Don't stop at Night Ripper and don't be intimidated by Secret Diary........2007-07-11

I'm a huge Girl Talk fan and own everything he has put out. This record is my favorite. It is glitchier than Night Ripper and far poppier than Secret Diary. If you like Night Ripper, it is a pretty safe bet you will like this.

Not Rik's best lyrics, but some smokin' blues guitar.
Listen to Head Case. Reminds me of Jeff Beck (no kids... not the talentless Beck you're thinking of)

This is Rik's best rock-oriented album since leaving Triumph in 1988. He explores many different facets of the blues-rock genre on this disc, with enormous success on each track. If you like listening to extremely talented guitarists, give this one a try.

An excellent collection of music. A few sound like they could have come off of a Satriani album. Rik shows he can play bluesy rock with the best of them. A whole new style is shown on this album. A keeper for any Rik Emmett fan.
