I LOVE my Richard Jeni cd! I love to watch him on his DVD's, all of which I own, because he is sooo funny to watch but now I can laugh my way through the big city traffic cracking up and the folks in the other cars have no idea why!! It really makes driving fun! Try it. You won't be sorry.

Richard Jeni is one of the funniest comedians you will ever hear and this CD has a nice collection of his bits. He can be quite crude but also very smart. His mastery of words is on par with George Carlin. Favorite parts on this CD would be "Women Smoke Cigars?", "Fred Robster", "Women: They Came from a Drying Planet" and "Cooking with Bill".

I saw the HBO special when it aired in 1996. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. I reccomend this CD highly. The "Love Songs" bit he does is hysterical--I laughed my way into getting a "6-pack" from constant laughter...Ha, I'm laughing right now as I recall it--GREAT !!!

Seriously, RJ has to be one of the funniest comedians I've ever heard. I love this CD. It does get a little slow, IMHO, near the middle with the "football referee" thing, but that may be only because I hate sports. But it picks right back up again with the "women's shoe salesman" bit. During the All-Love Song Radio bit, I literally fell down laughing when he imitated Ethel Merman ("I recommend the Ethel Merman Christmas Ballad Special. Very relaxing--'SIIILENT NIIIIGHT!'") and Christopher Cross. ("The guy always sounds like he's driving by. Meep meep! Thank you Chris!") Also "Fred Robster" is hilarious. I gave this CD four stars, but it should really be four and a half (lost half a star for the not-very-funny-to-me football referee bit, like I said). But all in all I was _not_ disappointed.

Most of the material on this album is from You Might Be A Redneck If...", but it's still really cool! I've got some redneck shirts!!!! It doesn't matter if this is some of the same stuff. It's still Jeff! I've got his autograph and I'm putting it on display in my room.

These are tracks from YOU MIGHT BE A REDNECK IF, GAMES REDNECKS PLAY, TOTALLY COMMITTED, AND THE MUSIC ALBUM CRANK IT UP. That's why music is on here, come on people don't you read. Please get it straight, I just had to set that straight. So if you are looking for a review in full detail you will have to peep out some one else's, thanks.

deja vu.......2004-02-21

Ummmm.... didn't I hear that joke before? Just one track ago? Foxworthy is hilarious and these truely are some of his greatest bits, but I only needed to hear them each once on this CD. Instead they give them to me set to music and then without the music. I gave this to my husband and we were both really disappointed.

Funny, but what's with the repeats?.......2000-04-17

Jeff Foxworthy's material is unquestionably hilarious... he manages to mimic the redneck world he's a part of, without ever losing any of its charm. This collection of previous material (primarily from "You Might Be A Redneck If" and "Games Rednecks Play")is entertaining, as always. It is also extremely misleadingly labelled, to an extent which would constitute fraud if I had paid a subtantial sum for this CD. Most of the "tracks" are single-joke segments of an extended routine, and half the material repeats from the song segments to the stand-up parts. Putting half the material on twice does not add up to a full length album (and, at about 45 minutes total running time, this ain't a full-length album anyhow). Next time, wait till there's enough new matieral to warrant a full release, rather than trying to soak fans.

REALLY FUNNY.......2000-01-10

Although his last few singles haven't been very funny, his old singles are hilarious. Redneck Games is my favorite. Howdy From Maui is funny too. I gave it as Christmas presents this year and everybody loved it.

Different Tracks, but great Stuff.......2005-03-19

If you grew up in the early 60's when this material was originaly recorded, you need to buy this CD. The Astronaut bit alone is worth the price of the CD. My only gripe is that the tracks on the CD are slightly different than what is printed on the Cover. The tracks listed by Amazon on the web site are accurate (15 total), but the CD insert and back cover list 16 cuts. The song "My Phony Valentine" seems to be the one missing. What is more strange is that each of the 15 tracks is repeated, so the CD shows as having 30 tracks when you put it in a player. I thought maybe they were different versions, but I cannot tell any difference between tracks 1 and 16, 2 and 17, 3 and 18...

They say Laughter is the best medicine, but laughter combined with nostalgia is even better. Take 2 tracks and call me in the morning....

Space Reigns.......2004-07-03

I first heard the song "The Female Of The Species" from local radio station 98.7 Perfect 10. It sounded like some guy got badly hurt from a relationship but expressed it with dark humour. The song is very catchy, especially when I drive and need music to perk me up. So are the rest of the songs in this compilation, especially "Me & You Versus The World", "Money" and "Begin Again". The songs can be quite addictive as they continue to play in my head. The lyrics are baffling and at the same time delightful. Space didn't get as far as some established bands although they have produced British Top 10 hits. Perhaps this could be due to lower publicity hype and marketing efforts. But their infectious music should not be ignored.

Give me love.......2002-07-08

I recently popped in this cd into my stereo because I haven't listened to it in over a year. I almost forgot how much I enjoyed listening to this cd. I first fell in love with DJ Dado with his version of the X-Files theme on the first "Pure Moods" cd. When I found this cd in the used bins, I immediately picked it up. I couldn't help but hear the similiarities of DJ Dado's music with Robert Miles (particularly with his music from "Dreamland"). DJ Dado's music had a dream-like, ethereal, trance-like sound that is like of Robert Miles' first album. DJ Dado's choices in using female vocalists is outstanding. A couple of them reminded me a bit like the ones that Robert Miles used as well as longtime favorite Jan Johnston. Now while I thought that "Hour By Hour" and "more Than a Woman" was pretty mediocre, the album is filled with mostly outstanding tracks like "Dreaming", "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", "Give Me Love", "Coming Back", and "I'm In Love". Those songs in particular are my personal favorites. The vocals are really tight and the trance beats are very Robert Mileseque. "Desire" in some ways reminded me of Enigma. I could almost hear it on an Enigma album with its gentle female vocals and dreamlike , new age melodies. Now that I have listened to DJ Dado's greatest hits, I can't help but wonder where is he today and if his fans can expect another album from him.

This album was not quite what I expected. I favor the faster type of techno/rave with steady beats and few vocals. While there are some tracks on here that are like that, about halfway through the CD the atmosphere of the songs change. After listening to the whole CD, though, I was pleasantly surprised. Greatest Hits And Future Bits is a great album to have for parties because it has something for everyone on it. I just like DJ Dado's faster remixes of The Legend Of Babel and Dreaming better than the versions on here.

It hasnt left my cd player for a week now. Fans of Robert Miles will like this album. Anybody who likes good electronic music will like DJ DADO.

i recommend anyone listening to any kind of music should get this. my favorite songs, shine on you crazy diamond, Revenge, The legend of Babel, Hour by Hour, Dreaming, I'm in love, and angels. it has the total of 7 songs that are good and the rest are pretty average. if you like robert miles, you'll like dj dado. My god, when will he ever release another one. i can't wait.

A Must-Have album for any Cd Collection.......2000-07-12

If you're into good, old fashioned, fun-time, down and dirty rock and roll, these guys will lead you there, snare drum and sparklers in hand. Whether you are a hard core NDI fan or just want to know what the band's all about, this is the CD for you. It contains most of thier hits, and is a good starting point into their back catalog. Of course the CD can't give you the confetti or Silli String in the hair, the free stuff they throw out to the crowd, or capture those crazy pyrotechnics, but this CD is the next-best thing.
