An all-around excellent pairing........2004-06-05

This 1982 release features the great Puerto Rican sonero Adalberto Santiago on lead vocals and he gives some stellar performances here. Roberto Roena's band (as usual) brings us some very hot salsa dance tracks with very clever arrangements and it all adds up to the kind of funky, red-hot and fiery salsa that you rarely hear today. Pairing Adalberto with Roberto Roena's Apollo Sound was simply wonderful.
