Album Description

"Inhabit My Heart (Back Issue Series)" is the 2004 10th-anniversary reissue of Valerie Vigoda's debut CD, "Inhabit My Heart," which was released in the spring of 1994 and which started the band now known as GrooveLily.

Not the best, but it was the first.......2006-10-25

I became a HUGE fan of GrooveLilly when I saw them in the summer of 2006 performing in a musical version of A Midsummer Night's Dream. I have since picked up several of this interesting and innovative band's CDs. This one was a disappointment. It completely lacked the edge of Ms. Vagoda's later albums. This particular CD feels like a slightly pop-inspired easy listening/jazz endeavor. Valarie Vagoda's artful Violin-playing is under-utilized and the group lacks the interesting, musical edge that is later brought by keyboardist Brendan Milburn and drummer Gene Levin.

That is not to say that the album is entirely bad. The music is pretty, Ms. Vagoda's voice is as beautiful as ever, and the album has a late-80s feel that I found a bit nostalgic.

Ultimately, unless you are already a GooveLilly completist, avoid this album and instead pick up the fantastic "Little Light" or (my favorite) "Striking 12".

This is indeed not the Corina of old.

The new Corina is beautiful, talented and has a voice that
makes the hairs on one's neck stand up.

has a song on the "Sex & the City" commercials.

The single "Feel For You" is a warm ballad by New York singer Corina, who also did the vocals of 'To Love And Be Loved' on John Barry's soundtrack album "Swept From The Sea".

"Feel For You" written by Corina and her sister Cornelia, and recorded by Joe Hogue, a Grammy and Emmy Award winner is very much an autobiographic song; turning down a person who wanted to be her lover.

The second song on the CD, "Hugs & Kisses" was written in honour of the father of a classmate and friend of the family who died in the World Trade Centre on September 11th.

Corina has a very warm and soulful voice which really goes to the heart.

I give 5 stars; also to counter the nonsensical 1 star below.

There are no samples to determine if this is the same CORINA. Plus she totally doesn't look like CORINA of "TEMPTATION" fame. I'll buy it and give it a try. Usually, I'm pleasantly surprised when I listen to something new. I cannot rate this 'cause I know nothing of it and Amazon's rating system has no coice for 0; so I had to put 1 down. Best Winter songs.......2006-11-13

I LOVE THIS CD! I think it's my favorite Christmas CD of all time. The happiness is bittersweet since Late Tuesday is disbanding. I still love the girls. "Storybook Beautiful" is so poetic and brings tears to my eyes, makes me think of magical snow falling and making everything clean again.
