimalist, moody triphop. This guy is a true talent, because he did not only put together a very clever album, but he was able to truly move me, to emotionalize me. That is TALENT. Highly recommended.
