This cd is hardcore crunk for christ. Unlike others christian rap artists, this cd has a dirty south feeling to it, but with a positive message. Reccomended highly above any dirty south artist. Also check out k-lee

These Apes are sui generis. Though classified under 'spoken word,' this is not a dualist conception on the order of, say, Ferlinghetti or Patchen reading with the accompaniment of a jazz combo; these pieces are conceived as integrated entities -- think of them as songs. At once tighter and looser than on their first CD ('Solitaire You Own the World'), the Apes approach this one with more confidence and gravitas. Poet Gilbert Marhoefer once again displays a fierce intelligence and an equally fierce wit. And then there's the fantastic package...
