Wow! Super Wow! Hijole! Pegue la loteria(I won the lottery)! This is an amazing disc that I found recently and just love. The coupling of quite possibly the most romantic voice Mexico ever produced and the guitar and vocals stylings of Los Panchos is a musical bonanza. When you hear the soft harmonizing backing up the velvety voice of Javier Solis it will send chills down your spine, it is incredible, truly incredible. Solis harmonizes with Los Panchos for some of the most memorable songs I have ever heard. Javier Solis sings some of his signature songs like "En Mi Viejo San Juan," the amazing homage in song to Puerto Rico's beauty, the melancholy "Payaso" and also such classics as "Sombras", "Cenizas" and the often recorded "Media Vuelta," composed by Jose Alfredo Jimenez, which is sung more uniquely than most interpretations. "Me Recordarras," the familiar bolero is superb. The music featured on this disc is of such quality and honest musicianship that you will play it several times over and over when you first here it, I know I did. Usually I play it at least twice in a row because it is a musical gem, besides it is a little short by todays 60+ minute CD's. I only wish there were more songs. If you are familiar with Los Panchos you know that they were one of the original trios to gain international status. The musical marriage here is match made in heaven. The soft accoustic guitars, the mariachi horns in the background and the voices of harmony are only matched by the rich timbre of Javier Solis. If you like romantic boleros this is the real deal, pure unadulterated sounds for dim lights and that special someone. Mood music for two hearts beating as one is what this music is all about, it is the music of love, es la musica de amor, then ,now and always. Add this disc to your collection and file it under romancing the soul. A fantastic disc that should not be missed this time around, you've got to have it because once you hear it you'll never forget it
