London-based Area 54 was formed in 1997 by frontman Lakis Kyriacou. The band sits solidly in the melodic metal arena, drawing heavily on influences such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Megadeth. BEST ALBUM THIS SIDE OF THE MILLENNIUM.......2000-05-15

This album is the best I've heard in a long time. You See The Light, Where to Hide (Suicide),...And The Last Embrace are my favourite on this album, but every song is really good on here and is different to a lot of the stuff you will hear in today's music. It is a refreshing change to all the nu-metal out there. Area 54 have got the guts to stick with the more traditional metal but with more of an edge. I'm confident everyone will love this album even if you are not really into rock music.
