Customer Reviews:
Not The Best...........2007-02-25
Like I said above, it isn't Al's best CD, but it manages to squeeze in a few laughs.
Jurrasic Park: 4/5 Mellow song about the movie. Bedrock Anthem is much better.
Young,Dumb,& Ugly: 4/5 He manages to strain his vocals enough to make it sound kinda like metal.
Bedrock Anthem: 5/5 Probably the best song on this CD.
Frank's 2000" TV: 3/5 Another mellow song about a guy with a really big TV.
Achy Breaky Song: 4/5 If your a kid, like me, you won't know hardly any of the singers he names.
Traffic Jam: 5/5 Very funny song about getting in a traffic jam.
Talk Soup: 2/5 I can't believe Weird Al sings this song!
Livin' In The Fridge: 5/5 Another excellent parody by the master singer.
She Never Told Me She Was A Mime: 3/5 Okay, maybe a 3 was a tad more than this song needs.
Harvey The Wonder Hamster: 1/5 The worst and shortest song on the CD.
Waffle King: 3/5 A guy finds a good waffle recipe, and......
Bohemian Polka: 3/5 Next time, do a medly.
The parodies are great, but the originals sag. I mean, there is something in each original that sounds exactly like the one before it. The point is, if you are already a fan, buy this. If you are just starting, buy Running With Scissors or Bad Hair Day.
Weird Al Yanovic album........2007-01-12
Very good album by Weird Al Yankovic by starting by him when he made his 1993 album called Alapooza. His songs are the best that he sang and still it remains it more fun to be listening too. I can rate of this artist performer that he is the best performer there is just like Weird Al and he is one of the best musical artist around.
Don't play that song........2006-10-27
This album by "Weird Al" Yankovic was released in 1993. It didn't have any hit songs, but it still sold pretty well. It features four song parodies. "Jurassic Park" is a parody of the oldie "MacArthur Park by actor Richard Harris, and is a funny song about the movie with that title. "Bedrock Anthem" is a parody of two Red Hot Chili Peppers songs, and is an amusing song about the Flintstones. "Achy Breaky Song" is, of course, a parody of "Achy Breaky Heart", and it's probably the funniest parody on the album, while it makes fun of how annoying "Achy Breaky Heart" is. "Livin' in the Fridge" is a parody of an Aerosmith song, and is the weakest parody on the album. There are seven original songs on the album, which are all pretty funny, with the funniest being "Frank's 2000" TV". There is no polka medley of recent hit songs this time around. Instead, there is a polka version of just one song, Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody", which had recently become a hit for the second time, due to it's inclusion in the movie Wayne's World. This is another funny album from a consitantly funny guy.
"Weird Al" Yankovic spoofs Jurassic Park.......2006-09-08
It was 1993 and JURASSIC PARK was the year's highest-grossing film collecting over ten billion dollars in box office receipts. Alfred Matthew "Weird Al" Yankovic just wanted to keep on going writing and recording music after the release of OFF THE DEEP END the previous year. BOHEMIAN POLKA is not a polka medley of covers of hit non-satirical songs, but is instead,a polka version of the late Freddie Mercury's hit Queen recording BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY. Yankovic spoofs,in animated form, the promotional advertisment for JP. The other songs are great.
Very funny!.......2004-07-04
This album is not as good as Off the Deep End, but it is still very funny. Jurassic Park is great, as are the other parodies on the album. Where Al might fall a little short of the mark for this album would be the originals. They are still very funny, but they could be better. Overall, this album is very good.

This is GREAT!!!!.......1999-05-05
I bought this cd and thought that I would only like half of the songs but I listened to the cd and all the songs were great! I think this is Weird Al's best written cd. My favorite songs on this are "Livin' in the Frige", and "Bohemian Polka". If you are looking for the right cd, this is the one.
Very funny. Maybe Al's best cd yet........1999-03-22
Alapalooza may be Al's best cd yet. It is very funny. I especially like the songs "Achy breaky song" and "Bohemian polka". I have to say,if you don't have this and you like Weird Al, get this awesome cd
GrooveHandle it isn't.......1999-03-11
Weird Al's level of enthusiam is only matched by his mediocrity. This is an album that you won't miss. Try some of the fresher acts such as the Juicepigs or Groovehandle.
realy good.......1999-01-06
I thought it was hilarios. My favorite song was Jurrastic park. I liked the backround screaming.
An awsome album!.......1998-12-18
This album is the very best of the "weird Al" universe. I collect his CDs and I must say that this is by far the best one. From `Frank's 2000" TV` to `Living in the fridge` it is his most exquisit work ever.
