Best Romantic Album!!!!.......2006-05-13

I'm from Russia. Now i have that excellent audio disc! Cesar is a wonderful romantic singer with great voice. His voice is a so passionate! CD also have a super covers with super fotos and beautiful boocklet!!! Very high level of recording!! Super!!!

Cesar Borja's self-titled album is an outstanding collection of contemporary Latin pop. The album is a mix of soft ballads, ballads with a more dramatic edge, and fast-tempo songs. All the lyrics are in Spanish. Cesar does a fine job interpreting each selection. With his masculine, but gentle, voice, Cesar is equally effective on both the softer selections and on the songs where he really belts the lyrics out.

The album is great to listen to in its entirety, but a few selections struck me as particularly memorable. "Finalmente tu" is a good example of a gentler, but nonetheless passionate performance; this song is followed up by "Quiero saber," in which Cesar goes into full "male diva" mode. On "Cero" he even throws a bit of a seductive growl into his voice.

If you are a fan of the better known contemporary Latin male vocalists, check out "Cesar Borja." This is a great album from an outstanding performer.
