4 out of 5 stars The original is their best.......2007-05-08

The Jerky Boys have a plethora of prank phone call albums but if you have to own one then this is it. This pretty much created a comedy sub-genre. On 'The Jerky Boys' there are many humorous prank phone calls, my favorites on this one being 'Sol's Glasses', 'Sushi Chef' (I WANT TIME TELL ME WHAT TIME!!), 'Auto Mechanic', 'Dental Malpractice', 'Hurt at Work', and the last track, 'Uncle Freddie'.

Maybe it's because I heard this one first, but for me none of the other Jerky Boys cds lived up to this. Although this is by far the best by the legendary Jerky Boys I wouldn't call this the greatest prank phone call cd of all time. 'CKY Volume 2', although out of print and only available for ridiculously high prices on auction sites (it doesent even seem to avaiable here anymore), has a much better prank phone call disc in it. This is worth checking out as well though, you're definitely going to get a few laughs out of it.

4 out of 5 stars I LOVE THE JERKY BOYS!.......2007-01-29

THE JERKY BOYS ARE GREAT AND I WANT THE REST OF THEIR CD'S!

5 out of 5 stars prank calls done brooklyn style.......2005-12-07

still makes me laugh after all these years.2 guys from brooklyn prank call people from doctors to lawyers, convincingly.they are so good at it and they know how to do it to make it down right hysterical.yankee haters might not be able to appreciate this and too bad for them because they don't know what they're missing.my favorite moments are with sol,a woody allenesque nerd who has problems with his glasses, roids, motorbike, and a fascination with his shoes.other good moments are with the gay man and frank rizzo.the last track is also great about a man and his son who call a plumber expecting it to be their uncle freddie. good stuff folks, that everyone, ecept children of course, should check out for the laughs.

5 out of 5 stars The Birth Of The Crank-Call Boom.......2005-04-30

The Jerky Boys somehow managed to find great commercial success by making prank phone calls, and this is the album that started it all. It introduces just about all of their classic characters - Frank Rizzo, Sol Rosenberg, Tarbash, etc. - and their unique brand of off-the-wall humor.

While crank-calling doesn't seem like a sophisticated style of humor, the Jerkys manage to elevate it to a vulgar art form. John Brennan (the Head Jerky, if you will) has a remarkable knack for improvisation and off-kilter remarks. You'll laugh as Frank Rizzo calls someone 'sizzlechest' or 'rubberneck,' even if you're not entirely sure what he's talking about. While the album is certainly vulgar, it's not a mindless swearing fest - there's some genuinely clever humor to be found here. And Sol Rosenberg is quite possibly the funniest crank-call character ever, although this particular album is definitely Rizzo's show.

This is a must-own album for comedy fans, provided you're not easily offended. Albums 2 and 3 are also great; everything afterwards is basically wretched.

4 out of 5 stars Jerky Boys - self-titled (Select Records).......2005-02-20

Loved the movie and always get a big jolt out of the CD.Some unforgetable lines from those two jobless 20-something ace phone pranksters:"Hey,tough guy, this better important!I'm having my little toe nails done here, you nookie-licker!What kind of a fruity operation are you running there anyway, sugar pants?".This is prime material to stick on your answering machine or to perhaps leave on someone's voice mail at 2am.Some more lines:"They call me Rubberneck!Because whenever I go off the handle,I get my dog to bite your b***s off,I'll break off your legs and shove 'em up your ass!!I'm silly that way, silly!!".Outrageous humor for those who can appreciate just that.A should-have.

5 out of 5 stars The Last Hurrah.......2005-04-30

This is the last great Jerky Boys album, and it basically marks the time they 'jumped the shark' and faded afterwards into mediocrity.

While there are many great characters on display (including a few fun new ones, like Bob The Cattle Rustler and Curly G.), the album belongs to the immortal Sol Rosenberg. His 'Lawn Equipment Debate' call is probably the funniest bit the Jerkys have ever done, and amazingly, it's done without vulgarity or mean-spiritedness. If you need to prove to someone that the Jerkys are more than just foul-mouthed punks with no comic skill, that's the call to show them.

'Lawnmower Sale' is a close second, featuring hilarious ranting from Bob The Cattle Rustler. You'll be quoting that call for weeks.

As always, Kamal's calls are mostly dead weight ('Stop That,' 'Tarbash's New Shoes,' etc.), but they're easily skipped to get to the good stuff. If you're a fan of prank-calling, this is as good as it gets.

5 out of 5 stars WHAT LEGENDS THEY ARE.......2005-03-21

The Jerky Boys are the best prank phone callers ever. What legends. They are like the originators and don't push too hard during the start of their prank calls. Notice how all of them are minutes long. They are funny because they play it how stupid some people are. Like Sol Rosenberg, a 50 year old jewish guy who is protective and worried and irritated and concerned about everything. Sol and Frank Rizzo and Jack Tor S are the best. No wonder the people on the other line think it's real and are saying to themselves "who the hell is this guy?!" A must have, it never dies.

5 out of 5 stars What's up with that delivery boy?.......2005-02-11

Starting with track 1, you know the Jerky Boys didn't slow down. As Rizzo rants about a Santa Claus-dressed delivery boy who, er, accosted him, you know it's gonna get nasty, and funny.

Could be the best Jerky disc, actually, as they retread the usual cast of characters and go above and beyond the call of prank calling duty with new characters, and even new set-ups where they place ads in the papers and wait for victims to call. Who said prank calling wasn't hard work?

Aside from irate, blue-collar Queens resident Frank Rizzo (who often gets the best rants out, including one about his annoying son's upcoming birthday), we have the fragile Sol Rosenberg (some of the funniest moments in this disc) as well as the psychotic Kissel, and the flamboyant Jack Tors. New additions include Big Ol' Badass Bob the Cattle Rustler (why didn't he do this character again?) and one track from Curly G, an inept rapper (funny, but like most of Kamal's tracks, it runs out of steam quick).

Johnny B, who did most of the characters, has to be a comic genius. The guy comes up with some choice lines, and thinks his way out of inquiries in a second, always with a vulgar sentiment thrown in. For fans of the first two albums, or even of the classic, Oscar-robbed film, this is a must.

4 out of 5 stars Cradle rock style!.......2004-04-19

This is another Jerky Boys crank calls album. Lots of funny stuff here. Favorite Jerky Boys characters are back, like Frank Rizzo, Sol Rosenberg, Kissel, Tarbash and Jack Tors. There are also a few new characters introduced, my favorite of which is Big Ole Bad Ass Bob The Cattle Rustler. One new thing they did here was take out classified ads in the newspaper and record the responses they received from people. It's pretty funny stuff. Recommended to fans of crank phone calls.

5 out of 5 stars FUNNEIST S*** EVER.......2003-09-24

I MUST HAVE LISTENED TO THIS CD 100O TIMES AND EVERY TIME IT'S FUNNER AND FUNNER. THE FUNNEIST TRACK TO ME IS "SANTAS DELIVERY". I CRY EVERY TIME I LISTEN TO THAT TRACK. IF YOU WANT TO LAUGH YOUR ASS OFF GET TIHS ALBUM ASAP.

Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars the tape is 10 times better.......2006-12-11

Back in the 90's, I bought Jerky Boys part 2 on a cassette tape, not a cd. After the crank-call concerning the scaffolding, you'd think that was the end of the tape, as it's the last title listed. Suddenly, you hear number-tones being dialed, and suddenly there's an answering-machine greeting say that you've reached 'Doggie do's and don'ts, a K-9 obedience
training school, after the beep leave a message and 1 of their staff would call you back.' When you hear the beep, you hear a dog growling, and the guy who does the voice to Frank Rizzo starts screaming to death while the dog is attacking him and growling. It's HILARIOUS, and I can't understand why it's only on the old-fashioned cassette-tape and not on the cd?

4 out of 5 stars The Jerkys Strike Back.......2005-04-30

While not quite as good as the original album (mostly because the novelty effect has worn off), this is still a very funny crank-call album that any fan of the genre should own.

While some of the calls are repetitive or drag on too long ('Terrorist Pizza' and 'Sex Therapy', for example), most of the pranks here are gems. The hopeless, neurotic Sol Rosenberg really comes into his own here, with the hilarious 'Ball-Game Beating', 'Sol's Nude Beach,' and 'Sol's Phobia' calls. And Frank Rizzo is a riot as always. Both of these characters are voiced by John Brennan, who does most of the good material on the Jerky Boys albums. His sidekick Kamal is basically along for the ride, providing the occasional chuckle at best.

All in all, it's a very solid effort from the Jerkys, with a lot of quotable lines. I wouldn't pay $16-20 for it, but I'm sure you can get it used for a reasonable price.

5 out of 5 stars They're tellin' me this, that and the other thing.......2004-11-25

This could be the best Jerky Boys album, a collection of classic material.

Starting with the silly 'Pablo Honey', which sounds like the boys pranking a friend, it moves into classic Rizzo territory with 'Drinking Problem', where Frank indicates he's 'sick', but still questions if it's a problem with 'the drinking'.

It gets more vulgar and demented and hilarious with Sol asking about his warts (disgusting, but funny), Frank doing his thing on 'Volunteer', Kamal doing 'Terrorist Pizza' (perhaps funnier today, in a sick way?) All the characters get their time here, with Rizzo leading the pack, along with Sol ('I'm so...insecure!') to Jack Tors getting some demented air time to Kissel threatening the help, and of course a magician and his pet cobra.

The Jerky Boys are an aquired taste for sure, maybe it's a New York thing, or a vulgar thing, but they put out four very funny CDs before fading off with a fifth and sixth.

Be warned, it's vulgar and at times downright demented ('A Little Emergency', 'Sol's Nudist Beach') but it's very funny. Johnny B (Rizzo, Sol, Tors) is arguably a comic genius, and he pretty much WAS the Jerky Boys. Also, be warned, you may find yourself breaking out quotes from this collection years later.

5 out of 5 stars Jerky Boys at their Best.......2004-09-21

The first one was Great. But on this one they really were getting creative. The stories they come up with on this one are just INSANE.

Without giving too much away (so don't read on if you don't want to), some of the funniest stuff on this cd include genital warts, a REALLY crazy gay hairdresser, the hilarious mexican pico, Sol being afraid of his own shadow (hahaha), firing greased up potatoes through a tennis machine, a very humorous attempt on word play with "security service", and all kinds of other crazy stuff. Then there's "pizza terrorist" which leaves you amazed that they didnt end up getting arrested for doing it.

(...)

4 out of 5 stars Come to Florida.......2004-04-19

This is the second of The Jerky Boys crank calls albums. It's not quite as funny as their first album, but it still has it's moments. Some of the best calls here involve the neurotic Sol Rosenberg and the angry Frank Rizzo. My favorite here is probably the one where Sol calls a therapist and says he is afraid of his own shadow. Recommended to fans of crank phone calls.

4 out of 5 stars way funny prank phone calls.......2007-03-15

if you have never heard of "The Jerky Boys" you got to buy this CD!! These guys are the KINGS of prank phone calls.. they have many charaters, and on this cd you get some of their funniest stuff! If you like this CD go ahead and get all of their CD'S they ALL made me "LOL" LAUGH OUT LOUD!! Very Funny STUFF!!!!

4 out of 5 stars very funny.......2006-08-22

If you've bought Jerky boys albums over the years then you've probably heard most of the ones on this piece. With that said it's still fall down funny and it's good to have all the "best" skits in one package. You'll laugh.

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely Hilarious.......2006-02-13

I'm really not sure why the other two reviews don't give the Jerky Boys the credit they deserve. Every one of these pranks will make you laugh so hard that you'll cry. I often play these CDs when friends are in my car and not one could not stop laughing. These CD's are an absolute must have!

1 out of 5 stars Horsecrap.......2005-11-22

Wow, this stuff is horrible. There are COUNTLESS phone prank CD's that are better than these guys. How they became touted as the 'grandfathers to modern prank calling' I'll never know or understand. They use the same idiotic characters over and over again without any use of quick wit. Every call leaves you dry and wondering why they recorded it. Imagine listening to a mildly retarded version of Andrew Dice Clay saying the exact same phrases to different people on the phone over and over again. I mean, most of these people seem to realize it's a prank within 30 seconds of each call! Um, that's not exactly a successful prank call to most people. Forget these retards, and check out some great crank call CD's such as any of the Brother Russell discs or Matt Besser (from Upright Citizen's Brigade).

3 out of 5 stars Good, but could have been better........2005-11-15

I liked the Jerky Boys first two albums alot. They were hysterical. After that, they just seemed watered down with there material.

This collection seems to briefly touch the first two albums, but mainly focuses on the later material.

Its not bad. Its entertaining. I just feel they could have picked the skits a lot better, and should have picked a few more from at least the first album.

Not a waste of money to pick up.

Like most Jerky fans i was disappointed also in this cd.A best of these guys? Come on,you need the rest of the albums on here.Unless they come out with a vol.2 including these albums this cd is a waste. But i am a Jerky fan thru and thru so i got it for my collection. It's not that these pranks are bad,its just a shame to have it with only two albums worth. My favorite pranks are "Roofing" and "Fava Beans".So if you are a big Jerky fan get it,if not,a casual listener, dont bother. The Jerky Boys Rule!

5 out of 5 stars The Jerky Boys Rule!!.......2002-12-07

If you are a fan of The Jerky Boys, get this cd.. it is only a best of Select records, which is the first 2 albums.. the other cds are not select records, so of course none of them will be on it.. the 10 non calls are kinda stupid but i liked the one new track with Frank Rizzo calling the record store asking for the new Jerky Boys cd.. again, if you have all their cds, you may want this for the collection.. it's just like buying any greatest hits for anything, we still buy 'em :)

1 out of 5 stars Very Disappointing.......2002-11-03

I've been a fanatic of the Jerky Boys ever since I first heard their bootleg tapes. I've always felt they've had something truly unique to offer in comedy and they've left an indelible impression.
Having said that, I have to give the Best of the Jerky Boys a big thumbs down. I purchased this CD with great anticipation when I saw it in the store and promptly returned it. There are several flaws with this CD. For starters, it only contains calls from their first two releases, leaving out any material from their subsequent albums. And while it does contain some of the better calls from the first two albums, it also contains several forgetable ones that should have been omitted. It's as if someone put all of the calls from the first two albums in a hat and randomly selected them. So how this can be considered a Best of collection is beyond me.
What's even more disappointing is the new material. The cover of the CD states there are '12 unreleased tracks,' which I was particularly looking forward to. Well these unreleased tracks include two quick, completely unfunny calls. The rest of the new tracks are not even calls at all. They are simply blurbs from their various characters, offering various advice and information. Huh? These are supposed to be considered new tracks? I couldn't believe it. The Jerky Boys should really have more respect for their fans than that.
In conclusion, do not bother buying this. You're much better off buying any of the Jerky Boy's other releases.

5 out of 5 stars If you already have the other Jery Boys cd's don't buy this........2002-10-28

I'm a huge Jerky Boys fan, and this is a great cd, but if you already own the rest of the Jerky Boys cd's don't waste your money on this one. This is thier greatest hits cd, and it has the best of their pranks, but it offers nothing new. It claims to have 12 previously unlreleased tracks, which it does have, but they are not worth the price. There are two new pranks which are short, and the other ten tracks are short non-prank skits, and a few remixes of pranks blended with songs. It's a good cd to have if you don't have the rest of their cd's, but if you already own them all don't pay money to have them again. The one video clip on the disc is an exert from their 1995 animated vhs. It's animation of The Super Across the Way.

2 out of 5 stars you cant make a best of cd for the jerkyboys!!!.......2002-10-26

if youve never heard the jerkyboys, maybe this is a good buy...but in all honesty, youre better off buying all of their previous albums because youll be missing out on some great ones...you simply cant fit all of their "best" pranks on one cd. for fans who already own every cd of theirs...this is a huge disappointment...dont buy it. 10 of the 12 unreleased "tracks" are not pranks, but just the characters talking (giving advice, etc). i bought it expecting 12 new pranks...i was extremely disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars THE BEST!.......2007-02-15

I normally don't write reviews for anything, but I was disappointed when reading other peoples negative reviews on this cd. This is by far the funniest and most creative of the Jerky Boys cds. . .people were listing the unfunny ones as the 'redeeming' factor. . .I don't get it. 'Kissel sails' will make me laugh until the day I die.

This cd is hilarious. . .don't be fooled by people whom don't have a decent sense of humor.

3 out of 5 stars Hi sir! Hi! HELLO?!.......2006-08-31

The fourth Jerky Boys album, released in 1997, is definitely a big drop-off from the first three. I think they peaked in 1995-1996, between the movie and the long, diverse, and hilarious third album.

While this installment of the crank-call masters has 24 tracks, there's a lot of throwaway material on this one. As usual, Johnny Brennan supplies most of the laughs, he basically being The Jerky Boys (Rizzo, Tors, Rosenberg). The best tracks once again belong to Rizzo. They're all excellent on this one, except Mining For Scotty which is stupid and overlong (but you can still mine out those classic Rizzo quotes). Testing For Jeopardy might be the longest Rizzo prank ever, and it's got the usual quick-wit, bizarre vulgarity, and general attitude we've come to expect and love from Rizzo. Otherwise, Rosenberg gets a few chuckles with his usual neurotic insanity, and Tors has a couple of decent laughs.

Otherwise, a lot of tracks sound like leftovers, or lame attempts. A good number are very short, almost outtakes (someone hangs up, or they sound like some kind of personal in-joke). Herman, Bacon, Helly Ray, Trains, Mariposa, Laundromat---they add nothing to the collection and just water down the good material.

Oddly enough, we get a music track(!) in Jerk Baby Jerk, which is basically a Miami-bass-style track with inane lyrics and some funny Jerky quotes sampled.

Overall, a must for the Jerky addict, but with the exception of Rizzo, this does not compare with the first three. Still, for a self-described 'low-life from Queens', Johnny Brennan is a comic genius.

4 out of 5 stars Come on, baby, it's the Jerky Boys!.......2006-07-02

This was the fourth album by crank callers the Jerky Boys, as if you couldn't guess that from the title. Each Jerky Boys album is slightly less funny than the previous one, but this one still made me laugh out loud several times. Sure, it's stupid and ridiculous, but I still find it amusing. The last track here is a dance song that incorporates bits from some of the Boys' calls.

2 out of 5 stars The Party's Over.......2005-05-04

The first three Jerky Boys albums represented the finest in crank-call comedy. (That may seem like faint praise, but it's true.) This fourth album, though, borders on embarrassment. It's an obviously-rushed product of low-to-middling quality, which shows a fair amount of desperation on the part of the Jerkys.

Note the second call, 'Need To Dance.' There's not a single laugh on it, and it's basically just the Jerkys' 'gay' character yelling back and forth with an annoyed guy from a production company. The 'prank' totally doesn't work, but it goes on minute after minute. Many of the calls feel the same way, and half the time, the person on the other end obviously knows they're being pranked, and just laugh to themselves. It seems like the joke is on the Jerkys at that point, as they desperately keep their shtick going despite the fact that their 'victim' is on to them.

There are a few laughs here, but it's obvious that the Jerkys were done for at this point. Stick with the first three albums.

2 out of 5 stars OUCH!.......2002-04-12

I am a major fan of the Jerky Boys. That said, listening to this CD was painful, especially when one is aware just how clever and funny the duo can be.

The thought that kept running through my head was "Are these the bits that wound up on the editing floor of the first three CDs?"
Many of the calls are really mean spirited and humorless(especially the Jeapordy bit). Other calls just seem to ramble and go nowhere. This is not vintage Jerky Boys.

The one redeeming bit on this album is Sol Rosenberg's phone call in an attempt to banish Howard Stern from the airwaves... only problem is he calls the Food and Drug Administration, thinking they could assist him with such his troubles.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first three Jerky Boys releases. Jerky Boys 4? Forget about it!

5 out of 5 stars Rusty Trombone does not blow! Pure 100% Jerky treats!.......2007-05-14

Fantastic then!

For anyone familiar with previous projects by the Jerky boys, they will get their fair share of SOLisms, FrankRizzoisms and ISMS from the other classics in the form of ring tones, voice mail greetings etc. There's lots of confusion to be inflicted on a close friend with a hot 'at home date' with some high end broad if you take a few Jack Tors messages and leave them on your friend's answering machine. Lots of fun indeed.

You will also find some brand spanking new prank calls to recite with your friends over a few beers. Sol, Jack, Frank are back, along with other favorites. Approx 100 tracks of pure 100% Jerky treats.

3 out of 5 stars John Brennan is a Growns Up Now.......2007-04-15

Hey John, whatta ya doin? let me ask you something. Did you @#$% Kamal?

The problem is that in the last ten years John crossed that fuzzy threshold into middle adulthood. I don't think he has it in him to call people up and f' wit dem over the phone. He's an adult now.

So is Kamal (who was always the lesser half and who's independent CD is equally depressing).

It's over. Let the 1990s and prank calls die. It's like the 1980s and leg warmers. All we can do is look back and laugh!

The Jerky Boys will always be part of my childhood and personality. And I'm still taken to putting on the headphones and stammering laughs when I need to zone out at work.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe what's missing is the twosome working in concert. I remember my friends and I doing our own Jerky-inspired prank calls. Most of the fun wasn't in the prank itself. It was after we hung up, laughing together hysterically. Or days later when we nudged each other with our own clever one-liners, and congratulated each other on being masters of the universe.

Listen to the old JB tracks. Occasionally you can catch a second or two of laughing/banter/encouragement between John and Kamal: "yeah do it." Turn up the volume on JB volume 4: "Trains" and you can even hear John coaching Kamal, e.g., to "ask about the kid." This is what makes a prank a prank.

It's called synergy, comradery, or just having a good time. Like you say on your website "who knew?" you boys were just having a good time. You were funny, fresh, and talented. I'm not sure what the rift was about, but I can guess that it had to do with money and ownership rights. Yeah you guys sure grew up -- jerky!

1 out of 5 stars Download and Save $$$$$$.......2007-04-07

Thanks to my fellow Amazonians berrating of this release, I have enacted my inaliable rights as a consumer and put that $20 back in my pocket.
I have instead chose to download it instead for nothing-whats it costing me nothing!I think its just as far and sort of like someone reimburssing me for me wasting cash on crappy releases in the past from that dyanmic-duo....when in doubt download.I mean how many times have we bought an album and found out its utter garbage!

1 out of 5 stars Horrible...just horrible........2007-04-06

Coming from an avid Jerky Boys fan -- I still listen to their other cd's all the time and STILL laugh -- this cd is a complete waste of time. 1 star is not low enough for the piece of garbage unworthy of the Jerky Boys' Signature.

Trust me, don't buy this. It's a complete waste of time. Stick with the Jerky Tapes, and CD's 3 & 4.

2 out of 5 stars A disappointment, by far the worst album to date.......2007-03-26

As others have said, this is a disappointing release. I am a huge fan of the boys and was eagerly awaiting lots of new calls, but instead got 96 tracks of re-recorded snippets of past jerky boy calls and 6 so-so prank calls. I too think all the voicemail and ring tones should have been released for free on the web site.

The calls that are on the CD have their moments, but not one of them comes close with the classic calls on previous CDs.

I would have liked to hear a bunch of calls that went bad where the callers knew who it was or the call derailed in some other way. At least that would have been new material and I am sure some of it is very funny. Brennan has to have dozens of calls like this if he was still making them at the height of their popularity.

I really hope Brennan releases a killer CD next or it might be the end of a true comedy legacy.

1 out of 5 stars The joke is over........2007-05-29

It was funny at first, but the Jerky Boy's have definitely run their course. This is especially evident in 'Stop Staring at Me'. The best thing about this album is probably the cover. All of the pranks here are mind-numbing stupid and didn't get a single laugh or smile from me. Avoid this at all costs!

3 out of 5 stars Worth the purchase.......2006-09-23

Given it is not the best compilation but masturbation box is hilarious so is super gay you will laugh! If you are a fan you should have it in your collection, I have every album and I listen to all of them worth the amount of money. You will laugh.Send a salami to a boy in the army thats what they say!

1 out of 5 stars Finally Hitting The Bottom.......2005-05-04

Most Jerkys' fans thought that things couldn't get any worse than the fourth album, but sadly, they did. This is as low as crank-calling gets, and it's obvious that the Jerkys had lost all of their inspiration at this point. This is a couple of tired, bored guys pumping out a product to make a few more bucks.

Just look at Sol Rosenberg, once the greatest character in prank-calling comedy. Some of his tracks on the album - 'Masturbation Box' and 'Send A Salami' especially - are excruciatingly stupid and unfunny. It's a real shame. The Jerkys were once clever punks; now they're vulgar and predictable, spewing juvenile potty humor. And what's with the '1,000 Chickens Trlogy?' None of the three parts is funny by itself, and it's less funny as a whole. Once Sol starts talking about having sex with the chickens, you'll shake your head and wonder where Brennan's clever and bizarre sense of humor went.

Avoid at all costs.

5 out of 5 stars Oh! My side!.......2004-10-27

You know, whenever you are feeling down, these guys will really and truly build you up immediately! I am a 20 year old visually impaired boy and I have been listening to the Jerky Boys ever since I was 15 and obviously I was old enough to understand adult humour and oh my gosh, I can't even begin to tell you how helarious these guys are! I always get a kick out of hearing Sol's calls and especially Frank Rizzo. I'm not too kean on Bad AssBob, to me he seems a little annoyingg. My gosh I was in stitches hearing this skit. Unfortunately, I had to actually download this whole album because, well, being blind I am unable to buy t his album with my parents or anyone older than I am who helps me buy CD's from record stores. I would really love to hear from other Jerky Boys fans out there you may Email me anytime! My address is maheen5894@sympatico.ca and if any of you can please maybe help me get more of their albums that would be great! The downloadable versions of these skits unfortunately cut off on various skits so I don't have the full album Stop Staring Of Me, but I would love the original version of this album instead of the downloaded version if you know what I mean.
I will look forward to hearing from any of you and as I always say, keep on laughing!!! Laughter is very good for you and these boys will always keep you laughing and giggling all the way through!

Still pretty funny but #1 & #2 are unbelievably funny. Buy #1 and #2 first then go to #3 and this one. Just make sure you buy one and two.

Johnny as Frank Rizzo has to be one of the funniest characters ever.

1 out of 5 stars Edited?.......2000-06-27

What exactly is the point to owning an edited version of a Jerky Boy's Album?

Buy the unedited copy for yourself, your kids shouldnt be listening to it anyway. Taking the profanity out of a Jerky Boys call is like taking the bubbles out of Coca Cola. Flat, who wants that? Get my point, I know it was lame, but ya know what I mean?

5 out of 5 stars Knee Slappin', Log Splittin' Hilarity.......1999-10-15

After hearin' this CD a record 450 times in Avalon, I still drip in my pants every time I hear the one about the lawnmower...It's great when your bowlin' with Herb or just drinkin' JB with Philly slobs...Josty does a great imitation of the big hick in the lawnmower skit...It's so funny...This CD is for you! Gimme two smacks across the mouth and I'll give you mine...

5 out of 5 stars THE BEST.......1998-07-10

4 out of 5 stars Good mid-90's soundtrack........2003-11-10

I didn't even see the movie, but this cd is full of good stuff. After a "Jerky Boys" phone call, it's all mostly songs. "Gel" is a great "Collective Soul" song. "Helmet" and "Tom Jones" both have good covers on here, as well as "L7's" cover of an old "Blondie" song. It doesn't say, but I'm positive "Four Fly Guys" is actually the "Beastie Boys". Also, the "House Of Pain" song is one of their best ever. "Superchunk" is pretty good too. Any fan of these bands, or the "Jerky Boys", should pick this up, used of course.

5 out of 5 stars Sounds Funny.......2002-06-30

Hold the phone! Here's the first big-screen adventure from the hot comedy recording artists behind to platinum albums by The Jerky Boys! You've heard their outrageous prank calls on their smash-hit CDs. Now, Johnny B. and Kamal-two self-described "low-lifes from Queens" - ring up and comedy chaos when a hilarious prank phone call pushes the buttons of an angry mob boss (Alan Arkin is from Edward Scissorhands, THe Rocketeer) who sens his hugs to disconnect the Jerky Boys for good! You'll laugh till your sides ache as the Boys' outrageous comic characters find themselves one step ahead of the law...and on the run of the mob!

5 out of 5 stars A great soundtrack with only one flaw song.......1999-10-20

With the exception of Dirty Dancing (which is pretty boring), this is a great soundtrack. It does include a new Jerky Boys call (which is just as good as the calls from the first album) and a remix of Fava Beans from the second. The music on here is also really great, some with clips from the movie mixed in. Some of the highlights are Gel by Collective Soul, Helmet's cover of Symptom of the Universe and the unlikely cover of Are You Gonna Go My Way by Tom Jones, which actually does work. Overall, this is defintly worth your money, even if there is one song that's Skip button material.
