Justo Betancourt is one of the lesser known stars of the 1970's Fania-associated artists. This is a good record if you are looking for "hard-core" salsa that's not too rough (a bit on the commercial side). Most tracks are upbeat and fun to dance.

Great Salsa from an underrated Salsero. Forget about Frankie Negron, Victor Manuel and those other "Salseros" that they put on the radio nowadays to pass off as Salsa. Justo is the real deal. Buy this cd!!

Justo Betancourt was one of Fania Records' flagship singers during the 1970s and this album does include a fair share of his pre-1978 hits (although I prefer the original albums).
