Calidad musical y originalidad absoluta!.......2007-07-27

De nuevo Amaury nos regala otro disco repleto de mucha alma y calidad musical. Un artista en toda la extension de la palabra con una formacion musical insuperable, una voz libre e inconfundible y un estilo muy propio, demasiado EL! Cada cancion es una historia y cada sentimiento va plasmado en una melodia. Versatil por atreverse a experimentar con cualquiera de nuestros ritmos, cada uno de sus trabajos es un tesoro. Cuanto talento (no del todo reconocido) en una era en que los artistas parecen venir en moldes hechos a la medida de la imagen popular "que mas vende" con promociones multimillonarias dirigidas a un "publico en particular". Es triste que la gente que en verdad hace musica de corazon ni siquiera reciban apoyo de las emisoras de radio locales y que no se les de la promocion que verdaderamente merecen...Gracias Amaury! Los que sabemos apreciar tu musica seguiremos siempre esperando tu proximo trabajo, o el placer de poder verte en vivo aqui en Miami...

Totally Blown Away !!.......2005-09-18

Amaury's smoooooth rhythm and timely beats keep your head rocking back and forth and your feet tapping to the beats. I so thoroughly enjoyed this album that I'm screaming the praises at the top of my lungs ! Quick, run and pick up this album you'll have friends going crazy over this guy. A beautiful voice and wonderful lyrics make for an incredible combination, you won't be disappointed.

He Is Amazing.......2004-11-30

As a muscian I can only stay amazed and admire the abundant Talent that flows from this Gentleman. I saw him perform live at a club in the village and he swept me off my feet. His lyrics, the music and his scatting blew me away. He sang his songs(LIVE) from the album "Piedras y Flores" and the audience wouldn't let him leave the stage.My advice is get his album as soon as possible.

This album is hot from the beginning to the end. The producers did a great job of blending Amaury's strong, but smooth melodic voice to the background music which has a new hip edge to it but still has that classic sound that will keep listeners of the CD in tuned. This is one of the greats in terms of expressing amor. Even if you don't understand Espanol you can feel the message Amaury is trying to come across when singing on this CD. If you don't have this CD it is a must buy. Trust me it will be one of those CDs' in your collection that will be played often. No dust allowed here.

Yes, it was a surprice, to listen this cd casually in Spain at a friend's house.
Fine arrangements, good musicians, mixing different style.
My trak is "Hace tiempo" a salsa/funky full of energy, you cannot keep stopped your hands, they will follow the rithm...

My favorite CD of the year.......2003-03-01

About a year ago, I was utterly bored with what I was hearing on the radio and started listening to Spanish pop stations. I am not a native speaker and the DJ's rarely annouce the names of the artists. So I was tormented for 6 months trying to find out who sang "Regresa Pronto." When I finally solved my mystery (long story)I puchased this CD and have loved it ever since. Great singing, outstanding production.

SOULFUL LATIN MUSICAL BLEND.......2004-03-23

I'm just started to hear this singer/composer songs and I found a very pleasant surprise, because all this songs are full of soul, some kind of bittersweet feeling aftertaste. For new buyers: this in not the typical salsa or dancing songs, but a exquisite blend of jazz, soul, and latin rhitms which remember me some "new trova" with very deep and touchful lyrics for everyone.
"Miedo a Sentir", "Las Cosas Mas Sencillas" and the title song are for me, the three highlights in this CD and deserve themselves the buying.
If you are looking for some music for a rainy evening, won't be dissapointed.

A really smooth rhythmic flavor. There is a very unique sound to Amaury's voice, you can feel the lyrics. A great track is "yo se que es mentira". If you like salsa, jazz, and rock this is a great blend.
