'Titanic II' is a phenomenal comedy CD. Not only is the writing witty and clever, but the celebrity parodies are absolutely hilarious. I was laughing so hard at times I couldn't even breathe. The celebrity impressions of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack Nicholson, Sylvester Stallone and so many others are really quite amazing. If you like intelligent humor combined with a mix of zany characters, then this comedy CD is for you. Kudos to the talented people behind this incredible production!

What a treat to hear all my favorite characters in absolutely hilarious gags. Not only was my Titanic bone tickled, but my Star Trek craving went places where no one has been before. I cant believe that only 3 actors did all those voices. What a cube, ice that is. For a great laugh pick this cd up.

Titanic II is like a Marx Brothers movie with digital surround gags. The inspired clowning of this waggish trio of zanies, Meske, Keiser and Kirsher really broke me up, especially the Tavern song sung by a cast of thousands (Well, would you believe hundreds?). The "Tavern" sample on the site is only the intro. You'll have to buy the CD to hear the song. Nina Kirsher's zany voice impressions are uncanny. Her take on G.A.L. the computer is eerily brilliant. The major record labels should check out this madcap CD. To get the full effect, listen to it in surround stereo, headphones best.

This album is incredible! My favorite part is, ALL OF IT! Like the
Amazon description says, it's got world-class impressions, hilarious
situations, incredible sound effects and backgrounds, even a fully
orchestrated musical score! (No synthesized techno-pop here.)

THIS
IS NOT HYPE! Titanic II is a masterpiece! This thing is like an
audio `Broadway Play' on steroids! It deserves a thirty-year run at
the top of the charts.

Right from the start, you're hit with the
(wonderfully orchestrated) launch scene, complete with a hilarious
version of the original Titanic's embarrassing navigation
problems. (Narrated by `Robin Leach' of course.) But this is the
future, with a souped-up si-fi version of the ship called the
"Titanic II" (With Captain Picard at the helm. Who else?)
And the impersonation is perfect! They ALL are!

From the launch on,
it's pure insanity with the most unlikely associations of movie-stars,
political celebrities and an entire zoo of the most zany figures in
the entertainment industry. (Past and present.) Before I bought the
CD, I listened to almost all of the Amazon samples, but they hardly do
the thing justice. There's a real plot, with unbelievable situations,
and a non-stop pace of side-splitters that nearly put me in the
hospital. This thing is just plain great!

In addition to comedy
writing and performances that put most of the current Hollywood drivel
to shame, I have to mention how good it all sounds. I was so impressed
by this that I read every letter of the CD jacket to find out how it
was made. That's where I found the website address for "Titanic
II." It's at "handcranked.com". If you go there, you'll
find even more audio samples, (including high-quality mp3's,) and a
lot of information about how the album was made, and who made
it.

Once again, I was very impressed. The Engineers, Editors, Foley
artists, etc., are all major players in the tv and film industry!
These are the same people and recording studios that do the work on
nearly all the major tv shows and movies. No wonder the album sounds
so great!

Hilarious!.......2000-09-06

I decided to order this CD because of the satire of the "Titanic" phenomenon, and because of its references to "Star Trek" ... two legends that I love. I wasn't disappointed! The writing and the humor were clever, the voice talents of the impressionists were excellent, and the interpolation of all the final elements (music, sound effects, etc.) made for a quality production. Some of the celebrities impersonated were a little obscure (perhaps they were simply before my time ... I grew up in the 80's), but that's my only real complaint. Parents should be cautioned, the language is "PG-13" (about two or three instances of the "sh" word), and the dialog between the captain and his computer is mildly racy, but the hilarious ending itself is worth it! I'll probably end up ordering another copy for my sister and brother-in-law ... I know they'd love it as much as I did!
