For those unfamiliar, the Tappet Brothers, better known as Click and Clack, are the zany fellows that host a Saturday-morning radio talk show on National Public Radio. Far from what you might imagine as highbrow, Car Talk is one of the most hysterically entertaining hours in all media. Folks from across America ring up the brothers with mechanical difficulties, driving strategies, and consumer questions. What follows is the brothers falling out with laughter and poking fun at each other and the callers. No problem is too silly and no solution too outrageous. In one of the finest moments included on The Best of Car Talk, we're treated to a caller's strategic black-pepper-and-eggs-in-the-radiator solution to leaks, which the brothers immediately dub "Eggs Prestone." --Paige La Grone

Daniel Pinkwater's search for an accommodating car will have you laughing out loud. By the time you get to Max the dog you will know you are listening to great radio. A favorite on those long trips, listening to Tommy's laugh alone will put a smile on your face. Smart and witty.
